H&H is very competent and prompt. He does quality work and communicates very well.

Bathroom remodel. Work was finished. Paid for. Stuff started breaking, e.g. tiles and grout. Water Leaks because of workmanship issue. Promised he'd show-up to address. Failed to show up when promised. Tried by phone and email to contact. Never called back. So much for a promised two year warranty and quality work which he stands behind.

Stephen was a pleasure to work with. He's not a handyman, he's a craftsman. He's old school and understands how to do things correctly. He came over on a Sunday, took a look at the job, and explained the intricacies of refinishing our stairs (the house is from the late 1800's and some of the steps were VERY worn. He knew how to approach the job, set expectations for us, and was even able to strip the painted parts of the railing and refinish them. I HIGHLY recommend Stephen's work, and he's also a great person to chat with!

Stephen was great to work with. He responded promptly to my request for an estimate, came onsite to review the project, and to discuss various options. He provide an accurate estimate, and timeline for when he could start the job. Stephen worked hard to help us complete the project in time even when mother nature was less than cooperative. I would definitely recommend him, and would hire him again for future projects.

After a few scheduling hiccups, Steve did a fantastic job removing our mold-covered bathroom ceiling and replacing the ceiling fan. He also installed a new light fixture, tore out an old cabinet and replaced it with a wire shelving system I’d purchased in our half bath/laundry. Couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work or the price.

Stephen was amazing to work with. He came over and walked the site with me. We discussed the job and came up with a game plan. Within a day, he sent along a very fairly priced quote to pull apart the existing front/back decks, and install composite decking/rails/stairs on the existing deck framing. Stephen started exactly when he said he would and got right to work. I checked in each day to make sure everything was going as planned, and discussed anything that he discovered along the way. He is also extremely flexible...I asked if we could change things up a bit, and instead of replacing the 2 existing set of narrow stairs, I asked if we could build a wider set of stairs in a location that didn't have stairs before. This was not a problem for Stephen...we discussed what it would look like, and I was thrilled with the way the new set of stairs came out. I requested a few add-ons while the job was going on (stairs and other minor modifications) and the additional cost was more than fair.....no taking advantage of you once everything is torn apart....just fair honest pricing and excellent communication. The finished product looks amazing and the job site was left clean after Stephen pulled all of his equipment off the site. I can not recommend Stephen enough --- if you're in need of a carpenter for a job, be sure you send Stephen a message...you'll be glad you did!

Steve built a bunk bed and installed a clothes rack under an existing bunk bed for us. Exceptional work and both projects were finished in a timely manner and he was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely contact him for any other projects we have.

Great! I set up a meeting with Steve to discuss my kitchen project.At the time I only had a few ideas of what I wanted.Steve filled in the blanks and now I have an incredible,modern kitchen that I never could have invisioned .Steve was very easy to work with and I highly recommend him. I will post pictures soon.

Stephen was very responsive and easy to work with. He installed tiles in our family room. He was clean and completed the work on time. The room looks fantastic. We would hire him again in a heart beat!
