We received our first home visit by Marvin, a service technician from Hawx Smart Pest Control, and we were very pleased with the results. Marvin was very professional: called before arriving; met me at the front door to explain the services he would be providing today; asked if we had any specific service requirements or questions before starting; and meeting again at the front door to explain everything that he had accomplished during the call. All in all it was very complete, efficient, and professional. Great job.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Hawx Pest Control. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Firstly, their customer service is impeccable. When I called to inquire about their services, I was greeted warmly and all my questions were answered with clarity and patience. The representative took the time to understand my pest issues and recommended a tailored solution that fit my needs perfectly. Secondly, their technicians are true professionals. The technician who came to my home was punctual, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. He thoroughly inspected my property, identified the pest problem accurately, and explained the treatment plan in detail. It was evident that he was experienced and passionate about his work. Thirdly, the effectiveness of their pest control treatments is impressive. After just one treatment, I noticed a significant reduction in pests around my home. The products they use are clearly top-notch and their methods are both safe and environmentally friendly, which was important to me as a homeowner. Additionally, the pricing was fair and transparent. There were no hidden fees or surprises, and they worked with me to find a schedule that fit within my budget and timeline. Lastly, their commitment to customer satisfaction is outstanding. I would give them a negative star but it's not possible. They are good at calling and reminding you of a payment due but not so good at service. They are the worst pest control service I have ever used. They are supposed to come quarterly, yes if you call them. On one of the services they performed, they left white powder everywhere inside the house. We called them about it and they said we will make a note in your account. They told us we could clean it up. Another time we had a bee issue. We could not use our front door due to swarm. They couldn't come out for over a week. We called someone else they came out the next day. I would never recommend them to anyone. We told them to perform one more service and we would then pay them for that last service and then cancel our account with no other money due. They now send me a bill for the remaining months and a cancellation fee. They have a policy that the contract needs to be paid in full. Well, we have a policy you don't do work you don't get paid. So they want now to send me to collections. Since it's closed they cannot cancel it even though we agreed to part ways. They even have notes of this conversation. I Tried calling them about it and was transferred multiple times then finally got someone and we got disconnected. I waited a few minutes to see if they would call back, but of course, they didn't call back. I called back and a message answered to call back during business hours. It was the final rotten cherry on top. This is a horrible company to work with. I would stay far far away. It's funny that the Google reviews are mostly favorable but on other sites, they are very negative. I guess that's why you can't always trust Google reviews. I was happy to part ways and put it behind me as a lesson learned but now that they are trying to get more money, I'm pretty mad. They mentioned the contract not being fulfilled. Well, the funny thing is that a contract is a 2-way instrument. They broke the contract by not fulfilling the service. I usually do not write reviews but I'm hoping I can prevent this from happening to others.

My 23 year old daughter just lost her dad and reached out to Hawx to help with a pest issue in his home. They required a credit card to hold the appointment. Before the appointment date they charged her credit card $400. She cancelled the appointment and requested a refund due to unprofessional act of charging before showing up to do the work. They told her it would take 7-10 days to get her refund and sent an email saying her account was closed. After 11 working days, she reached out again to Hawx to find out that they had "credited her account". The one that was closed? Then advised her that it would take another 7-10 days to process her refund. Way to take advantage of a grieving young lady that barely had $400 to cover cost of the extermination even if the actually showed up and did something. I cannot imagine what else they would have charged her if it were going to cost her $400 to not show up. Make note their customer service is terrible as well.

Phillip was prompt, efficient and explained all the services being performed and answered any questions I had. He went right to work and followed up to se if I had any other questions. He was very pleasant and respectful.

Very courteous and was able to take care right away. Also gave me tips on reducing bugs around the property. I signed up with quarterly service now. I would recommend them to anyone.
