Harrison Floors has been family owned and operated since 1948. We serve Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. We install and refinish over 750 floors per year. Our goal is to provide you excellent customer service and a professional hardwood floor job. We are fully insured and covered by workers comp. Harrison Floors was not only reasonably priced compared to our other quotes, they also stood out for listening to our needs and making suggestions that others hadn't-- suggestions that helped us avoid an inferior flooring product (for the rooms they did in vinyl flooring) and also better-conceal flaws in our flooring that they refinished. They met needs we didn't know we had. The work crew was on task every time I stopped by, and as a family business, there were no questionable sub-contractors involved. We are thrilled with the work they did, and recommend them highly.

Harrison did an amazing job and I absolutely would use them again as well as recommend them for any of your flooring needs. They worked with us on accommodating our timeline between projects, did an amazing job, were timely and professional. What we liked about Harrison is Brenton explained the differences between finishes as well as size of the hardwood and how it reacts to humidity when he came out and gave us our quote. Perfect. old floors looked like new and new floors matched perfectly with the older floors. On time, wasted no time getting started and finished on time. This is the second time i used Harrison and both times I was extremely satisfied.

Harrison floors did a wonderful job. They were very punctual, and were very good at describing what they were doing. The two employees were friendly, and very respectful of trying to keep the first floor as clean as it could be during the process. Our floors appeared to have never had anything done to maintain them (20 years old, previous owner had had a dog so a lot of scratches, water damage by the dishwasher), and I really can't believe how good they look now after being refinished. They look like brand new floors. We would definitely recommended Harrison Floors.

<p>We needed a crew to install a bamboo floor in our family room. The two men who showed up were professional and quick.</p> <p>They hung plastic between our family room and kitchen to minimize dust. After installation they explained the best way to care for our new bamboo floor. Since it was a small job and we were going to do all the prep work (pull up old carpeting and molding) they were able to fit us into an afternoon slot. Unfortunately the reason I gave a "B" for promptness was that they did not show up on he day promised. We finally got a call in the early evening explaining that the main installer had been extremely sick and the remaining crew wasn't able to get to our job that afternoon. This was understandable but we would have liked a call earlier to explain. To their credit they showed up early the next morning and got the job done fast. We would definitely use them again!</p> <br />

Harrison is a very professional company. From the beginning estimates to the actual work being performed, they were excellent and very knowledgeable. Everything was done in a timely fashion and the floors look wonderful. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job. <br />

While they were doing one of the upstairs rooms, the ceiling fan in the room below became loose and fell and broke -- they put up the new fan the next day.</li> </ul> <br />

It went very well, and I am satisfied with the job. They accommodated my preference for doing the job in two 3-day cycles since I didn't want to move the furniture downstairs. Workers were polite and friendly. I only have two small unfavorable comments: 1) it would have been nice if I had had an approximate arrival time for the workers for the next day; 2) they used duct tape to tape a dust barrier in the living room doorway, and the tape left an adhesive residue. <br />

The job was finished in three days. As i was out of town during the project, status updates and photos of the project were sent within a half hour of the request. The floors look beautiful and when a slight area of excess finish was noted they quickly retured and repaired it. All parties I was in contact with were courteous and professional throughout the job. <br />

"[removed member name] I am very frustrated with this review. Your floor had a severe slope. It dropped 3-1/2" over twelve feet. The slope was so severe that the house would not sell. I am frustrated because you submitted this review without even calling me about the issues you had. After speaking to you I am even more frustrated because you are upset about the caulking on the counter tops. We did this to help you out, you were not even billed for the thing you were upset about. We were able to remove your existing floor without damaging one piece. We re- installed that floor without you having to purchase any extra flooring. Here is the description verbatim from our Estimate & Invoice. 1. LABOR TO TEAR OUT EXISTING FLOORING & NUMBER, REMOVE CABINETS, AND WOODWORK, LEVEL EXISTING SUBFLOOR USING SLEEPERS AND SHIMS. REINSTALL FLOORING, CABINETS, AND WOODWORK. 2.LABOR TO STRAIGHTEN DOORWAY TO BACK ROOM At no point did we say we would caulk an woodwork or counter tops. We did this to help you out. I apologize that the caulk shrunk. But you were not billed for this. I am sorry you were upset about the caulking being shrunk, but I feel your review is unfair. Started when they said they would, even despite the weather. The one day they were delayed by weather, they called to say they would be there a little late. One of the most reliable companies out there. They worked hard, finished when they said they would and did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier. My floors were very wavy and uneven and now look beautiful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone I know. <br />

They did a wonderful job. You cannot tell that there was an existing floor and a newer floor. They refinished the old floor to make it identical to the new wood. I can't tell you how happy I am with the work and service. They did everything on schedule and as described to me beforehand. They were true professionals and I highly recommend their service! <br />
