This worked out great. Richard followed up on my request right away and set up an appountment for the following day. He said to buy the locks I want (he made some brand recommmendations) and he would work with whatever choices I wanted. When he arrived I actually had additional locks I was hoping to install, along with a keypad lock and he not only had no problem with the change in plans but took the time to explain everything he was doing and why (some damage to the doors required a change of plans). He took his time, listened to my requests and did great work. Overall this was fast, friendly service and I felt his price was very fair. Would 100% use Richard again without hesitation.

I can not emphasize enough the promptness, politeness and professionalism provided by Richard. I had spent the previous day, trying to no avail, to install a double keyed deadbolt for our side garage door. Finally I gave up and came across Home Locksmith USA on Angie's List. I contacted Richard the following Sunday morning about 8:30am and he was here within an hour! His travel time alone was probably somewhere between 30-45 minutes, which should really emphasize his promptness! As he took me through the installation process he explained what he was doing as well as highlighting the steps where I had trouble. He understood it could be tricky which made me feel better. The job he did was AMAZING!! I was so pleased! In addition I was going to have him install a replacement lock/handle for a french door because of a color change. Right away (and before I opened up the packaging), he recognized it was incompatible with the current locking system. Unless I could find the exact match, he recommended not messing with it to avoid more headaches. His honesty in the end saved me even more money! Any locking need, look no further than Richard Baxter!! Thank you Richard for all you did!!

Mr. Baxter explained what I would need, why one style was better than another, and what brand he recommended. I purchased the locks and door knobs myself at Lowe's. He explained what he was doing and did a good job getting everything installed. His price was a little less than other quotes I had gotten and he gave an Angie's list discount. My only issue was that I would have hoped he would have cleaned up the debris and dust more.

Took him time to figure out front door lock could not be rekeyed but french door and patio door could be set to same lock as front door. Paid $19 to Angie's List but was charged over $100 for complete service.

Just fine. He was able to put Original know back on door. The deadbolt wasn't consistent with same height as others, like he didn't measure or was just off. Showed up, did work, and was professional.
