He began work without wasting time, while explaining what he was doing at every step. He gave tips when appropriate. He was professional and had all necessary equipement on his person. <br /> I would recommend this service.  <br /> In addition, for an additional $100.00, Homepro will return to make sure that the seller has completed the necessary repairs prior to closing. This feature is useful if you do not trust the seller or selling agent. We did not elect this service, but, it was nice to know that it was available. <br />

I was really pleased with Toms's attention to details while inspecting the property. I was able to ask the sellers to perform the major repairs the property needed. It saved me a lot of money. <br /> <br /> Tom however did not go on the roof to inspect it. He looked at it and told me its in good shape.

I had a really good experience with Tom O'Connor. He scheduled quickly and arrived on time. He had me stay with him during the inspection and pointed out things as we went along. He showed me problem areas, explained why they were a problem, and suggested how to fix them. He also reviewed maintenance of things like the boiler and air conditioning. His report arrived on the day he said it would be complete. When he returned in a few days to pick up the radon test he also completed a portion of the inspection of the roof that he couldn't do initially because of snow. His report reflected everything we had talked about and did include the home maintenance points as well. And the report is easy to understand. He confirmed for me that I was getting a good, solid house and that the things that need to be fixed are manageable.

I specifically wanted an inspector that would be honest with me and not just gloss over costly problems with the homes we planned to buy. I've heard a lot of inspectors don't like to be "deal breakers" who get blacklisted from the realtors. I was nervous about the first home because we knew it needed work, but we are first time home buyers and weren't sure just what we were getting into. Thankfully, we chose the right inspector. Tom was thorough and noted every problem with the house. He caught a slight bulge in the basement wall that wouldn't have been permitted with our FHA loan. Although the owners could have fixed it first, there were several other major things we hadn't caught. We decided to pass on that house and went with another. We thought the second time around we had made a more informed choice (and it was a more expensive house). But again, Tom caught several things we had not seen. I also made several follow up calls about the details of his inspection, and he returned my calls each time, patiently answering my questions and explaining additional information. We appreciated Tom's honesty, professionalism, and thoroughness.

Inspector was on time and explained everything to me. The report was returned a few days later and contained the current condition of the house I was buying, as well as preventive maintenance tips I should know. Coming from someone who doesn't know too much about home repair, I was thankful for the inspector's patience and willingness to explain all the details.

They were very detailed in inspecting everything that was needed to be done. Everything was done very thoroughly and they were able to make things clear to me about what was found and what was needing to bring up to code.

I was extremely pleased with this experience. Tom was punctual, organized, knowledgeable, & personable. He recommended things he thought I should do to the property & provided maintenance tips on just about everything. The report he emailed me 2 days later was exhaustive & easily comprehensible. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH, BUT NOT AN ALARMIST. HIS REPORT CONTAINED NUMEROUS USEFUL TIPS FOR HOME MAINTENANCE. HE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AS I HAD A SHORT TIME FRAME IN WHICH TO GET THIS DONE. HE WAS VERY AGREEABLE IN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE. I THINK HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

OUTSTANDING. I HIRED HOME PRO TO INSPECT OUR NEWLY CONSTRUCTED RYAN HOME. THERE WERE NO MAJOR PROBLEMS BUT TOM FOUND THINGS THAT I NEVER WOULD HAVE FOUND. THE ATTACHED SUNROOM NEEDED A VENT ON THE ROOF, HE INSISTED THAT TWO OUTSIDE STEPS HAVE A CONCRETE FOUNDATION BELOW THE FROST LINE, THE EYES FOR THE ELECTRIC GARAGE WERE INSTALLED TOO HIGH, HE ARGUED THAT THE SMALL SPACE WHERE TWO LEVELS OF CONCRETE MET COULD NOT BE BACK-FILLED WITH DIRT (AS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED OTHERWISE). TOM ALSO EPXLAINED IN DETAIL THE MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES FURNACE , WATER HEATER ETC. HE WAS 1/2 HOUR LATE - BUT NOT HIS FAULT ( ACCIDENT ON ROAD).

WORKED EASILY WITH MY SCHEDULE, ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, DID NOT TAKE A LONG TIME, EXPLAINED THOROUGHLY, ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS, AND EVEN RESPONDED AND ANSWERED A QUESTION A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER THE INSPECTION. PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

WE HAD A HOME INSPECTION PERFORMED ON A CONDO MY MOTHER IS IN THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING. MR. O'CONNOR WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, AND THOROUGH. WE GOT THE REPORTS QUICKLY, AND THEY WERE WELL-ORGANIZED, DETAILED, AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. HIS STAFF IS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.

THE INSPECTOR WAS VERY DETAILED IN HIS INVESTIGATION. HE LOOKED INTO AREAS THAT I WAS NOT EXPECTING. VERY OPEN TO ANSWER ANY QUESTION THAT I HAD ON-SITE. PROVIDED A 20 PAGE WRITTEN REPORT TO FOLLOW UP MANUAL INVESTIGATION.

MR. O'CONNOR PROVIDED A THOROUGH INSPECTION AND REPORT. WE WERE PLEASED WITH HIS SERVICE.
