Landscape - Install Landscaping for Yard or Garden
I hired H&H Landscape Management to do my lawn work this year. They did a great job cleaning up the yard and putting down mulch. I also asked them to fill in a low area at the back of my property and seed all bare spots. I have used them for winter snowplowing and they built a beautiful stone wall at the back of my yard a couple of years ago. Their prices are about 50%-75% higher than other landscapers/plow companies that I have used over the years, but they provide consistently great work and are reliable. Lauren and/or Justin always respond to my calls or emails which has generally been an issue with other contractors. I would recommend them for any landscaping projects you have.

S&V, West Newton, MA We hired H&H to do a renovation of our yard in Newton. The scope included a new sod front lawn, a new little foundation bed in the backyard, and ornamental pruning, bed prep, and mulching throughout. H&H also coordinated and managed the installation of a new irrigation system. From their initial contact with us to the end of all work, H&H remained extremely communicative with us. They provided us with several options for services so that we could choose one that best fit our budget and needs and we really felt like every person on their crew and their irrigation subcontractor were there to do the best possible job for us. We are very pleased with the results! We look forward to using H&H for our future landscaping projects and would absolutely recommend them!

H&H designed a new playground space for my daycare center in Medway, MA, transforming a previously rundown playground into a high-quality outdoor gross motor learning area. The space is now used throughout the day as a natural learning environment that supports child development. H&H was an excellent team to work with and remained highly involved throughout the entire project, ensuring a smooth and well-organized process. Their scope of work included demolition of the existing playground, construction of the new space, and coordination through final approval by the state licenser. I would highly recommend H&H for any project. The owner, Justin, demonstrated a high level of professionalism and managed the project efficiently to ensure all work was completed in a timely manner. I cannot say enough nice things about this company! They show up when they say they are going, you ask for certain things to get done and they follow through with it. Lauren is an angel when it comes to communicating/billing and Justin and his crew are wizards! I love driving down my street to my home at the end of the day and immediately noticing how great my yard looks and saying ohh the landscapers were here! I highly recommend H&H Landscape!

H&H has been doing our plowing/snow removal for several years. When I first reached out to Justin with questions, I was impressed with how articulate, professional, and personable he was. I knew he was a young man because he had gone to Natick high around the same time as my children, so I was doubly impressed. That has not changed over the years, though most of my communications now are with Lauren, who is impressive in her own right! I don’t live here during the winter, but I rely on Justin and his team to take care of plowing and shoveling our walkways as usual. It’s always been perfect. I should mention that our driveway is not easy as it’s on a hill and snow must be dragged to the bottom. Plus the rock wall on the side means it’s impossible to plow completely and must be finished with a shovel at the garage bays. Not an easy assignment, but as I said, it’s always perfect!

H&H Landscape completed saved me, twice!! I contacted them once I realized I needed a yard clean up basically the next day due to Easter, and then again a week later when I realized I needed mulch and garden bed care for some real estate photos. Both times the owner Justin came right away, and then I was able to schedule everything seamlessly through the office with Lauren. Everyone was so responsive and easy to work with, and the actual crews that showed up to do the work could not have been nicer. And they did a phenomenal job. 12/10!!

I highly recommend H&H! Justin and Lauren are experts in their field and a pleasure to work with. We had a fairly complex situation with fairly challenging topography, a restricted wetland area behind our home which limited our options, and a townhome situation - requiring coordination with multiple units. Justin and Lauren went above and beyond to make sure the details of our plan would solve our needs, including exploring multiple potential solutions and working with the town conservation committee to understand the restrictions and get approval for our plan. They were also very professional, responsive and accommodating throughout the process especially as we had a few hiccups along the way including a major rainstorm which required a few issues and resulted in rethinking our plans halfway through the project. In the end, we are very happy with the work they did in collaboration with their partner, Jack, which included installing a new permeable parking spot / walkway which drains to a pop-up emitter — it not only looks great, but adds functionality including both parking and drainage (and has stood up very effectively to multiple heavy rainfalls this winter!). I would happily recommend the team at H&H for any of your landscaping or hardscaping needs!

We contacted H&H to help us update a plain gravel driveway that had been beaten up by trucks during a house renovation project. They worked with us and our budget to come up with a simple but interesting design using reclaimed granite, some of it found on the grounds of our old house, new grass and creeping thyme accents and we couldn't be happier with the results.

H & H was contracted to perform heavy equipment work to position a number of large boulders on our property. The team was super to work with. They arrived with a large tracked excavator with grappler configured to lift and perform 360 degree positioning, and worked with us to arrange and configure the 4,000 to 5,000 pound boulders into position. The crew were great, they were concerned about achieving just the right look, and got everything just right. We could not have been more pleased!

H&H was a joy to work with from the beginning to the end of our new walkway and steps! All of our questions were addressed and answered both in person and through email communication. Lauren, Justin, Melvin, and the entire workforce were professional, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in their work for us. They provided written quotes and assisted with design as we requested. Promised timeframes were accurate and the work was delivered as expected. Communication was excellent, far exceeding any landscaping company we have worked with in the past. The results were just as we hoped and more. The quoted price was in line with other competing landscapers, but H&H uses higher quality hardscaping for the money and excelled in communication with us. H&H also helped us find an irrigation specialist at our request. If you have a hardscape project, I would recommend you hire H&H as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed.

Justin and his team are incredible! While their quote for the overgrown bed cleanup was on the pricier side, their work is impeccable and absolutely worth it. All of the plants are trimmed by hand and with great care, and all of the plantings are thoughtfully considered and mapped out. Lauren, Justin’s assistant, replies to inquiries and questions promptly. Our yard looks great, and we look forward to working with everyone at H & H for years to come. Team was very professional and paid attention to detail. Previous landscapers made a mess of our yard and never removed old mulch, so there was years of buildup the H&H team had to remove. It took them a long time, and a ton of work. When we were home they asked us questions about things they were unsure about instead of assuming which areas to take care of. They even shared tips with us for long term maintenance, gardening, and taking care of the trees. Appreciate the work they did and happy to have them return!

Justin, Lauren and crew were great to work with. We had just installed about 320 feet of fence and we were looking to install new beds that lined the perimeter of the entire backyard and front yard fence and fill them in with shrubs/perennials. We were also interested in introducing some hardscape in the form of a casual patio. Justin and Lauren produced a design document/art that showed the design proposal and listed the proposed shrubs and some beautiful irregular bluestone designs and a boulder feature, and that sold us on the project, so we went forward with it. For the entirety of the project Justin, Lauren and crew were all very approachable and forthright. Early on we identified some items that could cost extra, including some ledge. Justin was able to use his contacts with an excavation company to bring in a heavy duty drill and drill out a lot of ledge, giving us a much more level lawn. They were also able to improvise and use the boulders that got drilled out as a beautify boulder lined retaining wall. They are also now doing tree care service, and were able to prune the trees lining our backyard which was something that we've needed to do for a while and have been dragging out feet on. The crew worked long days and managed to get the project done in a little over 2 weeks, considering how many moving parts there were (irrigation fixes, heavy machinery, excavation, sod installation, shrub and perennial installation and boulder/patio installation), it was pretty awesome that they got done so quickly! I would definitely work with H & H again.

It went great. The tree was removed first and was done quickly and without any issue. Next the roots had to be removed under the sidewalk and I was concerned that the slabs might crack in the process. Fortunately, Justin and his crew worked very diligently and lifted the slabs without incident. Once the slabs were lifted the roots were cut out and the slabs went back in place perfectly. Needless to say I was relieved since I did not have to have the slab of sidewalk replaced and incur incremental cost. Everything was left neat and tidy.
