We first hired Hoerst Plastering in 2019. We were so pleased with quality of the repair ad the reasonable price that we just told them to come do a repair--no estimate needed. The job this time (July 2022) was more complex due to major damage to a wall. The work was scheduled quickly and the work was again of high quality. In sum, we are delighted with Hoerst Plastering.

The worker sent here was AMAZING. He has been soooo nice & has GREAT customer service quality A++++. He listened, educated us on how/why the areas needed the work I pointed out to him in several places. Since you had him scheduled to be here 2 days, he was able to hit a couple more areas in a couple more rooms, and we appreciate that flexibility. Also, you provided a Veterans discount, which was very much appreciated. Again, it’s nice to do business with local companies!

Our experience with Hoerst Plastering was excellent. They squeezed us into their busy schedule (even got started a day earlier than expected), they were professional and respectful of our property, and even helped me carry in a small load of groceries before heading out to pick up materials (which was much appreciated, as I was 9 months pregnant at the time). Their craftsmanship was wonderful - they definitely achieved the look I was hoping for. They answered our questions fully and, to our request, even walked around our house to see if there were any areas on the original part that needed repaired.

It is very difficult to find a plasterer these days. Angies List to the rescue.The leak was so bad that large chunks of plaster had fallen off and the ceiling was sagging. Hoerst Plastering added a layer of support before plastering. You cannot tell where the repair was made. We are very pleased with the attention to detail and the professionalism of this company.

George was friendly and kind. Was glad to have used him.

Could not be happier with quality of the work. George is courteous, prompt, and gives accurate estimates. Each job was properly prepped and cleaned up afterwards. George even took time to repair a few hairline cracks that weren't in the original estimate at no extra cost. Highly recommend and will be using again in the future.

We had two separate areas that needed repair, and I was worried about the cost, given that I could see through to the wood underneath the plaster. They had me send a couple of pictures of the damaged walls, and then gave me a quote via email based on the photos, which was really reasonable. George came in and fixed the walls in about 4 hours, cleaned up so well that you wouldn't have even known anyone was there (except for the nice smooth walls), and charged me exactly what was quoted. (He even remained calm despite our obnoxious dogs barking at him the duration of his stay.) Awesome job!!!

I couldn't be more pleased with the job performed. The repair was spot on...it looks like it never happened (except for the missing coat of paint). I'd recommend Hoerst and the gentleman that performed the work, George, again, without hesitation. He took his time on the fix, allowing the compound to dry between coats, and made sure it was smooth. He cleaned up afterwards, and left not a trace of dirt or debris. He was very personable, and I felt like I could trust him in my home.

Excellent quality of work at a very reasonable price.  Also, George worked very h****** a Saturday to take care of my project because he knew I was putting my house on the market and needed the work done quickly.  George was a super nice guy, too.  We had a little scheduling snafu on the initial estimating visit (the office scheduled it with me but George didn't know about it), hence the "B" grade on punctuality.  But they made up for it by accommodating me on a Saturday.  Overall, I was very, very pleased with both the result and the price. <br />

<p>The stucco on the front of our house had a bulging crack that was extremely noticeable and allowed water to get behind the stucco... a bad situation. George came out for an estimate and quoted $500. Seems like all home repairs are $500, plumbing, AC, now stucco. He spent two long days up on a ladder ripping out the cracked section, filling in with new stucco, then matching the texture of the 80 year old stucco next to it. He also caulked several cracks along our chimney and along the windows which I was very thankful for! I had to wait a week or so before applying primer and then exterior paint, but now that it's painted you can't tell anything was ever repaired. The invoice was as quoted, $500. He's a nice guy, easy to get a hold of. Came out pretty quickly. A+!</p> <br />

It was a good experience. They got the work done on time and seemed to be reasonably well done. I'm not an expert but it's good to me. I was satisfied with the overall work. They were good and I think they were the best. They were very responsive and punctual.

<p>George completed two projects 2 months apart. The 1st one, from 11/25/14, thru 12/1/14, was to repair rock lathe cracks and other cracks in several rooms and areas. The 2nd one, on 2/4/15, was in a room in which he had repaired cracks during the 1st project.</p> <p>Several rooms and areas had rock lathe cracks and other cracks. George warned us that the amount of light might make it difficult to see cracks sometimes. He arrived prepared and ready to work. He brought with him the notes made during his visit to provide an estimate.</p> <p>On the 1st day, in a room in which he thought he had located and repaired all the cracks, more were found. When he returned the next day he was informed. He, graciously, repaired them. It took only 3 days. The charge was $1,550.00.</p> <p>Less than 1 month later, I had decided to have a ceiling light installed in a room in which George had already repaired cracks. We hired an electrician with whom we had previously done business with, on many occasions, as a subcontractor and as an independent contractor. </p> <p>The electrician made 4 holes in the ceiling and 1 in a wall for the installation. We did not have a problem with that because he said he would return to plaster them. It was a mistake to have paid him in full ($300), at that point, before he had finished the plastering. We called him twice and left a voice mail message each time. He never responded. We had no other way of contacting him.  </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>Finally, we decided to contact George, again. When he came to complete the estimate he told us the holes had been filled with drywall! Instead of waiting 3 weeks for him to be available, as he had expected, it was only 2 weeks. </p> <p>His office told us to expect him at 8:30 AM. He arrived at 9 AM, instead. He seemed to act like he was on time. We made no comment; we were happy he arrived. </p> <p>He completed the plastering in about 3 hours. $285 was the charge. </p> <p>Later, we saw that 2 of the holes he patched with plaster were still visible after the primer was applied. They were a little less visible after a coat of paint.</p> <p>He would tell us at what time he would return the following day. In advance, he asked and was allowed to leave his equipment in our house until he finished. He left no mess and used drop cloths and his vacuum cleaner. He cleaned up daily afterwards. He asked before he turned on his radio. Helpful advice was provided by him about when and how repaired areas should be prepared, along with tools to use, and painted. </p> <p>The total amount for both projects was $1,835.00.</p>

I asked several providers estimates to repair the damage. <br /> Goerge gave me a reasonable place and he mentioned <br /> to repair it without drywall ( I said it's OK to use drywall if it costs less ) with one of the lowest prices among the providers. <br /> I felt he loved old houses and tried to care them as possible. That's another reason I hired him. <br /> I stick with PC, not acell,and prefer to contact by email only, so it took a little time to confirm things like the date but it's OK. <br /> <br /> <br />

The owner George Beiderhake gave me a quote and did the work himself.  Real nice guy to work with and did a great job matching the existing stucco work. <br />
