Jim came to the house to pick up items. They were very professional and accommodating. The process involved a total of 4 visits (I live 1 hr away) & they had no problem making all 4 visits including the last to fix a minor problem with one piece – I would highly recommend – the work was good & service exception.

I was at first surprised at the cost of having the bed done but in fairness it has been a very long time since I have had anything refinished. You do get what you pay for and the bed came out just beautiful. <br /> It was in pretty tough shape when I brought it to them and they went above and beyond to restore it. On top of it, it was a spool bed which is a tough surface to strip and they do everything by hand there; no dipping. They also went the extra mile and checked on how stable it was and made adjustments to the end pieces so that it would again be like it had been in its original day. I was also pleasantly surprised that they went and made two extra slats to replace some damaged ones and this was no easy task as the end connecting pieces were curved. <br /> All in all I would definitely recommend them and plan to go back there with a chair that needs upholstering as I have seen what they do with those pieces and they are superb. <br /> <br /> <br />

I brought in a drawer from an antique buffet that had a bottom falling out and they fixed it so I could use it again.  They were friendly, knew exactly what to do and got the job done in about a week and a half.  They also helped me with parts for a broken pull on one of my other bureaus at no charge.  This is the second time I used them, I had them repair another drawer that needed to be reconstructed and that went great.  The drawer was fixed perfect and made the whole bureau useable again. <br />

Jim and his assistants did a phenomenal job refinishing the oak kitchen cabinets in our renovation project.  They paid painstaking attention to detail, were flexible, considerate and professional.  The refrigerator cabinet that was custom made gives us more usable space above, and a classy, finished look overall.  We ended up with a much better final project than we could have imagined, at a much better price than purchasing new cabinets, and with better quality of workmanship.  We were very impressed, would use them again in the future, and would recommend Jim, Kristen and their team without hesitation. <br />

<p>Kristin and Jim were simply fabulous to work with when we were deciding to reupholster a 1- year-old couch whose fabric was not very attractive, but whose comfort  'fit' was quite good for us.  We found their business and contact information through a  basic Google search.</p> <p>Most of our interaction was with Kristin who not only has a great knowledge base about fabric, but she was incredibly patient and provided suggestions/guidance effectively about color and quality of fabric....and she was fun to talk with!</p> <p>The couch (once a loud, gold plaid)  is now a covered with a beautiful textured, rich, chocolate fabric... and it changes the entire look of the room which is exactly what we were aiming to do!</p> <p>Jim and Kristin accommodated our work schedules and our visit schedules up to NH with regards to fabric swatch borrowing and couch pick-up and  return...... they even delivered the couch back to our condo in time for our arrival one weekend.... That 1946 table set returned in 1946 fashion! Jim and his crew did such a gorgeous job that you would never know of the addition of paint, stain, steel plate or poly! You would never have guessed the condition of the and quot;before chairsand quot; and the and quot;after chairsand quot; and the end results. The chairs look like they had never been sat in with the addition and replacement and/or repair of dowels, wood plugs, and screws. We can now feel the wood grain of the table! The color match of stain is perfect; even though the chairs and table are of different wood types. Jim even replaced the sliding gears on either side of the table to insert the extra leaf. He brought that kitchen set back to life....and my 93-yr-old mom loved it all over again. Thank you, Jim. You do such beautiful, meticulous work! <br />

This company performed beyond our greatest expectations! Our cherished dining room table ensemble was entirely brought back to its original state, even with color-matching the chairs and table to the three chairs that weren't damaged! We were ecstatic to see the successful transformation of these large black marks which were located in the middle of the table and totally covering and damaging the finish on the 4 leaves stored inside, completely removed and the finish restored to its original state. My grandmother's rocking chair will now be sitting in its place of honor in our new 4 season room, and our sewing machine table is now in our entry way for all to see when they enter our home. Everything turned out beautifully and we would hire them again. They called the next day to verify that we were happy with the results, asked us to critique/review their work. I, for one, couldn't be happier! They provided us with pick up and delivery of the finished products. <br /> <br />
