Homeboys handyman service

I wanted to clarify a review I left on 3/15/23 so as to not mislead the public. Dustin had reached out to me on this site for a project to replace two interior doors that had no framing problems, just one door had imperfections on it and one was missing after a home purchase. I paid him $650.00 cash he requested to do the job. He and his son came to my house and left the project incomplete, repairing one door but leaving the other worse off than it was when they got here. Now the door will not even shut and it looks like the frame is hanging down out of the door. There were no problems with the frame previously. I left him a good review to "help his business" having taken his word that he would be back to fix what HE messed up in my home. Now I have to fix what he broke. I feel like he ripped me off. They also left a big mess and trim around the door was not replaced that had been taken off, I had to go looking for it after the project. He is literally just ignoring me after I paid him when I texted him and asked when he will be back to finish the job. I wish I never hired him and could remove my 5 star review. I didn't know he was like this. And I wish I never let him touch my door.

Started work 3-23-23 with a helper for about 6 hours - didn't finish - said he would return 1:00 PM the next day but did not. Called 3-25-23 and came over to finish work. Stayed about as long but didn't put the fire alarm in the basement ceiling piece so said he would return 3-28-23 but did not show up. He requested payment 3-23-23 of $930 then $200 on 3-25 and $250 on 3-25 ($400 for the front brick putty job and $25 extra for the bottom clamps for the closet door). All of which he did terribly but I did not see since he left in the dark. I trusted this guy because he was rated 5 star on your site. I have hired another handyman that you recommended and he says almost all needs redone. I want the prices the bad guy charged reviewed for cost and refunded what is fair plus what I have to pay the new guy to do over.

Very good experience with them and would highly recommend them and use them again! Plan to have them back for more work soon. Nice team to have around. Look forward to having then back. Thanks again! Came out real fast and everything.

Good. Dustin found information for me to look into to find a part that is needed. Also fixed bed so I can adjust head and put rest of bed flat so I can sleep comfortably.
