Hill Country Renovations

This company is a complete rip-off. He took money down to start the work the following month. Now will not return calls. Cashed my check and took my money and nothing has been done in months. If anyone is even remotely thinking of hiring these people, think again. I thought Angie's List actually checked to see if it was a reputable firm before they promoted them but I was wrong. I am pursuing legal means to get my money back as are other people who were ripped off by this guy.

He never started. Been 5 months.

Kimm has stolen our money. He did not do any work. We are currently reporting him to the police.

The first Saturday he showed up to start the job was around 9a.m. he moved my furniture out of the first small room with some of my help. He finished installing wood in that room but never put my furniture back in place and left in hallway. He only worked until about 3p.m and I assumed he would do more than 1 room but that didn't happen. We had discussed that the following Saturday I would be out of town and that he would need to come the following week to finish. I thought we both agreed and so I expected him Saturday April 15th but he never showed up. I called him and texted him back and forth and he was arguing with me that it was my fault for not contacting him when I returned. I asked him if he was still going to be able to finish the job and if he couldn't to let me know and I would want a refund. He never responded back to my text or phone calls and gave him several opportunities to respond back to me to let me know if he was going to finish this weekend April 22nd. Still no communication back to me so I had to call Angies list to try to resolve for refund. If you own a business, you should focus on your customer service and have great communication with schedules and commitments. I would not recommend this contractor.

We paid him for the job and he will not return calls or texts. He did about 80 % of the work and then will not respond to any calls or texts to finish it. He works by himself and it was very slow going.

Kimm was very professional and always followed through with what he promised. He was the most punctual construction professional I have ever met. We are extremely pleased with his work and certainly would use him again.

Excellent, Kimm as always, asks the pertinent questions before doing anything. He asked about how we wanted the carpet to tile thresholds set up at each door way before cutting the carpet. he also made sure we were on the same page with the tile layout and the cuts that had to be made. He removed all scraps, cleaned up and advised us how to protect the floor while the mortar dried. he returned the next day on time to grout the tiles.

it went real well. Kimm Fetzer was professional, courteous, and very friendly. Interacted well with our family and answered all questions related to the flooring install. He asked for my input related to the job, before he did any work.

Great job, work completed timely & will definitely use for more work coming up.

It went great. He does all the work himself unless he has to have help. I am totally pleased with work. Only found a couple little things that bothered me,which he repaired.
