High Marks for High Pointe Electrical! I had a very involved job adding a second 150 amp service on to my existing 150 amp service in order to power a high-end swim spa. Several other electricians hemmed and hawed and strung me along dragging their feet never delivering a written estimate but never really turning the job down. Will from High Pointe Electrical alone (out of a series of four electricians I attempted to bring on board) got right down to business and gave me a written estimate that was right in line with the verbal ball-park estimate one of the other electricians had offered up. I hired him. The power company proceeded to make things extremely complicated and difficult due to problems with availability of key employees and things got even trickier when the utility company lineman arrived and found technical problems with the nearest junction serving my property. Will kept his cool and exhibited exemplary professionalism and diplomatically got the power company to deliver the goods and GOT MY JOB DONE IN TIME for spa installation and got a Passing grade on the county inspection on the first try. Amazing!

I was very pleased with the work that was accomplished and have made plans to hire him again. The only problem was in initial coordination.

He said he was coming and he didn’t make the date. Said he got tied up with something else.  My wife said he was over booking. It seemed to be. He is trying to get his business off the ground. He finally showed up with a piece of equipment, I kind went down to a home improvement store and purchased the same thing and stuck it in myself. We have an electric box and I challenged him on that and he said I and get you the one from general electric which he did the next day or so. He said he was going to ship it to us and then I would call him and evidently he canceled that. He had gone and purchased what he wanted and put in the right thing. The installation was pretty simple and straight forward but it was the right product for the job so I’m happy I challenged him on that. He tried very desperately to do the right thing and to make the customer happy. He did perform the service and he did put the right thing in.

contacted angies list. they charged me $125.00. Called the electrician and set up an appointment. He did not show up and he will not return our calls. They are giving me a refund.

Great job and got it installed in under an hour.

Excellent!! Before Will stepped inside, he put booties over his work shoes--first impression was great! Work was done exactly the way I wanted. He cleaned up after the work was completed. I will definitely use his services when I need an electrician!!

We experienced an electrical surge caused by a neutral ground fault from the electrical supplier.  Septic tank controller/Alarm/Timer was damaged and was not working.  I contacted highpointe electrical to diagnose the repair.  My first impression of the owner, Mr. Johnson was outstanding.  He Immediately  responded to my call and we agreed on an appointment time.  He called before arriving at my location with an arrival time he expected to be on site within 10 Min window.  Lo and behold he arrived exactly at the time he said he would.  That started our professional relationship on a very positive note.  He inspected the controller and determined that it was not repairable and needed to be replaced.  I ordered a replacement and we agreed on a date to install the controller.  Again he arrived at the time agreed upon exactly.  He proceeded to reconfigure the mounting pedestal and installed the controller to my complete satisfaction.  He made sure that the pump controller worked with the existing tank mechanics before leaving.  I would recommend this company to anyone who need electrical repair.

Will installed a ceiling fan in a cathedral ceiling at our house. He arrived on time and installed the ceiling fan.  We discussed options (such as wall switches vs remote, etc) and he seemed very knowledgeable in his field.  I found his pricing reasonable, and Will easy to work with.  I'd use Will again.

The work was performed quickly and efficiently. High Point has done a wide variety of work for our company. From house renovations to outside kitchens. All their work has been very clean and neat. They are personable and a pleasure to have on any job site. Will himself is very conscience and knows more about codes then most inspectors.
