This company was a really great option for me. I used them to install our new water heater. I didn't want the standard one, though. I wanted a more energy efficient heat pump. This company came in, gave a fair estimate and gave some strong discounts. They were on time and professional. I would definitely recommend them for the future.

Home Rx added R49 insulation, more ventilation and sealed everything in my attic. They also added insulation under my floor in my crawl space (there was previously none). They also cleaned everything out (it was filthy), laid down a new vapor barrier, replaced all insulation on my ducts/pipes and sealed everything. There were very fast, professional and clean. I took advantage of all applicable Energy Trust savings (Home Rx took care of all the paperwork) which saved me A LOT of money. The cost to have all this done (and more) was significantly less than the other bids I received and Home Rx actually provided more service and higher grade insulation than what the others were offering. We hear less noise from outside the house and it cools and maintains a temperature much better than before. I look forward to see how things change in the winter.

The installation team was in time, clean and courteous. The work was performed as discussed. Royce was good at helping bridge a gap between the first visit and scheduling and payment deposit. I was able to schedule to a day and time of my need to be home. The overall insulation improvement to my garage and home attic is noticeable, specifically in helping reduce the temp during our current heat wave.

We needed a cavity below our living room bay window filled with blown-in insulation. We were worried that a contractor would not be interested in such a small job. Fortunately, HomeRx came to the rescue with a prompt response and reasonable quote. Samuel got us on the schedule the next week! The installation crew was fantastic. They arrived on time and took great care to protect our living room from insulation debris. They drilled four small holes into the drywall and filled the entire cavity with insulation. Next they did a very professional job to spackle the holes and cleaning up the work area. We could not have been more pleased and will definitely contact with HomeRx for future home projects.

The entire job was done in a day. The guys were polite and careful, and considerate of our belongings. The closet was patched and you can hardly tell where they drilled in. They cleaned up after the job and all was done very well. We would hire them again, for sure.

Sean was thorough and patient in answering our questions. Installers did photos before and after and were great about handling customizations onsite. Very competitively priced and I would recommend them to anyone!

The price and work performed were a huge value compared to the other quotes (I had 5 quotes and they came in half of the cost of most of the bids and the quality of work seems perfectly acceptable in my non-professional opinion). They ran out of crews the day the work was scheduled though. I had already modified my work schedule for this day so they sent out a crew in the afternoon to start the job. They then scheduled to finish the job the next day I was available, so that was appreciated. Crew was quick and respectful.

Emailed Performance Insulation to get info/estimate on an attic upgrade. Received a prompt response from Ian with whom I soon after talked with about the job. He was very thorough in acquiring the information needed and explaining the process. He came out the next week to inspect the attic and finalize the estimate. Ian was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. A crew arrived later that week (early) to do the job and also were awesome in doing a great job and going above and beyond. Very satisfied with Performance Insulation.

Overall the installation was fine but honestly, I don't see any difference in what they did. It's really hard to get a hold of somebody at their company. The staff at their company does not seem to know what they are talking about or what they are doing. It took several phone calls for me to even get an appointment with them. They went ahead and scheduled this and never even called us to tell us. I had to call them and find out that we had already been scheduled so I had to change the date because it would coincide with our business plans.

Our estimate was prepared by David Vollan and the work was done by a Seattle team in Seattle. <br /> David spent hours examining our house in order to get us the best insulation he could because he truly loves his craft. His original estimate included significantly more work at twice the price. Through a couple conversations, we were able to pinpoint the most important target areas that fit out budget, which included David knocking down the labor rates to get a sufficient product to meet our budget.  <br /> The work was performed according to the agreement and was inspected by PSE in order to get an energy rebate. The PSE inspector thought that the work was performed very well and I agree. <br />

Excellent. Showed up on time the day scheduled. Worked within my schedule and timeframe. The project manager, Travis, is well knowledgeable and professional. His intelligence, passion for home performance and energy efficiency was a huge asset to me as we designed the best weatherization remodel possible for the home. His concern and attention to the details made it a pleasure to deal with him. The installers were professional, courteous, and extremely concerned about dust and site protection of the home which is very rare from my past experiences. I could go on. Great company! <br />
