You would have to be careful of whatever you order. Make sure you're there when everything arrives to make sure you get what you ordered. If you're installing a roof, sit outside and make sure they put every layer on they're suppose to. They were suppose to put 3 layers of paper down before putting down the roof tiles. They said they did this, but if you go into our attic now - there are certain spots you can see the sky. We paid $8000 to have the roof done. I'm still getting debris falling in. They left nails in my grass. They didn't put down drop clothes when they were working.

We've used Hanson's for two different jobs no. They installed 25 windows in 2014 that we were very happy with so this past winter when we needed new gutters and a kitchen window, we of course thought of using Hanson's again. We knew they were a bit more expensive, but felt better with the service and guarantees they offer, paying more. I voiced some concern about possible water damage on the inside of a bay window we have from the gutters. The guy who sold us said the installers would look at it and if the little flat surface the gutter sits on needed some flashing or retarring they could do it and to bring it up with actual contractor. So when they came to install (which took two days since we have that many gutters and space) I reiterated to the contactor my concern. He said they would address it and after the job was finished, he told me that put some silver-something-er-rather up there to seal any water issue. Fast forward a few months, I contacted Hanson's because a shutter flew off and dented the gutter right above our garage door. When I was photographing the damage to send to Hanson's I noticed a weird area above our front door that also looked damaged. The weird thing was, there was no trees, or anything else near that part of the house to cause damage. When we went to fix the water damage inside above the bay window (which are Hanson's windows) our contractor said that there was still water coming in. He climb up to look above the window and you can tell that nothing was added to assure any leaks. He also took a picture of the gutter that had a weird defect. What I couldn't see shooting the picture from street level before is that the gutter and gutter guard are all rippling. When we reached out to Hanson's about this rippling, Dale Johnson tried to mansplain to me that the damage was caused by something else and my contractor doing interior work is probably just covering his own butt. So I had my husband call, and Dale told him if we paid for the damage from the actual shutter (which we were willing to do originally) then they would fix the rippling. What happened to the guarantee? The area with the rippling has had no damage! Dale tried to say it's from icicles. But if you look at the picture clearly, a gutter guard is shoved up under a shingle that now looks like it's buckling. What happened to "15 year labor and material guarantee gives you piece of mind that your investment will not go to waste". We spent nearly $40,000 with Hanson's in 2 years and still have 25 additional windows to replace. Guess we'll be looking somewhere else.

The salesperson was on time, did not waste my time, provided me enough information on the windows, and the price was very fair. I signed up on that day. They came out on the day they said they were going to and did the job in one day. The cleaned up. A year later, I had one problem with the trim and they came right out and fixed it and looked at all the other windows. You can call t hem just to inspect. I had a window that broke and I called them and they came out and replaced it. They showed up on time. I have been very happy after five years. They have a lifetime guarantee.

They did an excellent job. They did a good clean up.

Hansons did a great job with our siding. This was our third job with Hansons, and we will use them again. They were professional, courteous, and our house really looks great. We are getting a lot of compliments on the siding. I would recommend Hanson's to anyone looking to do new siding. <br />

From the first meeting everything went as promised. I selected the triple pane windows. They cost a little more but seem worth it. The crew did a nice installing and to my surprise cleaned up great.

It went very well - the installers were early and worked efficiently. They were also very courteous. <br />

Over all, it was an okay experience with Hansons. They need to work on better training their people that come out and measure the windows.  Of the 4 windows we had installed from them we had issues with one window.  It took almost 4 months to get the right size in.  The managers were very apologetic for the matter, and took full responsibiltiy of the issue.  They did also compensate us for the error.  <br />

We are in an older home and had 16' window (12 panes) and they leaked and not attractive.  We had Hansons come in and give us the information for a new doorwall.  The installer, Mike, was here at 8:45 and done (by himself) at 4:30!  Mike was very thorough in doing his job. He laid paper, plastic and took out the old windows, put up the new doorwall, two side windows and did the finishing work and then cleaned up. Fantastic is the results.  We love this new window.  Would recommend Hansons to everyone!  I'll have to agree with some of the comments that the salesman was not pushy but talked a lot..... although he did sell the product to us.  Yes, we would have them do more windows at a later time.  <br />

Biggest complaint with this company is their sales tactics which we knew ahead of time and did our research into what we would expect to pay.  The salesman didn't offer to leave a card, their negotiating process is crude and left you kind of wondering why I would want to work with the company.  Thank goodness I don't expect to have any business with them in the future.  Once we went past the sales portion everything else was excellent.  The product is good and the people that installed everything did a great job with no complaints.  Their service department called every day to make sure things went fine and they did. <br />

I find them to be very good.  Their price is very good and their contract is very good.  The things that stands out about my experience with them is that they are very friendly and they came up for their work.  If there is an issue, they will take care of it right away.  Even if it is three or down the road, they stand up for everything they do.  They stand up for all their products and to me that is important.   <br /> <br /> They are a little bit high on their price.  I think with bigger companies, it?s hard to get the correct department sometimes.

After having my windows replaced by Hansons in 2008, I decided to reach out to them again when I had roof problems.  I very specifically asked if the gutters could be taken care of at the same time, or at least plan for gutters to be attached after the roof was done.  I was told it would be no problem.  I was originally quoted a price of $6000 and told it could vary by a few hundred dollars depending on what the base roof looked like.  The day of the roof replacement, I got a call saying that it was going to be an additional $2000 to replace parts of the base.  I asked if it could be thoroughly documented because that was much more than I had been originally quoted.  I was told it would be no problem to document it.   <br /> At the end of the day, they "lost" the pictures they took of the base roof and could not prove why it had been an additional $2000.  They also installed the roof in such a way that I can not put gutters on my house.  They also caused my neighbor to get a flat tire by leaving so many nails out and about. <br /> When I called to inquire about getting a credit toward my account because of these problems, they literally laughed at me. <br />

First crew came out to install 2 windows and the order was not right.  Wanted picture window and kitchen window installed first as these were the 2 windows on the front of the house. Was not the crews fault so had them put both windows in anyway. Front picture window and window for the north side of house. The first crew DID A GOOD job took there time trim work was nice and used plenty of FOAM to seal windows,  wanted the same crew back to do the rest of my windows. BUT the company could not make that happen??? Why I don't know.  The other crew that came after were a bunch of hacks !!! cheap on the amount of foam they used on each window I asked why so little foam...and there answer was that's good enough!!! The person that put in the front and back door was a real JERK.  When he showed up and started the job I was watching him work and he told me the more I watch the slower he was going to WORK?? I own this home not him!!!..... if he would of said that before the front door was taken out I would of Threw him off my property...did not like his smart mouth at all.  But he did say he had 25 years experience. Door guy did not do a good job on my back door....after he left I seen light coming through the top of the door. All my windows were triple pane.....had 2 go bad with bad seals.....took them forever to fix them and respond.  Over all I wish I never would of spent my money with HANSONS <br />
