They did a great job. George and his team are perfectionists and I would definitely recommend them to do your deck. They are excellent.

My deck was built a couple of years ago, i have a LARGE tree that come through the deck. George (owner) informed me that after a few years the hole would have to be widened to accommodate the growth of the tree. I called last spring for that purpose and was told they were too busy and would do it in the Fall. I've called numerous times since then, Fall has came and went and no visit. In the pass few days i have called and texted George with my issues and i can't even get a reply back from him. Now i have to call another company to do the work and REPLACE PLANKS because they are starting to split. THANK YOU GEORGE FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!!!!!!

Harmony Decking was outstanding in every aspect of the job. The owner George was very honest and accommodating throughout the entire process. He worked with us in developing the final quote based on drawings we provided and adjusted throughout the process as we modified some of the specifications and materials. While he was unable to begin the project when we wanted due to his schedule, he set our expectations of a start date and met the date. The crew was very professional, pleasant, and consistent on daily arrival. George held his crew accountable for a superior quality of work and he personally had a incredible attention to detail. This held true even with a pre-stained wood ceiling from Synergy Wood that he had never installed before. He also provided recommendations and suggestions for subtle changes that added to beauty of the area. They set expectations for deliveries and the completion of certain phases. George and his team exceeded our expectations and provided a beautiful backyard retreat that we will enjoy for many years. I would highly recommend George Sowden and Harmony Decking for any outdoor deck project or area.

Harmony Decking completed a project including replacing the old deck and porch with TimberTech decks. George and his crew were very professional. We were very much impressed by their work ethic and honesty. Everything planned was done meticulously.

Very well, pleased with contractor.... BUT screened porch roof soffit broke loose over winter, because slat was too short. Contractor never showed up to fix it despite emails and phone calls. Had to pay a handyman to come repair it.

We met with three decking builders and George the owner of Harmony Decking was the first one. We immediately liked George, however, thought we needed to get two other quotes for comparison.  George got back to us with a quote the fastest and his price was just about the same as the second company we got a quote from.  The third company was substantially more expensive.  George took care of obtaining the permits so we did not have to worry with that.    I really can not say enough good about how pleased we were with the whole process.  George and his crew of really skilled deck builders worked through some tough weather, but, nothing slowed them down.  Our deck is more beautiful than we ever suspected it would be.  It is rectangular in shape with a small wrap around the side of our house and an octagon extension on the one end.  Every step of the process, Harmony Decking did with perfection.  George worked along with his crew just as hard as any of them.  Any changes or additions I requested during the process, were no problem for them.   Our friends and neighbors all agree that the quality of the workmanship is the best they have ever seen.  If you are building a deck, I can promise you, choosing Harmony Decking will not disappoint you.

After a lengthy delay with Lower Makefield Township with the permits George and the Harmony team got started and hit the ground running.  Demo was completed and the holes for the footings were almost completed in day 1.  After some morning work on day 2 the inspector came by to check the holes and commented to me "once I saw it was George/Harmony I almost just passed it without looking - they do the best work we see." (Made me feel good).  With the footing poured the work on the frame and then decking moved incredibly quick.  The workmanship was amazing and the crew was polite, considerate and engaging.  When the inspector came back for his final inspection he said "I almost did not get out and just passed it when I saw who it was, but I wanted to see the finished product and wow is it nice."  He then proceeded to rave about how much he liked what we did. <br /> The finished product is amazing.  Every single person who has seen it said it looks like it has always been there (they matched our siding and did a great job with finish details to achieve this).  They worked with us on finish details that they executed perfectly and we could not be happier and I would recommend George/Harmony to anyone and would definitely use them again. <br />

George and his crew were very responsive to our needs on adding a deck to our house using Timber-Tech before the summer in a busy time of year. I was impressed initially with the quote with a visual diagram of the deck using software with inputs from us with materials and size. He completed the paperwork to secure permits and worked with the township and understood their needs and impact on schedule.  Even when we changed our mind mid-project to enlarge the deck he worked with us to quickly address to meet our needs.  Its been over a year since the install and are very happy with the deck. Since it was an insurance claim, we received several quotes since the damage would cover multiple issues (tree removal, decking, siding).  During the quoting process, provider was responsive, helped to recommend alternatives, identified upgrades that were needed (from original deck work) to maintain code, and was clear about what work he would recommend versus what would not be necessary, which helped to build confidence in his recommendations.  His recommendations were consistent with some of the other contractors, but others did not offer the same degree of knowledgeably (they did however confirm the need for the issues recommended by Harmony, even if they did not initially recognize it).   Our insurance adjustor agreed with recommendations as proposed by provider. <br /> Harmony decking was slightly higher than the other quotes, but we chose to work with them anyway due to the quality of their work, recommendations and professionalism, and were happy with this choice.  They were very responsive, and willing to assist with some related materials to help make the process much easier for us (eg siding repair, powerwashing/cleanup). They were very helpful, with clear communication regarding any delays (eg, bad weather).  They were able to match materials, creating a great outcome.  We have been very satisfied with the quality of work, and their commitment to customer satisfaction.  We further appreciate their support in some of the ancillary services to the deck repair, which made the process much more convenient. We also took quotes for additional deck replacement/expansion, as we would be happy to use his services again in the future.   <br />

They were awesome. They were very professional and the price was competitive. They were friendly guys. Everything went as planned. The price was reasonable.

Harmony came in to install a second set of stairs on our existing deck.  They did a great job, completing the job in 1 day and a about an hour or two on the second day.  The stairs are very sturdy, and they look almost exactly like the existing ones (which we asked him to match as close as possible.   <br /> When it comes time for us to get the old trex decking replaced on our deck, we'll be calling harmony to do the job.  They were nice, easy to work with, polite, and performed work exactly to spec in a reasonable amount of time. <br />

We had them come out on April the 23. <br /> May 5 we got a quote and paid a deposit and signed the contract. <br /> May 28 we asked them about a permit. <br /> July 14 he said he talked to someone about a permit and asked us if we wanted one.  We said yes. <br /> (he said it has been a crazy summer but he get to us soon) <br /> August 21 he said he had a permit and would start soon we said we are here all the time ok. <br /> September 2 he started to work on the deck.  <br /> 5months after he said he would so instead of having our new deck this summer we have it in the fall and winter. <br /> September 20 I emailed him to tell him some parts of the railing were falling off and he said he was away but would get <br /> it fix the next week. <br /> October 21 I wrote an email and asked him if he would ever come over and fix the rail that he said he would over a month ago. <br /> He said he forgot and would send someone out (he has a crew - when he said he was away he still had crews that could have come over that very day I emailed him back on 20 September.) on October 23.  <br /> I am a home bound disable vet and it would have been nice to be able to spend some of the summer out on the deck.  Fall and <br /> winter are too cold.  Waiting for a 20+ thousdand dollar deck that I have saved for years to get just about took harmony decking years to do. <br /> I would never hire or recommend them or George the owner to anyone every! <br /> P.S. <br /> He tried to make it like the permit was what was holding everything up by saying things like "I finally got the permit."   Please <br /> I have had other work done that didn't take  months to get a permit and from the time he said he was getting a permit it was only 3 weeks according to what he wrote in the emails I got. <br /> Shame on him. <br /> <br /> <br />

George buit our 12X17ft deck and he was very professional. He first gave a quote and it was the most reasonable after getting multiple quotes. After signing the contract and giving deposite, he took care of getting the permit approval from township. He scheduled the days that he was going to come to built the deck and we didn't need to be at home on those days. He built the deck and contactact us meanwhile to check how it was and whether we were happy with product. Overall, we were very happy with our deck. The quality is also great compared to other decks I have seen. We were very pleased with the quality and the price for which we built our deck. I would highly recommend George. <br />

Overall we were impressed with George's prompt replies to all our inquiries and his excellent workmanship. We met with George to discuss the project and communicated via email. The contract was signed, the first deposit sent, and the permit was submitted in mid January. It took about a month for the permit to be approved and then the demolition work began mid-February when we submitted the second payment. The old deck was demolished, the site was cleared of all debris, and new footings were poured. The weather delayed the footings dry time by a couple of days. George and his assistant worked each day the weather was clear even on the coldest days and completed the deck by February 22. It is a beautiful, larger cedar deck with a new railing down the stairs and a self-closing gate at the top of the stairs. The workmanship is excellent. George and his assistant are friendly, courteous, and very humble when complimented on their skill.  We definitely recommend the Harmony Decking team and wish all our home renovations could go as smoothly and pleasantly as this one. <br />

At first, we were looking to just replace our old cedar deck with a new wood deck using the same footprint.  We contacted four companies.  George from Harmony was the only one to give us a quote for exactly what we were asking.  We needed a starting point, and he offered us a fair quote. We then started to look at upgrades and an expanded roof with screened-in porch. He addressed each issue patiently, researched materials and got back to us on a timely manner with ideas and quotes.  We started this process early May, by July we decided on the finished product.  George acquired the necessary township permits and began work in August.  He  and Ed showed up every work day promptly by 8 a.m.  They were respectful of my property, neat and organized with their materials, and cleaned up after each day's work.  He kept me informed as much as possible what they were hoping to accomplish each day.  They were diligent and conscientious in their workmanship which shows in the final product. The upper part of the deck is done, my husband and I are deciding how we want to finish the under skirting.  George is once again addressing our concerns.  I'm sure whatever we decide for the bottom portion, he will execute it to perfection.  We are thrilled with our new deck. <br />

After numerous failed attempts to locate someone to repair a damaged railing on our deck, George at Harmony Decking responded  and assessed the railing repair ,and at my request, developed potential options to improve the overall appearance of the structure. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various  directions we could take to improve the deck ,the materials involved, and the costs associated with each option. I was impressed with his direct approach and willingness to ensure a positive customer experience as I  expanded the scope of the work from a railing repair to a replacement and expansion of the original deck. George proposed accurate and reasonable estimates to complete the work, and was timely in executing the project. He led a very  professional team of skilled craftsmen who worked non stop through some difficult summer weather. Their final product exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend Harmony Decking to anyone considering deck repair or construction.
