The manager, Lee, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He came out to check on his workers. They were nice and worked hard. However, They knew three hours before I returned home they were also going to need a trailer but didn't call until after I arrived and took a 30-second look and told them, get a trailer. Quite a bit of time was wasted. Lee made good on that by deducting one and one-half hour's fees. When we arrived in our new home, though, we found furniture scratched, gouged, and glass broken. I expect to lose some glassware but not have damage to coffee tables and desks. I would use them again but I would have to take the day off to supervise everything they do and how they do it.

<p>We decided to do the packing for the move ourselves and HLMovers helped by making available for purchase an ample supply of boxes and packing materials. Prior to the event the movers visited my home to preview the move and help us to know what to expect on moving day. Our move required two trucks. On moving day the crew arrived according to our plan and spent the entire day and into the evening loading our possessions. They were polite. They were professional. They treated our belongings with respect and care. They paid attention to details such as the security of nuts and bolts from disassembled items that might get lost in transit. They were equipped with an abundant supply of blankets, straps and cellophane wrap and worked tirelessly to find the right place for each item. </p> <p>The next day the crew returned to transport our belongings to a storage facility about 125 miles away. The offloaded our possessions with the same efficiency and care as they had loaded them.</p>
