"Thank you for your review. I am the lady you referred to and I know exactly what transpired so I will be happy to explain once again why they did not want to clean your chimney. You had so much creosote built up that a mere chimney sweep would not have remedied your problem. We did not want to take your money to do a sweep that would not sufficiently clean it. Because you insisted, we did the sweep and left you an estimate of $1000.00 for a chain whipping which was what you really needed. As far as the invoice, the amount was for $59.40 which is what we were given for this job from Angie's List. I explained that you had your receipt from them for $99.00 but for our records we put the amount that we actually received as payment. I also explained that our coupon is only for a fireplace sweep and that we would inspect the heating system but we do not clean it for that price and you would need to pay an additional amount. We inspected and left you an estimate for work that was needed. We never do cement work in extreme cold or when it rains because the cement will not dry properly and then we would have to come back and re do the work. We're sorry you're unhappy but we did our best to explain to you what you paid for and what you needed."

While we cannot speak about the quality of the cleaning as we are unable to see that, we would be happy to come back and check the work. As far as your other ratings and time that we took to clean it, we do have a discrepancy. You rated us C for responsiveness, however, you bought the service on 9/1/16 and you were booked that very same day. You gave us a B for punctuality, however, you were in a 9-12 slot and the technicians arrived at 10:40 am, which is within the appointment slot. You claimed that they were there for 10 minutes but our tracking system tells us that they arrived at 10:40 am and they left at 11:09 am. That is sufficient time to do a fireplace sweep. Again, if you would like to call the office, we would be happy to come back out and take a look at the work performed as we appreciate our customers and their business. Thank you."
"Thank you for your review. We're not sure if you have us confused with another company, though. We were there on 3/16/16 because your plumber advised you to call us due to a draft problem with your heating system chimney flue. In your case, a cleaning would not have solved your problem. We relined your chimney as was needed to get your flue drafting and up to safety standards."
