Honey Do did an excellent job. He removed the old 1950's metal unit and replaced it with a very nice modern kitchenette. His attention to detail was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure the project was installed on a tight time table.

We are repairing our house after the August 2016 flood. We found Ryan Hord through Angie's List and were a bit nervous about hiring someone without any personal recommendations. Overall we had a very positive experience with Ryan. He was quick to come out to give us a quote on installing trim. After talking a short while we realized he could do a number of other jobs as well. While it did ultimately take longer than originally projected, we are very happy with the results. His work is neat and professional; he was concerned with the aesthetic appeal of the final result. We had a lot of back and forth getting the right paperwork etc to our mortgage company, Ryan was accommodating and helpful getting everything we needed. After he finished, we noticed something that was skipped. Ryan was prompt to come back and fix it. We are very pleased with our experience working with Ryan and are thrilled with the work he did in our home.

The drywall was fair, a lot of the electrical outlet where not cut out to fix the outlets themselves, so I had to buy over-sized face-plates in order to cover up the mistakes, the doors and trim for the most part came of pretty good, some of the painting on the doors needed to be redone, because the paint was sprayed on unevenly, the hanging of the doors and trim work was pretty good. the installation of the tub and shower, was not done very well, some of the lines did not match up, and the shower head kept dripping when toggling between the bathtub and the shower itself, and he did not come back to finish up the drywall around the bath and tub insert, or the baseboard trim work, which he said he would do. I really liked Ryan as a person, and I thought that he would be a man of his word, so I made the mistake of paying him in full for the unfinished work, because I thought that he could be trusted, to do what he said he would, however I had to find out the hard way, that this was not the case. after leaving him several text messages, asking him when he would be coming back to finish the work that had been paid for, I got no responses from him. so I have to hire someone else to finish up what I had already paid for. I really hate writing anything negative about anyone, because I know that this is their profession and livelihood, However I have to be honest, so that no one else would have to go through the same thing that I did.

The bed was fixed within three hours of calling. The tenant was happy and I, the owner, was equally satisfied. The cost included materials and labor.

Ryan is a great person. His price for services was fair, and he came earlier than originally anticipated. Even though the job was small, he didn't make me feel like a "small customer." He even helped my husband carry a heavy piece of furniture into the house when he saw me struggling, and he gave a recommendation for cleaning services that I'm going to use. I would tell anyone to use this provider!
"Customer called and asked us to hang a flat screen tv. While there we ended up hanging some shelves and artwork. Great customer, looking forward to assisting customer on the next job."

"Customer had us rebuild their storage room doors. The doors were plywood with a Masonite siding covering the plywood. We trimmed the doors in a treated 2x4 and re hung the doors with the existing piano hinges. Customer was pleased with our work. We look forward to serving these customers again."

Ryan was professional and courteous. The work was done efficiently and to my husbands exacting standards.
We had an odd list of things that needed to be fixed and Ryan and his team handled them all.
Response from Honey Do Handyman
"Installed recessed can lights (LED) in the livingroom. Replaced Masonite siding with hardy board siding as well replaced corner molding. Painted an extreamly high chimney on a 8/12 pitch roof. Not easy! Customers were great, really enjoyed the visit while we worked. Look forward to the next repair."

"Mounted 3 flat screen TV's for customer. As stated above the price isn't cheap. There is a lot of liability in mounting expensive flat screen TV's. But with Honey Do Home repair the job is done well, and done right!"

"Customer called about touching up some baseboards. Unfortunately their shower was leaking and I had to cut out half of the Sheetrock in the bathroom and bedroom. Rebuilt a custom shower with all new fixtures. The bathroom came out awesome! Customer was extremely happy with my work, and we formed a great relationship despite a bad situation. Great people to work for."

"Replaced a garbage disposal. Also replaced a few outlets. As the comments say, not cheap. But as they say good work is not cheap, and cheap work is not good! As professional licensed electrician has to carry liability coverage which isn't cheap. Honey Do does it right!"
