H.M Productions Quality Renovation and Restoration

On or about November 5, 2025, the we signed an estimate/contract with HM Productions LLC (NAME REMOVED) for construction of a laundry room build out at (ADDRESS REMOVED) As part of the Project, you (NAME REMOVED) retained and directed a subcontractor to perform work including framing and pouring the slab, which included drilling and pouring three (3) approximately six-foot pilings to support the outer portion of the slab. Around March 1, 2026, the we began experiencing serious drainage issues, including repeated toilet overflows in the bathroom near our bedrooms. We retained Conzonere Plumbing, which inspected the sewer line using a camera. The inspection traced the obstruction to the area of a corner piling drilled and poured as part of the slab work. The investigation revealed that the piling had been drilled through the sewer pipe and that concrete entered and hardened inside the pipe, partially blocking it and preventing proper drainage. The plumbing repair required rerouting the pipe around the new build-out. The plumbing work was completed on March 5, 2026, and we paid $1,280.72 for the repair. Mr Morellaro claimed the person he hired was responsible and that we should get reimbursed by him. We did not hire the sub-contactor, nor did we pay or sign a contract the sub-contractor. The contractor is refusing to reimburse us for the $1,280.72 repair. It is also to be noted that there are several things wrong Mr Mortellaro's work unrelated to this plumbing issue.
