Unfortunately, we never could schedule a date before year end due both his and now my work related travel priorities. I began to try and contact Nick both through the Angie site and finally thru email this summer with NO RESPONSE in withe case. <br /> I see on the Angie page under the reviews for H&H that I am not the only customer whop has experienced this AND that there <br /> is potentially some dispute between H&H and Angie's List over this 'deal' and the their relationship. This may explain why Nick has not responded to any follow-up attempts on my part both using Angie List messages or my personal email. <br /> Should be interesting to see what if anything Angie's team will do about this, as it will certainly impact my decision to maintain membership or not.

Nick was late to our first appt, but he rescheduled his next day to accommodate me first thing.  He asked me what I wanted to do and thoroughly explained everything he would need to do to complete the job and made nice recommendations.  On the first floor he had to cut out pieces of dry wall to be able to run wire because there was no existing fixture.  It was very cleanly done w/ minimal cut ins.  Though they don't do drywall repair they put the cut out pieces back in place so there weren't holes in the ceiling and wall.  The 2nd story fixtures they were able to install with no intrusion.   <br /> They even checked and changed a couple lights out in the kitchen at no extra cost.  They worked very cleanly and were friendly and professional and their price was very fair and competitive.  I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future. <br />

<p>Nick and an assistant came to the house as arranged and identified the breakers in the main and two in house breaker panels.<br /> <br /></p> <p>They seemed to do a thorough job of that, recorded the data for spreadsheets and promised to produce and send the labels and spreadsheets. Apparently I was expected to install them, although I had assumed they would do so to ensure they were correctly attached.</p> <p>That was the last I heard from them!</p> <p>I called and emailed the office more than once and was told by the very pleasant person I spoke with that the company was extremely busy, but the labels would be sent right away.</p> <p> That did not happen. </p> <p>On my last attempt (last month) to contact them, I mentioned that I had not evaluated them for Angie's List, because it would be a bad review. I was trying to give them a chance to avoid a bad review. I did not receive any reply to that contact.</p> <p>I give up. H & H apparently does not intend to finish the job. A very bad deal.</p> <br />

Nick was great.  I phoned him in the morning and even though they are tremendously busy this time of year he and another fellow went out of their way and came by around 5:30 PM to fix my wiring.  I had checked other electricians but all were so busy they couldn't do anything before the 24th of Dec. or so.  He is very personable and professional and got the job done in less than an hour.  It really pays to know what you are doing because I didn't have a clue with this wiring problem. <br />

It was very fast, two person crew to 'label' the electrical box outside.  They did not literally label the breakers but sent a spreedsheet with rough names of areas each breaker controlled.  My house is pretty old and has many updates so I'm not sure if the labels are detailed enough to completely rely on if I attempt my own work.  <br />

Nick (owner) and his son arrived promptly for my appointment. They were quick, efficient, and responsive. They also e-mailed me with an Excel spreadsheet of the diagnosis for the house. Their prices seem reasonable. Will probably contact them in the future to install ceiling fans upstairs. <br />

They were very responsive and they came quickly. They suggested some other improvements I could make which worked out very well in terms of lighting. I was very pleased with their work. He did quite a lot of work. It went very well and it was a good experience. It could be expensive.

The electricians showed up on time and were ready to start the job.  Everything was completed in about 1.5 hours.  Any mess made was cleaned up by the workers.  Nick came by to inspect the work and give his seal of approval.  As a side note I've never gotten estimates from Nick which seems foolish but have always been very satisfied with the cost. <br />

I was having problem of breaker tripping every time I used microwave and toaster at same time.  I heard of H&H from a friend who had work done by this company.  I found their listing on Angie's list and was impressed by the reviews.  I called and talked to owner Nick and he offered to check out my electrical issue with no charge and let me know if it was something that I could resolve or if it required electrical work and that he would give me estimate.  Nick came to my house that day and found that I needed dedicated circuit for my microwave.  I asked for estimate for installation of outside motion detector light and "can" lights in kitchen and front room, in addition to circuit for kitchen.   I found the estimate reasonable and scheduled work. <br /> Nick and his crew scheduled my project later that week and would have done work a day earlier if I didn't have prior commitments.  Nick and his crew arrived 10 minutes early (something that I haven't experienced often) and completed work and cleanup by 4p.m. <br />  From our first meeting, I felt very comfortable with Nick and equally with his crew when they arrived for work.  The were polite and friendly but very professional.  Nick would seek my approval on every step of the work and answered any questions that I had.  The quality of the completed work was beyond my expectations and the cleanup left my house in better condition than before the work began.  I would definitely recommend this company and will used them for any future electrical work that I cannot do myself. <br />

We contacted Nick at H & H electric for a bid and he was able to come to our home within a day (50 miles from Sacramento) to provide a bid.  He provided options, discussed pricing for each phase of the job and provided a detailed bid.   He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with and patient answering our questions.   His bid was not the lowest we received, but it was the most comprehensive and provided the best options for our needs.   Once we signed the contract, he brought his lead electrician to our home to further discuss layout of the new lighting fixtures and within 3 days they arrived to complete the 2 day job.  His employees were very conscientious and competent and proceeded to do the job, taking all precautions to protect our kitchen and family room where the work was being done.   The overall job results are fantastic.  The under cabinet LED lighting could not be better and, when combined with  the other new fixtures and upgrades, brings our kitchen into style and functionality.  <br /> <br />

Service person explained all and gave me visual access to all he was doing.  Advised on upkeep, bulbs, outlets, lots I already knew but did add 1/3 I did not know or understand. <br />

Work went as well as possible in my opinion. <br />

Although I was not on site (property at the time was a rental), Nick from H&H Electric arrived as promised, removed and replaced defective circuit breakers that kept tripping not due to an overload.  In addition, Nick went the extra mile and replaced other breakers in the panel at no extra charge.  Finally Nick tested and confirmed panel in working order. <br />

I appreciated their professionalism all the way around. The office was very helpful over the phone and worked around my schedule. The electrician that came out was very professional. Great communication, we discussed what needed to be done and he had the job completed quickly without any disruption in our home. We are pleased with the work and will use this company again in the near future. Great job.!!! <br />

My mom lost power Sunday night. Monday morning I called H & H at about 9am, they were at my moms by 9:30am. The gentleman had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Nice job!

Everything went very well.  They checked out the situation, got to work, finished when they said they would, and cleaned up.  Nick quoted a fair price and explained what I needed to know.  Nick has picked up the phone just about every time I've called him (he's returned lately to do another small job).  He seems to be pretty busy, but he's been able to meet my schedule.  Recommended.

They were very effecient. They protected my table and cleaned up after installation.They made sure I was satisfied before they left.

the company was very prompt in getting back to us and setting up appointment.   they were on time and very friendly and efficient with the project.  we bought our house a few years ago after it was remodeled and for some reason the one outlet was never fully wired.  the job was supposedly not that hard to finish but it required the electrician to crawl under the house.  it is a small space but doable.  however i found after several phone calls and actually having an electrician out that getting someone to go under the house is not as easy as you would think.  but joel was great.  would highly recommend this company.  

I would highly recommend H&H Electric to any homeowner or commercial business in need of ANY and ALL electrical problems!   In addition, not only the owner, but his employees, were exceptional, not only in their work but in their answering any and all questions we had regarding the issue(s).  They are very informative, and up to date with their knowledge. I would also add that they demonstrated the utmost respect for us as senior citizens.  As to their prices, they are more than fair for the service they provide.  

My husband telephoned them on a Tuesday, they came on Wednesday, 6/1/11, and it took approximately 1/2 hour to do all of the work.  They had to go and purchase one part.
