Steve was very helpful. Not only did he do a thorough job of checking our home, and got us a report promptly, but he also offered good observations and opinions on the work that needed to be done. He never spoke outside of his expertise, but I appreciated that he didn't just say, "I can't give you an opinion on that," for everything. He's obviously got a lot of experience.

I was very satisfied with the work performed by HomeCheck (Steve  Blaha).  First, all inspection rates were listed right there on their  website (listed in matrix form by size of house and age of house).  I like seeing fixed rates like that.  Sure enough, the amount shown on the website is was what I ended up paying. <br /> Steve responded to my inquiry on the same day and I was able to book an appointment with him a few days later.  He showed up on time and did a very good job inspecting the house.  He spent more than three hours going everywhere  and did a thorough job.  Very knowledgeable with lots of experience and it shows. The report was well done and very useful. <br /> I can easily recommend HomeCheck for home inspection service. <br />

Start to end, could'nt have gone better.

Steve showed up on time and was friendly and professional. He did a very thorough inspection of the repairs. I had plenty of other questions that Steve did not hesitate to address. Steve spent a lot of time on the property and I felt like what he charged for his services was very reasonable and worth every penny. Not only did Steve provide great service inspecting the seller's repairs, he went above-and-beyond in providing useful follow-up information to me in the days after he completed the inspection. Working with Steve was a truly positive experience.

They showed up nice and early on the days they worked, which was in the middle of our summer's extreme heat wave.  We were having some other work done at the same time, and Esbey's workers did a great job working "around" and staying clear of this other project.  The 4 days they worked did stretched over a little less than 2 weeks, but that was because they had to have 2 workers here anytime one was on the tall ladder (for safety) because of our narrow and drastically sloping property.  We weren't in any hurry and had told them from the beginning that they could fit us in as they could, so I think think that's why there were some longer-than-usual breaks in between work days.  Plus, with the heat wave, it was hotter than blazes up on that ladder against the southern exposed walls I'm sure. <br /> <br /> Overall, they were hard workers, did a very nice job on the re-caulking (we also had them paint all of the re-caulked seams, which ended up looking better than I expected), and I would definitely recommend them.  I will hire them again.

I liked their flexibility, their attitude, and their professionalism.

The project was a big one. It took a little longer than anticipated but I think that is the case with all major remodels. The length of time was not the fault of Steve's crew but the cabinet maker and glass door guy that slowed things down. We spent exactly what we expected. The cost included high end materials. The shower and floor are marble. The floor is heated. We went a little extravagant but that is what we wanted. We wanted a very nice bathroom that we could enjoy for years to come and that is exactly what we got. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done!!! We also had some unforseen floor settling that caused a crack in the tile and water leakage. Steve and his crew rushed right over immediately and fixed the problem at no cost to us.
