We want to start by saying that Travis did a good job completing the project, and we are happy with the finished product. He even lowered the price when he realized the workload was smaller than originally expected, which we appreciated. Our biggest concern was communication. We were almost always the ones reaching out for updates and to find out when they would be coming. At times, it felt like our project was not a priority. The timeline was also an issue. The project ultimately took about two weeks, whereas we were originally told it would take approximately three days total. Additionally, part of the project involved painting the mantle. When it was first completed, the workmanship was very poor. We contacted Travis, and to his credit, he did make it right by purchasing and painting a new mantle. However, this did add additional time to the project. Lastly, while Travis appears to do good work, we did not see him on-site very often. The two workers he had did not seem experienced

I had a number of small projects done: 5 light fixtures replaced, 1 new fixture installed, switches replaced and an accordion-fold closet door installed. All were accomplished professionally and the workman left worksites clean.

He was very professional and self-sufficient throughout the entire process. He arrived right on time, brought everything he needed, and got straight to work without needing any extra direction. He fixed my drawer quickly and efficiently, with great attention to detail. Overall, he was dependable, polite, and clearly takes pride in doing quality work.

I contacted him with a very small task today but it meant alot to me. I am extremely pleased with the responsiveness, communication and the way he cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely be using in the future.

Travis has been so easy to work with. He gave us a good quote to redo our bathroom, tearing out an old tub and tile around the tub, new toilet and new vanity top, along with painting and new baseboards and was helpful in picking our fixtures when we had questions about them. He did excellent work and we are very happy with the result.

Travis is a hard dedicated worker that loves making your experience great he remodeled my bathroom and I love it. If you need projects done around your home he is the one.

Travis worked with me on some repairs to my garage's fascia and soffit, as well as some gutter installation, and I'm quite pleased the results! He was transparent at all times, worked with me on my off-shift availablity with time slots, made sure I was aware of every action throughout the process on my property, and ensured I was satisfied with the results. I really like the work of Honest Handyman of Rockford. Last year he replaced for me my side steps which had a a bad spot and my backyard patio which hadn't been redone in 40 years. They both had needed work and he did a great job replacing them. This year he and his crew built a porch and a ramp on the front of my house. Now I can enjoy sitting outside on the porch and looking at my flowers.
