"We sincerely apologize for the bad the experience you had. We are aware you had used our service in the past for your washer repair which was successful. Unfortunately your dryer had two problems and there was no way to foresee the second one. In the initial diagnostic the control board was at fault as it would not send power to the gas valve coils. With the new control board installed, we tested the dryer, the spark that you mention came from the gas valve coils, not the gas line which had no issues. The spark was caused by an intermittent short in the gas valve coils, that short led to the failure of the new installed control board, same thing had happened to the original one. We gave you the price for a new gas valve with no additional labor cost and you decided not to do the repair. In the end we did not charge you anything. We are sorry for this whole situation."
