After I had six trees cut down in my yard, the result was I had more sunlight but the yard looked horrible. I called Heavenly and Handy for an estimate. First the name grabbed my attention, second there were many positive reviews. The owner Chris responded and was able to come out to see my yard. Chris was very professional and detailed. He also had many great ideas in “healing” my yard. Once I decided to get work done, he provided me with a very reasonable price. The payment plan was a little different but Chris explained how it works for the company. After supplies were delivered Chris and crew went to work. It was a different yard. With Chris’s vision I will definitely be going forward with other projects. Thank you Heavenly and Handy for giving me that BBQ feeling again.

Chris Barnes and Team did a PHENOMENAL job redesigning my entire landscape. I had an idea of what I wanted, but Chris and Darius took my rough ideas and transformed them into a beautiful, serene landscape beyond my imagination!! They were very thorough, made several walk through to ensure we were all on the same page and their designs captured all my needs abd MORE!! Concrete team worked long hours in cold temperatures to ensure foundation for concrete was solid and safe, created design for steps to go onto backyard and basement. Great space for lounge chairs and firepit. All trees and bushes pruned and treated for winter. Weed lining laid down in all beds, plants re-arranged, streamlined and to enhance colour effect. Dedicated space created for Memorial garden in honor of my elders who have gone home to rest. Heavy mulching, design created at base of backyard around trees, beautiful stones to highlight garden beds. Equipment installed to move water from drainspouts to lake and away from house or eroding sod.. Crews came on time, worked consistently, Darius asked for my input as they made progress. I am AMAZED and Thankful. Working on next phase of solar lights and water feature fir Memorial Garden. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Kind of slow getting started with the job and once they did had some misunderstanding and disagreements the driveway was terrible but he redid it now the drive way look very nice. Great job.

Heavenly and Handy LLC were amazing! Mr Barnes were very professional and had a vision for my yard the moment he saw it. He is such a gifted young businessman with superb landscaping skills. His crew arrived at the appointed time, and completed the project within three days which had been determined. The finished project is beautiful! I have gotten so many compliments! I will continue to use Heavenly and Handy for all of my landscaping needs. Thanks Mr Barnes, job well done!!

Great ideas. Poor execution even worse budgeting for work. We were given a quote of what it would cost for materials and labor for our backyard design. On several occasions Mr. Handy stated he had run out of money and needed more. We accommodated him and were very patient when the length of time for work to be completed ran beyond. Yes, there were rain days, but only once did Mr. Handy make arrangements to make up for them. In the end we, were left with trash, equipment and nails lying in our back lawn. And as recent as last week (8/4), a promise was made by one of Mr. Handy's employees, that he would finish the work and clean up what they'd left behind. A week later, he has not returned. We now have an incomplete project and are disappointed that we are unable to give positive feedback or recommend Heavenly & Handy LLC to anyone else.

Chris is a great sales person whom over promised and under delivered. Patio was built unevenly cause water settlement, major trip hazard, parts of the patio moves when you walk. Certified inspector reviewed the project and recommended that the patio is fixed by a qualified contractor. Retaining wall was done without cross beam support, not sturdy. Chris took us for $6,000K deposit and refused to complete the work due to asking him to correct the errors. Customer Satisfaction NOT guaranteed. Blame the customer vs. taking ownership. When I mentioned to him to complete the project or I will be forced to take legal action, he pointed out that court cases can take a long time. No worries! I have patience. Small Claim Filing on the way.

However, not only were many things in your review not true, we believe you may have omitted some information as well. To start, our policy has always been; honesty and transparency before beginning each project to each customer. With your job, being one of the smaller and inexpensive ones this policy is no different. We explained, prior to us beginning your job you needed SEVERAL things completed. However, you were very eager to complete the patio and did not take our professional and experienced advice. Before any of our work had begun you agreed to us completing your patio, even after the caution that we gave you of the work that needed to be completed. We were then pushed back due to weather, however we worked earnestly and diligently to complete your project. While working on your property , you decided to gain knowledge from a YouTube video and call another contractor out to analyze our work. He stated that our foundation was faulty. This confirmed what we had already told you prior to starting your project. We asked for his information, which you refused to give. Then we went in the company's funds in order to complete your project because you refused to continue paying the agreed upon amount. Ultimately, you decided to discontinue with us, and threated us when we needed to get our material off your property. I don't believe you included this part in your review. I believe in the end, You may have been the one to over promise. To yourself and your family. This may have come out of being eager for us to start. Im sure you had the knowledge that you probably did not have the funds to start this project CORRECTLY, from the beginning. Ultimately you ended up costing us money and have refused to pay the remaining balance. We appreciate your feedback, however your eagerness may have gotten the best of you. We do hope that you listen to next contractors advice , as you didn't listen to ours and you save him the headache. Kindest Regards."

The initial build wasn't what we discussed before, but the owner adjusted it to fit my expectation. However, I paid an extra 400.00 to trim my trees and they didn't have a lift to get the top of the trees to increase sunlight to the area, which is still shaded most of the day. The worker only cut the limbs that could be reached with a ladder. Had I known this I would have hired another company to trim the trees. Hopefully new plants will get enough sunlight to survive. Secondly, we discussed at length sprucing up an area that had been effected by erosion and had exposed tree roots and mud. The final results left this area the same and I will have to tend to it myself or hire another company. Overall, I'm pleased with the way the walkway and flowerbed turned out, but I wanted this to be the final stage, but there's still more work to be done.

Chris and his team did an amazing job. I’ve enjoyed my backyard more in the past week than I have in the three years I’ve lived here. I love and finally feel comfortable in my backyard now. Without hesitation, I will call Heavenly and Handy for all my future landscaping needs. In fact, I have already booked them for another job this week.

They build a very beautiful feature in the center of my yard build another wall across the front of my house with plants in it and another flower bed in front of the porch with rocks and plants very beautiful and on the side of my house I have more rocks going down to the backyard beautiful. Now all my neighbors want them to do work for them I am very pleased with the work they did it.
