I am unhappy with this service. I initally booked this service amd put plainly in the comments that I needed 4 outlets, 2 ceiling fans, light switches and power ran out to a 20x20 shed. I called and spoke to Amanda the day before, went over the project details again and got a list of items that we needed to purchase before they arrived. The day of service he arrived and claimed we didn't have everything. He then went to home depot to grab more things. When he came back we then discussed again what we needed done. He stated that, that wasn't what he was booked for. He did not install the ceiling fans or run power out to our shed as requested. He gave us a card and told us to to call to book him again and he would give us another estimate to finish the work. I feel like I was scammed out of my money. I would not use them again. This was my first time using Angi and I won't be using it again either.

Ben (the owner) was contacted to replace our existing deck. He did not show up when he said he would, and it took 2 1/2 weeks longer than he said. When we decided to add on to the deck a year later we contacted him again...knowing this time that the project would probably not be done in the time frame quoted. He completed the deck and then installed an awning over a section of it. Fast Forward one year....the deck is falling apart. We were told that he would use deck screw, but we have a bunch of rusted nails in the deck. The stairs are splitting, falling apart, and unsafe. The railings are loose, and the bottom rung is not even connected to the post. The gates are loose and falling off. We have had to have someone come and fix a lot of the boards since they were loose and lifting up. The actual railing on one side even fell off. I have contacted Ben numerous times about all of this...he told me that he would come by. He has never showed up and will not answer any phone calls or text messages. The asking that was installed seems to be doing fine, but the fan that he installed and did the wiring for doesn't work. We had to hire someone else to come out and fix that. I will not be using him again. I also do not recommend him. His prices are fair, but it ends up costing double to get everything fixed. Look up Sam Martinez with J&G Home Improvements he is awesome. As before, I have absolutely nothing but GOOD to say about the work, cost, punctuality, and quality of the work done. They were here when they said they would be and all was said and done in a timely matter. I will continue to use them as needed and give them a high mark on the work they do !

It was awful! It was horrible! I had met with him because I wanted my kitchen redone. I loved his ideas and I was very excited about him getting to work. He was supposed to get to work but I had a medical emergency and I ended up in the hospital having an emergency surgery. My daughter met with him and he was to go on with the work. He had $1900 that I paid him as deposit. I was trying to get that back. He doesn't answer any phone calls and he won't return a call. It has been horrible! I don't really know where to go from here to try and get my money back. He won't respond and he won't pick up the phone when I call. I left messages which he did not return. He was called everyday for I don't know how long. No response, nothing. He kept the money. I thought I was going to love it because I loved his ideas and I was excited looking forward to it. We had to hire somebody to come in and finish it up. My daughter didn't want me coming home from the hospital when the house was in that shape, it wasn't livable. So he put a piece of cardboard on the floor and said now it's livable. It was the week of the 18th of November when he was supposed to start work. He said he could finish the kitchen by Thanksgiving so I had invited people for Thanksgiving dinner in my new kitchen. As it turned out, I was in the hospital on Thanksgiving and had had an emergency surgery which of course he was informed of this and this was what was going on, but he was to go on with the work. I paid $1900 upfront to get started which I was happy to pay. He had $1900 for all that, I had a piece of cardboard on my floor and had to hire people to come in and put a floor and do other work. The price would have been fine. I actually wanted him to do 3 jobs around here which we had discussed, but of course he said he would take care of that.

Estimate was free and work detailed was around 1500-3000 depending on what we decided on for them to do.  They gave an initial estimate and I was ready to go with them, but then I tried to contact for work and they never responded to calls or returned phone calls.

After getting several estimates, we decided to go with Ben Seguin for three reasons. First, we were told that his company could do all of the work without having other contractors involved. Secondly, he could match the color of our dining room table, which was important to us, and finally, he said the work could be done in 1day which would have had the job completed before <br /> Thanksgiving!  Initially, he was going to coordinate the countertop installation, but the company that he used was uncooperative and evasive. That is a long story!  We found another company that was great to do the countertop. <br /> Ben was very cooperative and accommodating to our wants and needs. He had very good ideas and was very encouraging during the planning stages. The overall plan was for him to prepare the project off site and install everything in one day. Several delays occurred, some of which were not Ben's fault. However, the project slowed and installation seemed tedious and we missed our Thanksgiving goal. It was understandable that even though this was a fairly small project, there were details that caused a longer than expected installation. But it did seem that communication was lacking and several times he was difficult to reach <br /> and took longer than expected, especially with the details. The bulk of the installation was indeed in one day, but he was unable to complete the drawers, glass work, and wood finishing. He had to reschedule and after several return visits most of the work was completed. We actually were not completely satisfied with the wood finish, so we sanded and applied several more coats of <br /> finish. The lower pull-out shelf runners are heavy duty and auto-closing, andv work fine. However, the lower shelf construction was a bit wide and scraped the edges of the doors and frame, so he had to adjust and shave the sides. They are much better but we still have a few issues with the width of the shelves themselves. There were 2 additional shelves that he promised us (because of the <br /> delays, they were not part of the original quote), but he never completed nor installed them, and has not returned our calls. The upper drawers were out of adjustment but after he adjusted them on a return visit they are now satisfactory. The upper unit is good and attractive. One door on the upper unit and one door on the lower unit came loose from the hinges and I had to reinstall the hinge and reattach the doors. The electrical work was good and complete. <br /> Overall the project is attractive and functional. We are enjoying the addition to our home, but there are a few more 'tweaks' that we'll do to the unit to make it just like we want. Ben has good ideas and seems very willing, but might have a tendency to over commit and miss some detail. He's very personable and likeable, but could have communicated better during project. <br /> <br /> <br />

Last fall he put in the outdoor metal awning with the ceiling fan. A few weeks later he put in two new doors with framing.  About the same time he installed heat shield in the entire attic of my house.  Shortly there after he repaired my skylight that had started leaking. Throughout the whole time he was doing the work, he was always very nice and professional. He was also willing to work with us to get the job done the way we wanted it.
