Great group. Showed up on time and was in and out couldn’t ask for better service

This was the second time that I contracted Hiller for plumbing repairs. They do good work and have 24-hour service. When the cold snap happened back in late December/early January we had busted pipes twice. The second time we called Hiller and they came out that evening and fixed the problem. Most other plumbers don't offer 24-hour service. Although they cost a little bit more than other plumbers, they're very responsive and fix the problems even when it's single digits outside! We have a crawl space and the water line just below our kitchen was the one that busted. Thankfully they got the problem fixed and restored our water without us having to take time off work.

Arrived later than expected based on the service window quoted. Opted to move service to the next morning. The work was good, but the price was higher than expected. We'd have been better off buying a new electric dryer.

I came home today to a mess in my basement I looked on Angie’s list and found a plumber right off. Could t ask for better service and very friendly staff.

I was really happy with them. It wasn't actually very expensive. They had to put it together and they did a really good job. It wasn't expensive as I thought as it was going to be. They also came in and installed the thermostat and it was almost the same price. They were very polite and very efficient. They answered the questions. They seemed to know what they were doing. I've been using them for at least a year. They were not the cheapest but they also gave us great work.

This provider was called to my mother's house in Bowling Green, KY to replace a few fluorescent lightbulbs in her kitchen.  The total cost of this repair was around $160 which included lightbulbs (which my mother was gracious enough to go to Lowe's and bring to the electrician) and the replacement of a switch.  While the electrician was there he inspected my mother's circuit panel and informed her it, too, needed replacing.  My mother's house is only 40 years old and her circuit panel in inside her garage (i.e. not exposed to the elements).  The electrician said there was a major problems with the panel if not replaced it could cause a fire in her home.  My mother is 89 years old.  With this fear of fire in her mind - my mother agreed to the replacement. The total bill for the services was $2537.  My mother wrote out a check and paid for the work.  When my brother learned of this he put a 'stop payment on the check' and called the company for an explanation of the charge and why the circuit panel needed to be replaced.  He mentioned that my mother was elderly and the whole situation could be construed as taking advantage of an senior citizen.  Then I wrote a letter to the company owner and complained.  The bill was reduced by $1000.  I was still not happy but my mother was and paid the bill - to - in her words 'get the whole thing over with'.  I decided not to write this bad review due the fact that Hiller did reduce the bill. <br /> However, since then I have had 2 quotes from Angie's List recommended electrical companies in Louisville, KY to replace my daughter's circuit panel at her home.  Her circuit panel is very rusty and definitely needs replacing.  My daughter's circuit panel is similar in size to my mother's.  The cost from both companies was approximately $1300 and both quotes were within $100 of each other.  So now I am really mad!  How can the cost to replace a circuit panel in Bowling Green, KY be more than the cost in Louisville, KY by over a $1000?  I now feel that my mother's total bill should have been around $1460.  So, when Hiller agreed to write off $1000 they were still making OVER the going rate!   <br /> This company is NOT the company it once was.  My mother, sister and brother all have had their furnace and air conditioners replaced by Hiller in the last few years.  My mother's total cost of a new furnace and air conditioner was just over $10,000 and her house is approximately 2400 square ft.  The cost to replace my furnace by DFH here in Louisville, KY last year was around $3000 and they did not push for a new air conditioner but the quote to replace it was around $4000.  My house and my mother's house are the same size.  <br /> Need I say more? <br /> <br />

This was during all the subfreezing and it took them 4 days to get to us! We were CLUB members as well. Anyway, when they did come they were not shy about charging. It took them no longer then 30min to do the repair and parts were only a 3ft length of pipe and two unions. We were warned about this beforehand by a previous Hiller employee. He told us that they were instructed to pump up billable repairs to over $500 per visit! If you think that there Happy Hiller Member Plan is a good deal please think again before commiting to them. JMO <br />

Only problem was getting the appointment. It took three phone calls over 1 1/2 weeks just to get an appointment.

The provider was polite and professional. He showed up on time and fixed all my problems. The only thing negative I have to say about this company is their price is outrageous. I will not call them again for my plumbing needs because of the price. <br />

Good. Promised service window was 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Tech called before 2:00 and said was tied up on job and would be after 4:00. We rescudled for next morning (Saturday). He showed up on time and completed work in a very professional manner. Extremly neat and clean. No mess or clutter.

House had been empty for one year and most of the leaks and drain problems did not show up on home inspection.  Pour kitchen drainage showed up the first week, the leaks in the weeks that followed use.  Ivan came to the house at the times scheduled and spent close to 4 hours inspecting all aspects of the plumbing and making the repairs that I had identified. <br />

We initially had a bad experience with Hiller but they have very response customer service. After talking to a superior, they sent us a check to refund our last service call and sent a plumber that was wonderful (John Greer.) He surpassed our expectations and unclogged our drains at a discounted cost. He told us that we eventually would need the whole house replumbed but that he could work with us along the way until we saved up for the job. Hiller offered 12 months same as cash and financing options but we wanted to save for it. The cost of the job was estimated at $4000. We were so happy with Hiller?s responsiveness to our bad experience and the great experience with John that we plan to continue using them as our service provider. <br />

have them come for a routine check and everything turned out to be needing replacement so we replaced it.

We had a stripped facet that would not shut off. We called Hiller and they were there within 30 minutes. They replaced the faucet and gave us a much better faucet for a cheaper price.They were quick, clean and efiicent. They got our problem fixed and were happy to do it. I have used them for a lot of work in the past 4 years, and they've always gave us an estimate up front, they've never tried to pressure us into unecessary upgrades, and they always warranty their work. I would recommened them without hesitation <br />

We had a clog in the main pipe of our bathroom. The man who came out was courteous and hard working. He worked very hard at getting our pipe unclogged and he honored the estimate that he gave us upfront. Very pleased with the service. They even honored an old coupon from an outdated telephone book! <br />

Would never use again! <br />

Do get a free eval before you have a problem with your system. Very knowledgeable about HVAC and also about current building codes. Seems professional and reliable. <br />
