Hofmann Construction

It was awesome. They're pretty good. They were very professional, very on time and polite. The housekeeping was good. Pretty well organized and they know what they're doing.

The owner of the company had us sign a contract to start 10.19.20 but did not start until 10.22.20. When the workers came in to gut the bathroom, they put a hole in my wall on the outside of the bathroom wall. Which he never had fixed. Then trying to get his workers to come back on a consistent basis, was a terrible process to even get someone in my house to do work. He had a bunch of excuses why his workers did not come to the job site to do work on any given day. In our contract he had jobs would be completed in 2 weeks. It is going on 4 weeks and hardly anything has been completed. There was horrible lack of communication between the owner and his workers also, when I asked questions, they seemed not to know what was going on. Workers did not clean up after themselves. Left debris and dust everywhere in my house, I had to clean up after them every day they were here. One of the workers told me, "oh, we don't have to clean up-this is a construction site". I could not believe what I was hearing. So unprofessional. Also, the fence they started 3 weeks ago, only the poles are up, and they are not spaced accordingly, the panels will not fit between the poles, so the only way to put them up where they will fit is to scab them together. I paid for all the materials and the fencing was expensive, now it has to be done over, terrible work. I don't think his workers now how to measure, I over heard one of the workers, say, "How do I do that"? Ridiculous. Beware of this contractor, unless you want your house destroyed. When they removed old plumbing, there was a leak that they left and the ceiling below has a big water stain, which they never put any plastic down to catch the water. Also, one of the pipes bursted and they never put plastic down on the floor to prevent any damages. He said that wasn't their fault. Basically, blamed me for that happening. The electrician he hired to do electrical work in our bathroom did not do the wiring correctly, failed to put a junction box around the wires, he only put nut wires on the ends to hold them together, which could cause a potential fire down the road. What a mess, this whole process with Hofmanns Construction has been a nightmare from the inception. He also sent a sub-contractor finally to complete the unfinished work, but the sub-contractor said "the previous workers left a complete mess, that he would never work that way and the electrician that Hofmanns Construction hired didn't do any of the electrical work correctly". Residents BEWARE! Don't hire this company!!

Didn't take him weeks to complete the assignment, finished in a timely manner . Cleaned up after his self . Very nice and professional

It went well but paint color was not that requested-Great workers looks beautiful. They also designed and built an entryway closet that is fantastic
