Avoid!! He never even started the job, even after I paid a $4925 deposit. I have resorted to filing a small claims case, similar to several other victims. I'm out my money and I have to start over with another company. Do not trust or pay him. This business is a scam.

I trusted Justin to replace a sidewalk that accumlated ice during the winter for the safety of my family. I was left with a more dangerous porch, an eyesore of a sealing job, cracked "fixed" concrete, broken sprinker lines, and a lesson for me to do my research and provide final payment only after a careful inspection in the light of day. Porch resurfacing, sidewalk replacement and installation job began on 9/21/20. Estimated project length was 1.5 weeks. Existing sidewalk was removed immediately. Concrete forms were partially built. Front and side of house left in hazardous state. Repeated delays blamed on weather and concrete companies. Concrete pour occurred on 11/4/20. Concrete finishing work happened at night, leaving inconsistently applied sealant. Porch resurfacing resulted in a negative pitch, towards the house. During the winter, water now flows from front of porch to front door. This freezes and covers the entire porch in a sheet of ice. This is a safety risk to my family and any visitors/deliveries. Now (April 2021) the resurfacing work is cracked and chipping away. They ruptured a sprinkler line and broke a sprinkler head (discovered when starting system in April 2021). Multiple communication attempts have gone unanswered. If you are reading this, you are doing your research. Look elsewhere.

We contracted to install drainage and build a foundation for an existing house in Dec 2018. The work was started in July 2019 but stopped by the Town of Galway Building Inspector because the contractor had failed to obtain the required building permit. Justin Traver submitted an engineering plan for this project in Sept 2019 and a permit was issued. However, although three walls had already been constructed, the contractor then essentially abandoned the project, despite promises to complete the work. We fired the contractor for noncompliance with the contract through our attorney in June 2020. A subsequent inspection by the Town of Galway Building Inspector found the work done was not up to code and had to be demolished

Unprofessional. Occasionally responds to messages if at all. Comes at least 3 hours later than state, if at all. After moving some dirt around and asking for deposit then finds there is an issue and longer wait with no resolution.

The actual garage floor repair was done very professionally, on time and at a reasonable price. The agreement included coming back 3 weeks later to drill holes for lag bolts. Has not responded to multiple phone calls and texts. Shame on me for paying in full before the job completed.

I found JT Concrete a very competent and capable company with competitive and reasonable rates. The owner, Justin Traver, is a very professional and experienced tradesman. He was very prompt in giving an estimate, returning phone calls, scheduling and keeping me informed on all aspects of the project. I appreciated the fact that he wanted the job to be done in the best way possible. For example, he up-graded to a more expensive product needed to insure a proper job on a problem that could not have been foreseen at the time of the estimate. But - he did not "up-grade" the contract price. This was appreciated as well as was his professionalism and work ethic. I would not hesitate to use JT Concrete again.
The Owner answered when I called and set an appointment at my convenience. He arrived on time for the estimate and gave me an idea of what it would cost, how long it would take to complete and when he could do the job. I delayed the job and Justin had no issue and worked around my schedule. He informed me when he looked at the job that there may be a few additional charges depending on if he could reuse the bricks or had to get new ones. Justin understood my need to have it look as original as possible and he assured me he would make every effort to use the bricks if they were in decent enough condition and if he needed to get new ones, he would do his best to match the color as best he could. He showed up to the job on time, completed the job in a timely manor and charged me exactly what he had quoted. Justin is very polite, clean-cut and trustworthy. I am happy with the work he performed and he assured me by telling me to call him if I had any issues. Justin called me two weeks later to follow up to make sure I was happy with the work.
"Mrs. [Member name removed], We both came to an agreement on color matching and my original advice was not taken. I'm sorry if you are unhappy with the work, I had no notification that you were unhappy until now. Better communication would have been nice. Please let me know if there's anything I can do."

Justin and his teammate were punctual and got all the work done. I had a couple of estimates done in advance and his price was competitive. He also talked through things so that I knew what we were doing when he gave me the estimate. Double checked a few of them day of. This was great.
I suggested a change in the dryer vent size as he was doing the work and he accommodated it.
Great experience.
Thanks!
Justin was very prompt with contacts both through Angie's list and by the phone.
He came to the house to look over the job, scheduled the work for that week and completed the job in one day.
Quality looks excellent. We would use JT concrete again without reservations.

I came across Justin a few weeks ago. I had really been wanting to get my outdoor patio up and running for a few years now. I called a few different people I found on Angie's list, Craigslist, ect. and he had offered me the most reasonable price for what I wanted to accomplish. He was friendly, professional, and left the project clean. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I had a hard time finding someone to do this. Others recommended tearing out the entire floor, which I could not afford to do at this time. Justin arrived and provided an estimate the day after I contacted him. He was very clear about what he could do and provided a reasonable estimate for the project. Arrived Monday morning and tore out the old floor. Tuesday morning a load of concrete was delivered, poured and smoothed. The torn up portion of the garage floor looks almost new at this time, and is ready for my next project - paving of the driveway.

I would definitely use Justin for concrete work again in the future.

Their pricing was good and competitive. They were quick, it just took them two days. Overall it was good. The only complain I have is the color and it was not what I was hoping but it is okay.
Response from High Peaks Concrete
"[member name removed], I did the best that I could finding a color to please you. If it's still a bit dark, it will most certainly fade to a lighter color in time. Thanks again"
