Had dealt with Eric's dad some years ago about a new roof and he convinced me to wait. Called again a few months ago and Eric responded with an assessment of the roof. He recommended we replace as opposed to a large repair. Approx. 4K sq. ft. 3 story home. Price was below our target price. When it came to work being done neighbors even responded with compliments of a job well done. Was told when they would be here. Completed job in one day. Cleaned up perfectly. Additional items I asked them to look at & possibly do (they did). Eric & his fathe Roy are listeners. Most appreciative of their attention to every detail. Also crew they used for the job were superb.

Eric and his team were A+. They came in significantly lower than the 3 other bids that we had, and the work that they did was top notch. His team was there bright and early and finished the entire roof (Cape with single level addition) in one day. The new roof looks great, and considering the amount of debris created, the clean-up was excellent. We would certainly hire again, and of course recommend them to others.

Process went very smoothly. The team showed up early, a little after 7AM and by the time I returned home a little after 5PM, they were gone and you would have never known the roof was replaced since there was no debris or anything. The new roof looks great, and I would definitely recommend them.

They arrived on time.  The job was done in one afternoon. They did a great job cleaning up.  Also the employees of Hazardville Roofing were very professional.   

They came quickly and gave an honest assessment of the entire gutter system in the perimeter. Gave me one thing to keep my eye on but didnt try and sell extra. next day 3 workers showed up and re-pitched the gutter so that it flows and no longer leaks over my front walk which was a critical fix before snow and ice. Fast and competent service. I will call them when I need my roof done. <br />

Eric was without a doubt the best contractor I have used in the past ten years. Hazardville Roofing showed up on time, were quick and efficient, and did a better job than I expected! I highly recommend them to all my friends. The specifics of the job were; <br /> Removed old shingles, flashing, and drip edging. <br /> Installed ice dam layer to 6' <br /> Installed "breathable" underlayment <br /> Installed new shingles <br /> Formed and installed new flashing around chimney, vents, and dormers. <br /> Installed ridge vent soffit vents <br /> Fixed leaking dormer <br /> Hauled away all trash... they even hauled away some of my old RR ties. <br /> I am a retired contractor and have been around the trades since the 1960's so I was very attentive to what the crew was doing throughout the entire job. All work was done to specification. The amazing thing is that the job was finished in one day! It was neat, straight lines, drip edging neatly tacked up, and all the debris was thoroughly removed from site. You may find a roofer that is just as good as Hazardville, but you wont find one that is better. <br />

Eric and all his workers from Hazardville Roofing Co. are an incredible group of hard-working men.  Hazardville Roofing had been recommended by someone we trust and whose opinion we value. Eric responded to our call, set up an appointment to come by on April 16, and seer 23 year old roof.  The supplies were delivered within a few days and we were notified that the men would be at our home on April 24.  At 7:00am five workers plus Eric showed up and, except for a 15 minute lunch break, worked until 5:30pm.  It was a dry but cold and windy day and my husband and I were amazed by their work ethic. We have a small cape and the job was completed in one day, including installing a new gutter along the back of the house. I was concerned about my flower beds around the house, as the bulb plants were just beginning to appear. But I was impressed how carefully they removed the old shingles from the roof and installed the new ones. Something else that impressed us that how thoroughly the men cleaned up the area around the house. I have never seen such hard working men. 5 plus stars to Hazardville Roofing Co. <br />

<p>At original consultation Eric immediately went onto our roof to check out what needed to be done. (I met with 5/6 companies to get the right fit and feel, 3 did not even go to roof ?)</p> <p>Eric wasn't so much a sales person, but a person who does roof/gutter installations.I didn't get that hard sell feel, and this is what really set him/them apart.  I had done some prior research and he considered all that needed to be done and conveyed the details to me.  Things I was fuzzy (which was several things as I had never bought a roof before)  on he clarified.  </p> <p>The contract was emailed promptly, on 12/8th...the service date was 12/19th.  </p> <p>The morning of, crew arrived at 7/715am and they were very courteous (great personalities). They knocked to let us know they were there, and as someone else noted in their review they asked if we needed to move our car from garage. They set to work at 8am, we returned at 3/330 pm and they were cleaning up (a material setup to form a shoot from the roof to the dumpster was used to funnel the debris, and this helped keep everything neat and easier to cleanup in the end). Since we were having our holiday party the next day, I called Eric that am to inquire about the dumpster, which he thought would be picked up on Monday, as the dumpster company wasn't open on Saturdays. He made sure they came Friday afternoon, and removed the dumpster even before we returned at 3/330pm, what great customer service! .  </p> <p>I didn't get the pleasure to meet Roy, but it was a pleasure to talk with him on the phone. </p> <p>We received a 4-Star coverage warranty, it was suppose to arrive in 2 weeks, approx. That should have been around the 1st of the new year. I contacted Roy 1/25th (giving them 4-6 weeks a reasonable amount of time for paperwork to be processed) and Roy  replied the very next day noting he had contacted CertainTeed, and the warranty should arrive no later than middle of Feb. It arrived on 2/9th.  Normally this doesn't happen, but encase you hire them, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, should the warranty try to pull a Houdini, just let Roy know and he'll find it. </p> <p>Thanks again for our beautiful new roof. </p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Everything was excellent. On time, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. There are very few companies I would let on my property without being there but they are one of them.

I continue to use and refer Hazardville Roofing for my projects around my house.  They have replaced nearly all the gutters around my house, installed new ones and have also roofed my garage.  The recent work included new gutter system around my wrap around porch as well as additional gutters coming off my slate roof 30+ feet up.   Highly recommend this company to use. <br />

All of our conversations were done by phone and calls were returned promptly.  I was working but Ron drove to the house to do the estimate, called with a proposal, e-mailed the cost and contract. I returned the contract with a deposit and the next day I arrived home from work to find pallets of shingles had been delivered.  Ron called a few days later and to say  they could start the next day.  <br /> They arrived at 7 am, a crew of 6 and the boss and considerately knocked on the door to see if cars needed to be moved out of the garage before they started. <br /> The totally wrapped the house and used the wrapping as a chute to catch the old roof as they removed it.  I left at nine and returned home later in the afternoon - to a completely replaced roof and a clean yard, all debris had been removed.  Other than having a new roof, it was as if they weren't there. <br /> I did not get the Angies list member discount, even though I mentioned it, but, other than that, everything went great.   I would hire them again and would definitely recommend them. <br />

March 29, 2014 we had 4-5 inches of rain and noticed sheetrock wall had bubbles in it. I poked a hole in bubble and water came out. Cut out 3x5 section of wall and saw water was slowly running down inside of wall in three spots along where wall meets ceiling. Found a hole in siding about leak and patched it. Worked through insurance following week and they covered all repairs inside house ( minus my deductible of course).  I didn't repair sheetrock and a week later we had another bad rain storm and wall started leaking again. Called insurance and they don't cover workmanship issues ( room was built 13 years earlier and contractor was no where to be found). I looked on Angies list and gave Hazardville Roofing a call and Roy scheduled Eric to check it out at a time convenient for both of us. Eric showed up on time and did a thorough checkout of roof. He had to come back a second time because it was to cold to pull down siding for fear it might crack. He came back a week later or two later when the weather was warmer and again he was on time. He found a problem with the water and ice barrier and recommended replacing it. Called me back a day or so later with an estimate of $650 to repair the problem He said it would take about 2-3 hours. He came back at the scheduled time and repaired the leak and also noticed a few shingles sticking up around the chimney so he repaired those as well.  Eric and his helper did a great job. They replaced the broken siding piece and replaced the ice and water barrier along with some shingles. They were very professional and kept in the loop the entire time. I offered to clean up some of the mess but they wouldn't have it as they felt it was their job. They completed all the work on time and for the $650 they quoted. I would highly recommend this family run business. I plan to bring them back in 2-3 years to redo the entire roof on my home and 3 out buildings.

They came out within 3 days to evaluate what I needed and had the estimate the same day. I contacted them and  proceeded with the project. They came in the morning and completed the project by the end of the day. They corrected the down spout placements and replaced the roof. They cleaned up areas and I had no other clean up to do. It poured the next day and there were no issues. with the gutters or the garage roof. I will use them again when it is time to replace the roof on the house. <br />

I got estimates from 4 roofers and they gave the best price and seemed to be the most honest. No frills, no gimmicks. Just a good job at a good price. Everything went nice and smooth before, during, and after the roof was done. When i came home after the roof was done I would have never known they were even here. The landscaping and perimeter of house was not harmed in anyway.

Noticed wet spots on the ceiling of our guest bedroom during rain in the evening.  Called Hazardville Roofing in the morning based on their excellent reviews.  Roy contacted Eric who was in my area and was able to come down the same day.  Eric checked out the area of the roof and noticed a popped nail.  He fixed the nail, caulked around it, and while he was up there said he might as well caulk potential problem spots all over the roof.  He didn't charge me anything. He was straightforward, honest, and answered all of my questions.  Also told me that I still have a good five years left on the roof.  I would definitely call them again (and I might need to if the popped nail was not the cause of the leak!). <br />
