Stay away! First of all, their communication is horrible...even before the sale. They never let me know exactly when they were coming to service my roof. They left a mess of moss they scraped off along with old cedar shakes, all around my home. Before I paid for the job I walked around to take a quick look, but was pressed for time, so wasn't quite thorough enough. The next day I took a closer look. There were still curled shakes that weren't replaced, many missing shakes and lots of shakes that rotted but weren't replaced. Some of the replaced shakes were sloppily tinted to match the existing shakes. They sprayed chevron sealer all over my skylights. Going to have to go up there and clean them. He wouldn't return my call. I asked him to let me know when he was coming. He never called me. He said his Dad stopped by to check it out and verything was fine. I then sent him a text telling him there were many more problems I wanted to discuss and show him. After multiple texts, without a response from him, I am writing this review. He quoted me thousands more in maintenance jobs while working on my roof...not a chance! I went up on the roof a few days ago. I noticed that many of the "repairs were superficially fixed. Meaning, just what I could see from the ground were made to appear fixed. Many nails missing. Just look at the pictures. What a joke. I'm only writing this to save someone else the potential hassle. I wish I would have hired the larger firm...might pay a little more, but it would have been worth it. Add

POOR-clean up was poor  we found nails everywhere including in two fairy new tires on two different cars.  Wish that was the end of it kept calling and left voice messages to get some remedy.  Tracked Harry down &  showed him tires with roofing nails.  He said sorry his uncle Harry will take care of it just send tire receipts to office.  I did and I have not received anything. <br /> The worst part is last night 12/14/15 my ROOF STARTED LEAKING.  I have called and left messages no response.  Now I have to pay for emergency roof repair to get roof fixed by a reliable contractor.  Joke is on me 5 year warranty- NO WAY <br /> PLEASE be very careful using this company the roof work is a scam and they are no where to be found when you have problems.  Also found out they are not licensed to do roof repairs in the state of Illinois.  I took Harry at his word when he said they were licensed and bonded.  Ignore that they are on Angies List -  it is buy themselves credibility and get customers. <br /> <br /> <br />

Harry Gorman came to my door asking if I needed repairs on my roof.  He gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate and arrived within one week to do the work. Unfortunately, he failed to do the work as contracted. He dropped off two non-English-speaking unsupervised laborers to do the work, one of whom stayed on the ground most of the time. They replaced some shingles but did not apply any preservative oil, did not clean the gutters, or repair the flashing. Indeed, they appear to have damaged the flashing, left shingles in the gutters and dropped nails on the ground. In some cases, they merely tacked shingles on top of the roof instead of tucking one under the other. Harry said he would come back to apply the oil, clean the gutters and finish the job with his father who would inspect the work done. He asked to be paid so he could pay the men. I foolishly withheld only $200, paid him the balance of $2200, and never heard from him again. He did not return my phone calls asking when he was coming back to finish the job. Beware of a little trick they play—once they get up on your roof they tell you that the concrete top on your chimney is cracked and needs to be repaired, which costs an extra $400 or so. I have doubts as to whether they actually repaired the concrete. This was a very disappointing experience. Harry was very polite and kept in touch by phone to tell me when they were coming each day but the fact remains that the work was not done satisfactorily or to completion.

It went great , they were very honest! When we walked around prior to the inspection, it was very obvious that nails that were company up and it was because it was dry. He was honest and told us and advised out what was causing this and the curling of the shingles. He didn't need to replace that many. A lot of other companies said we would need a whole new roof. However, this company was able to just fix the oiling and replaced some of the shingles.
