Very well, showed up on time for initial meeting for inspection and project bid. Showed up on time for the work. Repaired several vents and the outside crawl space covers, cleared attic, placed traps at 2 crawl space entrances. Follow-up has been excellent, price included 4 weekly traps checks, they called me to schedule weekly checks and so far have completed 2, on time per appointment. I plan to replace Terminix with Handitech when my Terminix contracts run out.

The overall experience and service was very good. I did see some roaches 3 days after the initial treatment but then none after that. The tech came back about about 2.5 weeks after the initial treatment to do a recheck and retreat but I had to call to schedule this, even as I was told their office would automatically call me to schedule it. The front office person and the reps are super-courteous and professional. The the person who did the initial, in-home assessment and the actual tech arrived outside their quoted arrival windows, but the good thing is that each called to notify me when they would arrive. I mention this because I work from home and take a lot of meetings, so it was important for them to arrive at the agreed-upon time. The service tech, Ray, was nice and was very quiet while he treated the kitchen. He also put on shoe covers before entering my home, which I appreciated.

We used Handytech for a local treatment on our previous house. We just bought a new house and needed to treat before we moved in. Joel and his whole team are amazing. Very thorough inspection and reasonable price for the service. They earned my repeat business with the first job and delivered again. I would recommend them to anyone in need!!

The technician came on time. He inspected the area of concern which was near our garden. He treated the area and took care of the termite problem. He also checked over the pergola for us to make sure it was okay as well as other areas. He spent about an hour going through everything and said this was the only problem he found. Since we had that work done in Sept 2016 they did this as a courtesy to us. Absolutely outstanding service. They explained everything and they're very personable. I'm extremely happy with the results. I've referred them to other friends because I think they are a great company. I'm glad I found them on Angie's List.

I made an appointment with the company and they didn't show. I called and they would apologize, set up another appointment but the technician once again didn't show up. This happened about four or five times before someone finally came to do the repair. They apologized once again and told me that the company was in the process of changing hands which is why there was so much confusion.

Excellent, very professional, courteous, helpful, punctual, reliable. Great company.

Fumigation is difficult, but Jack came out several times to help us prepare and to answer questions. Customer service was excellent.

The workers were good, but they tried to outsell me something I didn't need.

Company wanted the job and was in contact with me almost immediately to set up my house inspection and provide the quote. Provided complete information about what to expect and what would happen. Always available to answer questions in a timely fashion.

Technician showed up as planned and appeared professional. Used long pole with spike to find wood rot areas in eaves amongst other assessments. Advised he would send a report within 1-2 weeks. Never heard back. No 4 hours of service was provided and no report. Maybe they forgot.

Totally professional. Excellent customer service. The initial inspection was thorough, and honest and we decided to fumigate. The process went smoothly with very good communication. Post fumigation the site was re-inspected and some minor repairs were done. Great people. Reasonable prices. Top quality service. The five star reviews they appear to receive from everyone are totally justified. I wish all the contractors I worked with were as committed and helpful as Joes and his team

They were incredible. Their price was incredible. They were responsive in what they did. They went above and beyond, much more than I expected. They did a very professional job. It looked beautiful when they were finished.

I was impressed with Joel right away when he came out for the estimate. I didn't feel that I needed to get other estimates. He repaired some of the original work on the pergola that was never done correctly. He did the paint work as well. Joel is a firm believer in 100% customer satisfaction. There were 3 men total, and they were all very good. Joel was so conscientious about his work and made sure that his guys worked to his expectations. Thanks to Joel, we didn't have to tear down and replace the entire pergola. I would highly recommend Joel and the Handytech team for any termite work and damage repairs that you need done at your home.

It appears they have taken on more business than they could handle. I needed quick results. I made the mistake of pre-paying. When he returned my initial call he said he couldn't do the inspection for 2 weeks. I immediately asked for my money back. He proposed that he might be able to get to me in a few days if he could reschedule or cancel some other appointment. I agreed feeling I had already spent money that he seemed very reluctant to refund. Inspection was good. But the report was also slow in coming.

Fine came did inspection and gave written estimate of areas needing treatment.

Joel arrived on time and I could immediately tell he was as professional and personable as other reviewers have mentioned. He mostly took a look around the outside of my house to seek out any suspect areas of termite entry, but luckily the problem seemed limited to the small area that prompted my initial call. Joel tackled it right on the spot and reassured me this infestation was nothing to be too concerned about and would likely be solved in the one treatment. It was only about 10 days ago, but so far so good. I'm seeing the dying termites fall out of their tasty homes... Yuck! In a sea of otherwise hit or miss (mostly miss) experiences I've had with various services in Los Angeles, Joel/Handytech is a refreshing rare gem. From my first phone conversation with Mia, who was very kind and helpful, to the above and beyond attitude, spirit, and work ethic of Joel, a man who loves his job (and it shows), I felt completely taken care of at all times. It honestly felt like the universe finally gave me a break for once! I'm very grateful for the service I received. I would hire them again and recommend them to others in a heartbeat.

It went wonderfully, and I was relieved to learn that it was water damage, and not termites, that had produced the wood rot. The three workers were very careful in removing the window frame wood (it was very tricky, given that cement was overlapping the bottom of the wood that had to be removed). The remainder of the work was meticulously done, and they even did some additional painting and carpentry at no additional cost! Both Joel (who oversees each job) and the workers were very polite and professional and clearly cared a great deal about the quality of their work.

I met Joel about a year ago.  He's been to my house a few times over the last year.  He goes above and beyond in his service to his customers.  He was very thorough and noticed a leaking pipe coming from my air conditioning system.  I'm impressed by his passion and precision in diagnosing and helping me solve a problem that I had not even considered.  Had the leak gone unnoticed for a long time, it would have been a much bigger problem.  After several interactions with him, I feel that I can trust him in solving my home repair issues.  I highly recommend him.  

Company was upfront about options of local treatment vs fumigation.  Provided proposals for both that were fairly easy to follow. <br>Only difficulty was making appointment since scheduler was out due to health problems.  They came and did the work, <br>and seemed to do a fast efficient job.  I wish they indicated exactly what kind of paint I needed to supply, so I would have <br>purchased the correct paint.  I bought the house since the last painting was done.
