He came out and he had a guy with him and son. He came with flamers, brick and rock people. He made a great presentation but it hink it was too much. I was advised that it is going to be done within 7 days. Service is terrible but the flamer his name is michael did a good job. They came with influence of something, they we're disruptive and slept during the job. They always like to do break times and do cigarrete. They messed up my son's house its a new house. We even bought them breakdast and lunch. They are always late and do job late.

Contract H&H to build a fully stone fireplace with built in features ex tv installed, electric fireplace and place for electronics. H&H made major error due to workmanship with stone and had to use Sheetrock on the side of the fireplace. The fireplace doesn’t have the stone on the side and I am not satisfied with this major error. The employees would sleep on the job and inside the company truck, damages to epoxy garage floor, damage to wood floor, drive way has several mixture stains along with material mixtures poor down the city drain, left house dusty, took several hours to complete tasks, arrived late to start the work and took long lunch breaks. I Had to assist with moving materials due to workers not showing up on time. Spoke with owner of H&H about the issues and never got a response. Don't believe what's presented to you. I believe they're a con artist. Couple of good workers but majority aren't. They're not reliable, took long break, came late, and showed no care for your property. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Response from H&H Service
"This project was actually requested by (Member Name Removed), (Member Name Removed)'s son for his home. He wanted us to create a fireplace wall of stone with a TV mounted in the middle and also an imaginary lighted fireplace with all kinds of glowing lights. We created the frame and applied the drywall, then layed the stone as he wanted. By this time, he and his mother started to complain about little insignificant things like being there at the exact time he said and changing a lot of things and also adding more that was not in the original plan. He was also right in our faces and doing some of the things himself. After every thing had been completed, he wanted some other things done that he had done at first when he tried to do it himself. We told him that was not something we had done., he got so upset that he ran us out . He still owed 1/2 of the bill, and refused to pay. He told me not to call him or text him. I left several messages to try to collect and to this date have not gotten any response from him nor has he paid the other half of the bill. His mother would call everyday complaining of one thing or another . We tried to comply with his demands , but I sincerely think they were out to get away from paying from the beginning and that's why the both started to complain about everything. It is, and always has been my goal to satisfy all my customers. I take pride in my work and received the Angie's List Award in 2018 and also have many great reviews. It is not fair to me that because someone refuses to pay for work that was completed would go as far as to file this complaint against me. You can ask Mr. John Sprouse about me. He was my Angie's List sales manager. I have been having trouble getting into my reviews since your conversion to ANGI so I did not read (Member Name Removed) complaint, therefore I don't know if I have responded any of her accusations. with the cold blast that hit Katie this week I found myself without heat. I contacted H&H service and within hours had repairmen at my door ready to work on my HVAC. Feh song loose wires and a non-working thermostat. While they were there I had them replace my old microwave. They managed these multiple projects in a timely manner and very reasonable cost. They were reliable an organized and very knowledgeable. Their work was of the highest quality. They are my go-to company for repairs around my home. They are the best.

CONTRACTOR FROM ****. I hope there is enough space for what I am about to write. We both signed the estimate invoice on 9-4-2020. I FIRED Joe and crew on 10-3. I asked Joe the first day to make sure the put tarp over areas where dust would fly through the rest of the house. He said they would. Within 2 days, crew arrived and the 1st demo started. No tarp. I asked on the the guys if he could do it. He said he would. Joe came the next day after the demo continued and I reminded him the tarp wasn’t put up. He told one of the guys to do it. Nothing. He told him again. He said they didn’t have any and I jumped in saying we did. So begrudgingly it was put up using our tarp, but not good enough. There remained a 15” gap from the wall. Random materials and supplies were purchased and literally dumped in my garage. A big chrome shelf was knocked over and left like that the entire month they were here. The following day, I met the cabinet builder, Mr. T. who came over to talk about our wants and needs. He took measurements. He told the crew more demo needed to be done because it wasn’t complete. I watched from another part of my house and saw Joe, sitting on his butt smearing mud on a broken area of drywall where there wasn’t anything for it to adhere to. After they left, I went to see what he had done and it was over 2” thick. I was and wasn’t surprised because he’s not a hands on kind of guy. They continued the next day taking the kitchen apart and laying it on my patio. My sink, kitchen counter and the range hood stayed there for a couple of days. I asked them to get rid of everything but the hood because we were going to use it again. Joe came the following day to tell me Mr. T was in the hospital. Then the hurricane came and went. I found the range hood laying outside the garage. Ruined. I had to buy a new one. They started demo #2. Joe came the following day with yet another sub contractor, Mr. M. without calling us first. Just showed up. We chatted, he took some measurements and again we went over what we were wanting. I told Joe we actually wanted to have new drywall on 2 more walls so everything would be nice and smooth when they painted. He said not to worry. So when the crew showed up the next day they were confused when I told them about the walls I wanted taken down. Joe did not tell them anything. They seemed like I was asking too much of them. I told them I wanted new insulation to be put in and I heard one of them say they could use some they had stored somewhere. They did not come the next day. No call no nothing. They left debris on our driveway from day one that was there until after the hurricane. I also told them to be sure and use garbage bags because they were throwing trash in the big container without one. Had to repeat that gain about 2 days later. They took the glass stove top out in pieces because there was broken glass on the patio I had to pick up after they left. I have two small dogs that will pick up anything and try to eat. There were 2x4’s left laying on the side of the house that stayed there for about 10 days. I was hoping they would pick them up but it didn’t happen until I told Joe to take them away. I caught one guy cleaning up water or something that had spilled with my cup towels. They used anything they needed without asking permission to use it. I had a 3 step ladder that is trashed. I caught one guy peeing behind my house. I caught 1 guy drinking beer in my driveway. This is the first time we’ve done anything this large to our house and didn’t know what to expect. So, that being said, our floors were not protected nor were the blinds taken down. Both are trashed. Moving on. One guy came out at 7:30 and waited 3 hours for someone to show up. Nobody did. No phone call. Another day passed and nobody showed up except for to pick up tools and go to another job. No phone call. Finally, Mr. T and Mr. M showed up. I found out that Mr. T was just released from the hospital the day before. He had surgery and had a drain still attached. That day, the pantry frame and 2 cabinet frames were built. After all that time was spent, a last of the demo was done. The electrician showed up smelling like a beer can with cigarettes in it. OMG! This was Joe’s son. Four plugs were taken apart and the fridge was unplugged. I only found that out because I went to get some cold water and there wasn’t a light on. He had to make 2 more trips here to add a couple of sockets and to replace some of the blue boxes that housed the wires. He had to leave because he ran out of supplies. He spoke with Mr. M because there were wires that were not capped and put into boxes instead of leaving them dangling where ever they were. An extra guy came out just several days days ago and they actually brought over some dry wall. This was another sub contractor #3, Mr. N. This man put up some of the drywall that day. They were going to go to lunch. When I saw what they had done I ran outside and told them to stop. They got out of the truck and I was yelling at this point. I told them the old insulation was suppose to be taken out and new in. They bought 2 new rolls and a little of the one they had stored of their own in my garage. Unopened just laying there. Then the tears started rolling. I told them to fix it. They left and stayed gone for a while. I didn’t know if they were coming back. I called Mr M and told him what was going on. He said he would come by to see what was happening. The guys did come back from lunch. They took down all the drywall, took the old insulation out put the new in and put up the drywall again. Mr. M came by and saw one set of the loose wires were not wrapped and put in the box. So that drywall again had to be taken down. At this point, more drywall was put up and the mud was being utilized. It was 10-2-20. Mr. M stayed until my husband came home from work. He sat us down and told us what happened should not have happened and apologized. He went over what needed to be done before the cabinets could be built. Mr. T came back over and saw that not much had changed when he was here the last time. So the next day, everybody came over, I fired Joe for not doing the job he was hired to do. HE SAID I WAS BEING UNFAIR! I told him my neighbor had a new kitchen in 10 days. He said I didn’t give him a chance to finish. Without the hurricane, I gave him 3 weeks. He said I made them leave early. I said they had to be done at 4:00 everyday because I didn’t want my husband to have to deal with all this. They never showed up before 8:00. I told him I wanted 2000.00 back of the 4000.00 we gave him. (The job was almost 8000.00) He said he would have to run the numbers and hadn’t paid anyone yet. I told him he ruined our floor (laminate) and he pre-paid Mr. T., 1000.00. He didn’t know I knew. You should have seen his face. Then he said he was going to have to talk to his attorney. I said we would too. He apologized and said for me to give him another chance, I was being unfair. I said no, at the very least, we wanted the money he gave to Mr. T and to have our floor replaced. He just kept whining. His guys took some of the materials out of the garage until I told them to stop. He said it was his, but I said it was in our garage. I told him if I didn’t hear from him by 5:00 today, my review was being put on Angie’s List and I would contact the BBB, which I will do tomorrow and immediately hire an attorney. This is all true, I’ve only abbreviated the sub-contractors names. There is one more thing...Joe always says, “don’t worry about it”. When you hear that, it’s time to worry. If I’ve heard it once, I heard it a hundred times and you will too if you hire him. By the way, I’m still finding cigarette butts in my driveway with a nail or two. I know Joe will re-but this review but it’s too late. Joe, you will hear from the BBB and our attorney you fat sick *******.

"As part of my work ethics, I strive to give my customers excellent customer service and satisfaction. I was contracted to remodel a kitchen with custom made cabinets. I su contracted a cabinet maker to construct and install the cabinets. My crew removed all existing cabinets and appliances and disposed of all debris. At the customers additional request we removed all drywall and installed new drywall and insulation. we also did electrical work. I had purchased all materials for the cabinets, but the cabinet maker was admitted to the hospital and it would be several days before he could start. The customer became very upset and would not reason after I told her about the uncontrollable situation. A few days later she called me in and told me that she had hired another contractor. I tried to reason with her again but I was unsuccessful. I hope that this situation does not reflect on my good service and integrity I am known for."

H&H service is absolutely the best on August 29 I called them for an estimate to repair one AC unit at my home ASTER I had just been given the shocking estimate of $12000.00 by another company. It was 5:34 pm on a Saturday, and they were at another job, they said that they would come as soon as they were through. When they arrived it was dust, yet they would diligently to identify the problem. They repaired the capacitor on the condenser for the AC unit outside and working but the inside unit was not responding. Therefore, I ask them to come back next morning. Before I was out of bed next morning (Sunday) they were at my door. They were prompt, work very hard to repair a capacitor for the blower unit in the attic. The unit needed a new blower motor as well and it would have to be ordered it was over a 110 degrees in the attic space they left with a promise to return as soonest the part was ordered. To my surprise they called me within hours and said that they had received a new motor and were ready to complete the job. I told them that it would be okay to wait till Monday morning. Again, they surprised me by their promptness, they were at my door early Monday morning and proceeded to complete the installation of the blower motor. Overall, I have found each and each services to be knowledgeable, professional, courteous and punctual. The business moto is very honest and trust worthy, they tried themselves on customer satisfaction and they have my HVAC business for life.

I called to get an estimated time of when work could be performed and they gave a quick time of the following morning at 0800. They showed up to my house at 0700 even though I told them 0800. I had asked for a price quote the night before with photos of all of the pieces I wanted put together on the concrete slab. They gave me a quote the following day, told me it would take 3 men and two days for the project to be completed for $1500. They had me sign a piece of scratch paper with multiple other quotes - no official paper was given to specifically show what all was included in the price. They started work the same day - 3 to 4 men were working the first day. They found multiple missing pieces from the parts and had to go and buy the parts missing. On the second day, only two men showed up - Shawn and Angel to complete the project, which did not get completed. They said they would need at least a third person to place the roof up. They came back the following day to finish construction of the pavilion and stated the mosquito mesh netting would be an additional cost. Since I was at work, my spouse paid them for the job, which was more than was quoted since they had to pay for additional pieces, which is understandable. I called Joe Huerta, who is in charge of the company, and asked him why the mosquito mesh netting was not placed when I initially told him that was part of the job and my understanding was it was included in the price quote. He told he would send someone to do it on Monday as long as I gave them a good review.. when the project was done, trash was left all over the ground to be picked up and I found screws and parts of the set that were not used.
Response from H&H Service
"Customer failed to mention that there was 10 two by fours 10 feet long missing and that we had to go out of way to go to Home Depot and buy those extra pieces andCut them to size to fit the roof this was done and there was no charge for the extra labor to get the job completed And all the debris was removed from the premises"

Joe was very hands on all day and repeatedly stressed his goal was always for the construction to be 100% safe. Everything else came second. It was a huge project and could have easy said no that’s not going to work but Joe and his team were determined to provide solid and safety first construction to bring my dreams to life. It’s beautiful and solid construction means we are safe and will have this very special space for years to come.

It was a horrible experience. I was left with glue everywhere, left 24 hours with a leaking pipe, I had to call and text multiple numbers multiple times before anyone called me back. I hired one person and he seemed to send someone else. It was just all to much and It was not worth the money I paid. I asked for a refund when the job wasn’t completed the first time. I lost money because I couldn’t offer the service I paid for. Took 3 trips to complete properly and again It was very messy and I was left with stains on my couch, glue on my wall and floor
