EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT COMPANY

<p>Upon returning to my house I discovered the air conditioner was not working. On the recommendation of my son and daughter I called Hometown AC and Clint and Jesse come out within two hour to evaluate the problem. They determined my old air conditioner was toast and arranged for a new system to be installed Monday morning. Since it was Father's day weekend they provided me with a portable air conditioner for the weekend. Their crew showed up on Monday morning and had the system installed within 3-4 hours. They seem to go out of their way to accommodate the client. The crew was friendly and conscientious. </p>

Excellent workmanship.   Unit is working great.   My unit stopped working just before the 4th of Jul.   Clint provided me with a mobile A/C unit to help us keep cool until Monday when the unit was replaced.   His team was very professional and did a great job. <br />

However, there are certain people who deserve to be recognized for their outstanding service. I would happily recommend Hometown Heating & Cooling to work on my house again. More than their ability to get the job done, is their  honesty and Integrity. No job is without problems, but it's those problems that allow you to see whether your dealing with a reputable contractor. The gentleman was polite and told me his price with parts and labor. Then I asked him can I buy the part and install it my-self. <br /> He said sure can which was very kind of him and he even came back to show me where I had one wire off to make it work. <br /> I would use him again if I wasn't moving out-of-state so if you need a/c heating service done call this man and you wont be unsatisfied. He will do it right and give you the right price. <br />

They are A+ service providers. They are punctual and we have actually used them three times. They are the one that we will use forever and we will never change them. Their pricing is reasonable.

I had a positive experience, he was friendly, knowledgeable.

He took his time going over every inch of the air conditioner.  He gave us a complete verbal report as well as written report on the condition of the air conditioner and answered our questions in great detail and did not rush even though he had other appointments. He was very professional and courteous at all times and we were very pleased with his work.  We plan on having him come back every year and we would highly recommend this company.

Questioned the high price but did not want to use williams a/c again because they made too many mistakes(including putting in too much freon). The tech was very knowledgable.

We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Discussed the situation with my husband and we decided on the new filter which would have to be ordered. Scheduled the installation appointment for a few days later. They were very knowledgeable, efficient,  and friendly. The only downside to the whole situation is not being here when they said they would. My husband was home, so it was not a problem for us, but could have been if either of us were scheduling to be here. Supposed to be here at 4 and called at 6:30 to say it would be the next day. However, they finished the job quickly and dust in our house has disappeared! It used to be so frustrating to dust the furniture and then see it again by later in the day!

At my annual inspection by a different company, I was told a part (whose name I can't remember) was restricted and needed to be replaced. They quoted me $846 to do the work. I called the company that installed the system and they quoted me $640 and explained that since they would need to come from San Antonio they needed to include travel time. Then I found Hometown appliance on Angie's List. He was up front about how he bills, gave me an estimate over the phone of what it would cost to do what the original technician said needed doing. But, he also offered to come and check the diagnosis to make sure the work really needed to be done. When they came, they discovered the leak in the coil. Coincidentally, replacing the coil also included replacing the part I was originally told about. So the worked with me an Carrier to have the coils sent and they came and installed it, very professionally, very helpful people. So let me summarize all the value I got. I got a free diagnosis, I got an accurate diagnosis, and I got it repaired for $300 less that what was quoted me from somebody I know assume are crooks. I got great value and great service from Hometown Appliance.

They were absolutely wonderful, friendly, professional and very prompt! We would definitely use them again!! They are a family-run business and we were quite impressed with their work and professional attitude.

Called 4 different companys for estimates and when Hometown Heating and Cooling showed up and I told them what I needed Clint did not hesitate and said yes we can do that at the price that you are looking for. The other companys did not display the same can do as Clint displayed. Clint and Wes arrived to install the new air handler, which was a Carrier and not a second rate unit. I myself have worked in the field of air conditioning but have a few years on me now and not able to lift. I watch these two gentlemen and everything they did on the installation was exactly the way I do business. It is refreshing to see such qualified craftsmen. From beginning to end was flawless.
