Very pleased with this electrical company as they put a new electrical box in, gfi plugs changed.out three lights, will definitely use again, they clean up after themselves.

The job required two visits spread over a long holiday weekend. The plumbers on both visits were very professional. The first plumber did a great job identifying the problem, but after several hours of hard work determined that he did not have the equipment necessary to complete the project. The issue was resolved on the second visit. I was pleased with the final outcome. Thank you, H L Bowman

Not a good experience... I was willing to pay the exaggerated price point of HL Bowman thinking I would get quick, trustworthy service. The company did not even tell the technicians what they were supposed to be working on / looking at when arriving. I had to explain to multiple technicians and bring up the quote myself. The technicians walked through my carpeted living room (about 1,000 times - they were in the car more than in my house), dragging dirt and made absolutely no attempt to clean up the area. I spent 2+ hours cleaning up the mess, and no true apology was offered. HL Boman kept repeating "This is not typical", but why would I believe that? What was supposed to be a 1 day job turned into 3 due to poor communication within their own company. Technician left at the end of day 2 leaving a voice mail saying that there was still a drip. 3rd day a technician came asking how much more I was willing to spend and offered no solution. Nothing about this process was easy or fast.

My regular plummer is on vacation. He charges approx $200 to snake the kitchen sink. Angi recommended HL Bowman....they wanted $600 for the job.... I declined service.

From the start of the project of the response, time of less than 15 minutes of receiving a phone call, The tech, Steve Unger, was here within a few hours and was able to get my AC unit temporarily running to get me through the week until we could schedule a replacement. Steve was amazing.! then I was greeted with a visit with Manny who sold me on the value of HL Bowman partnering unit with Home Depot made by Honeywell. It was much more cost-effective and seems to be doing a tremendous job at cooling my very tough A-frame situation at my condo. Chris and Jake were the install personnel that worked very efficiently and had the unit up and running within five hours. They also were very personable and took tremendous care of my needs. Lastly, I had a follow up the day after it was installed with Jesse who did a fabulous job inspecting and making sure the unit was running efficiently and properly as well as his knowledge of showing me proper thermostat settings. HL Bowman came through when we needed them most. Our AC failed on the hottest day of the year, and they had us back up and running with a full new system installed the very next day. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and honest. They explained our options clearly and never pressured us into anything we didn't need. We felt confident we were getting quality equipment at a fair price. HL Bowman only carries best-in-class equipment with a variety of options across different budgets. In a stressful moment, they made the whole thing painless and smooth. Highly recommend.

If I could give HL Bowman 0 stars, I would. After buying our first home, we experienced frozen pipes and chose HL Bowman based on their positive reviews. During their first visit, we were strongly encouraged to sign up for their MVP program. Since then, every maintenance visit seemed to result in recommendations for costly replacements. Recently, our AC stopped working. My father, an electrician, identified two possible faulty parts, and it turned out one of them?a part costing around $30?was the issue. HL Bowman charged us $418 to replace it and then tried to sell us an additional capacitor for nearly $400 more. To make matters worse, the technician broke the exterior breaker switch for the unit and then quoted us $300 to repair the damage he caused. Charging customers for technician-caused damage is unacceptable. I requested a call from a manager and asked to cancel our membership, but received no response. Based on our experience, I would not recommend HL Bowman.

*AVOID THIS COMPANY: We had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience with H L Bowman and strongly caution others before using this company. In 2019, we hired them to replace an outdoor spigot/hose bib and copper plumbing, which cost $309. That installation ultimately failed within a few years due to what a technician on a recent visit confirmed was an improper initial installation. Fast forward to our recent service call: a technician came out, diagnosed the issue, and quoted us over $700 to replace a simple hose bib with no additional parts required. After questioning the price, they ?discounted? it to $600. Feeling uneasy about the pricing, we asked them to stop the work so we could get a second opinion. Only then did the technician suddenly offer to honor the original 2019 price of $309?raising serious questions about where these pricing numbers were coming from and how such a drastic ?discount? could be offered on the spot. They contacted me right away, set up an appointment, came and did a wonderful presentation that was on a Tuesday. I had other contractors in between. They already sent me their estimates. I waited till that Saturday. And I emailed him, that I wanted to get his estimate. Never received anything. The following Monday, I called his number. He never got back with me. I told him what I wanted. He never got back to me. On Tuesday, which would have been a week after he was here. I called H L Bowman, and spoke with somebody there. She said she would check into it, and she would have an estimate to me within a day or two. And they never got back with me. I never got an estimate. And we checked our email address. Make sure everything was good. Never received anything. And here it is like, over two weeks later and havent heard a word from them.

I had plumbing leaks in a couple of places, but the men that did the work went above and beyond by replacing every component involved top to bottom to ensure there would be no leaks for a long time to come. Very satisfied with the quality of work as well as how quickly it was done.

Great experience Justin, Nate & Timothy were awesome. Very knowledgeable, professional & curious. Aside from the cleanliness they delivered an experience. I highly recommend HL bowman if you want rapid service on your HVAC. Pricing was reasonable in my opinion & financing is an option. Keep in mind when seeking quotes for your HVAC repair/ new install you must consider performance over equipment, that is if your want a good system that will have a good run/life span.

Oversold/Underdelivered. Salesperson quoted job would be done in one day. It took 3 days during very cold weather. They did provide space heaters and the service techs were great. However, manager response was awful. Never called proactively to apologize or to provide an inconvenience discount. Asked to speak with the general manager and still have not heard from him in over a month. Again, the techs are great but beware of being oversold.
