I hesitate recommending HIE even though I am satisfied with the insulation, I am very unhappy with the competency of the crew doing the work. It is quite evident that a member of the crew stepped on and broke the PVC drain from our central AC. They were the last workers to be in our attic and claim to have inspected the very pipe that was broken. Going unnoticed until a recent heat wave running AC 24/7, the leaking pipe soaked the ceiling under the pipe causing significant damage. They deny responsibility while the timeline and facts point the other way. A $300 fix turned into a $3,000 damage repair. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the insulation was done properly.

They had to remove the old insulation in the attic, which can be a difficult task due to the small size of the attic, but they got it all. Throughout, they were tidy and efficient.
