Central A/C - Service or Repair
They came out and did a wonderful job! I would hire them again to come out and fix my unit. They were efficient, professional, and explained everything to me. I will use them for my AC and furnace moving forward!

Nuts About Comfort was great to work with. When we called in Ron was able to get use scheduled quickly. The technician arrived at our residence and was able to diagnose the issue. It was extremely convenient that they had their truck stocked with the part we needed so that way we could be comfortable! 10/10 would recommend Nuts About Comfort

First of all, it was too high of a price, and it froze up twice and they had to come back twice. I was not real happy, but it's working now. There was nothing I liked or disliked, it was just a brand new air conditioner and it froze up twice. When the heat hit, it was warm.

The charges are the main issue. The first thing is the labor rate, for eight minutes of labor it was $139.42, which included the trip charge of $55.42. The main complaint is the part which is 022326 York Coleman flame sensor, which the total part sale of $167.47. When I checked the part prices elsewhere it ranged from $20-$40. When I confronted him about this, he told me he said he had to pay a middle man for the warehouse fees. He then told me he was not the highest priced company. They told me they would send back the service charge for $55.42. We will see if this will happen. I thought he might offer to lower the price on the part since he could not come up with a logical explanation of the price increase.

The old green monster (Niagara)gave up the ghost after many yrs of faithful serviceon one of the coldest days. Called a few heating services but they were the first to respond and supply an Eta. Service arrived when expected and diagnosed problem but because of the age no parts available. Was able to bandaid the problem so had heatSalesperson arrived that night during a snowstorm so I could get the replacement the next day. Installation techs arrived next day. Can't say enough about Jeff and Eddie--was not an easy job to remove that old cast iron furnace and the cement pedestal. Explained the new furnace and thermostat. Very professional and left the basement cleaner than how they found it. As this was an urgent situation did not have the luxury of investigating costs but I feel that the price was fair for all the labor involved.
I've had Ron and his crew service my heating and air conditioning equipment for many years now and trust them without hesitation. They let me know a couple of years in advance the condition of my equipment and when I would need to think about replacing them. When the time came, I had them replace and install both my air conditioner and furnace. They have been fantastic to deal with. When I have needed emergency service in the past because of a cranky a/c, they were there to fix it within hours. I refer them to everyone I know in their service area that needs a great reliable source for HVAC.

I highly recommend Ron and Hey Neighbor, LLC

The job went good. It was two of them, they were in, and I had my furnace back on in two hours. They were very friendly. It was nice to have them come out here.

He was a little snotty when I asked questions. He really didn't want me in the basement watching him. Like I said, he was here less than 30 minutes and really told me nothing except it "looked good" and would be $69.95. He was on time (between 12 and 3) and called when he was 15 minutes out. I liked the advance notice. He was nice to my dog. (I am reaching for positives.)

the tech arrived early but had a morbid attitude, he used the side cover off the heat pump to kneel on and bent it. He tested the low voltage side and said he needed to see the furnace, when i said it was in the attic he almost snapped at me "well i gotta see it anyway". after a lot of complaining about the installer of the system and a half hour in the attic he came back down and went outside again. He then performed a pressure check and said it only had 3.9 pounds of pressure and it should have 110psi. he called the office and then wrote me an estimate for 3762.00 to 3950.00 depending on the system installed. My current heat pump is still under warranty but he said parts are no longer available. After he left I called his office to ask why he didn't do a pressure check and they didn't know but would have him call me. I called the dealer and they said parts are readily available. He called and left a message saying he could do a psi check but it would cost 199.00 (and more time off for me to be here). The company said they are a 100% satisfaction guarantee co. and would refund my money, but only 45.00 of the 55.42 I payed them, thats not 100%

Kenny was very nice. They had a hard time because it was when all the snow hit and my furnace had gone out. They had to order a part but managed to do something to keep the furnace running until the part was delivered.
