It was done well and on time.  I have zero complaints.

Some crooks smashed in the back door window and bent the door. I called Mr. Hooks and he came right out that evening to board up the window until he could get a new door. While replacing the door he also cleaned up some water damage and repainted. Very happy with the work and the quick response. <br />

He did a great job and was very professional,  would definitely use again in the future.

Went well. Came out and gave an estimate. The person was courteous. Came back shortly, when the doors came in and replaced everything. Looks good. Very happy with the work.

We contacted Hooks Remodeling & Repair to do a list of items that needed to be done around our home. Some items we had been able to do in the past but physically are unable to do any longer. The biggest item was to paint the exterior of the house, including replacing some siding boards; painting some rooms in the interior as well as all of the interior trim (and there is a lot). Other things were: fix an outside Florida room door that would not close anymore (in order for it to close we had to use the deadblock lock. Once we used that, then we couldn't get the door open); clean and restain the deck which included replacing some boards; clean all the gutters; replace two bathroom faucets;replace a kitchen faucet; replace a light above the kitchen sink; and repaint our front door.Eric was prompt in coming to the house to provide an estimate. He walked around the house with me & pointed out the areas that he felt needed extra attention. We agreed to the price which included everything he was going to need.to complete the job (except faucets & lighting). Other companies I had to get all the supplies and this was not a chore I wanted to take on. I prefer the contractor get the items they need. That way I know they have the right items. I picked out the paint colors & just gave him the brand & numbers.We were going to be out of town when they needed to start the job. He had a lockbox (like realtors) and came in & started the job while we were away. This was a big help. They moved all of the furniture & put it back when they finished. Any pictures or other items they moved were also put back (even upside down like I had them - now that is paying attention to detail) I could find no paint splatters or drops anywhere inside so either they are VERY good or do a great job of cleaning up.When they moved to the outside, they did a lot of prep work and a great paint job. Eric even made some suggestios that turned out to be great and made a big difference. The pressure wash they did on the house almost made the house look good enough not to have to paint (but we did). I think he may think twice the next time someone wants to re-paint their front door red though. ha ha. They were very punctual and Eric kept me updated as to everything he was doing & when. His workers were very polite & professional. Everyday before they left they cleaned up and put their supplies away neatly. We only had one sort of blip of the entire job and it was a misunderstanding and was taken care of promptly and professionally and it turned out just fine. I am very pleased with all of the work that Eric & his crew did. In my mind it was a lot & they got it completed right on time. I love driving into my driveway and admiring the work. I would highly recommend Hooks Remodeling & Repair to anyone needing just about anything done. If there was a little something that Eric saw that needing doing he did it. I had a problem with my disposal one day and he fixed it in about a minute. I have had other repairmen in my home over the 10 years we have lived there & I can not in sincerity say the same thing about most of them.Thank you Ericeplace

Eric was very prompt in his response to my calls.  He and his staff were punctual, professional, friendly, and courteous.  They did excellent work and were very respectful of my home and possessions. I would definitely hire them again.

I had contacted someone else first, but their prices were crazy. Hooks did the job for less than half of what they were going to charge me. I gave them a B instead of an a because the job only required some nails to repair. I notched it up as the price you pay for not having a two story latter. The response time was fine, the professionalism was fine, and Mr Hooks was easy to talk to. The siding actually blew back down but he came back out and fixed it for free.

It went as well as we had hoped it would. They were in and out and the job was done.

Mr. Hooks came out and gave me a free estimate.  The next day he emailed me a  written proposal which I accepted.  He began the work the very next day .  I was very happy with the work and the materials used.

Overall it went well.  Mr. Eric Hooks was very responsive in coming to give estimate.  Started kitchen and living room work as per our agreement, finished as contracted.  Did a great job at a fair price. I then hired Eric to enlarge wood fence gate, fix front yard pole lighting and sensor.  I needed the fence gate enlarged pretty quickly so truck and tree removal equipment could get through the gate. He accomplished the enlargement as promised.  The electrical outlet installation, light & sensor repair/replacement  and fence work required some revisits for adjustments but overall Mr. Hooks and his team does quality work and are very curtious and professional.  I  recommend his services to others and I would/will hire his company again.

He came to perform the work in the timeframe he said he would. The final cost was the same as the estimate and the quality of the work was very good. Overall I'm very happy with the service Mr. Hooks performed and will use him again.

Eric and his crew were very professional and also friendly.  He had his crew split so both big projects were ongoing at the same time.  He was aware that we were on a set move-in schedule and did everything possible to have all work completed at time of move-in.   I am so happy with the painting.  It took some creativity to cover some of the colors we had and getting the trim to look so much better.  During the time they were working, we kept asking to add this or that, and every time were told "no problem". <br /> I highly recommend their services and their professionalism.

It did not go well.  He came by himself and cleaned some leaves off the roof.  He did not clean any of the stain off the roof and he did not replace the rubber boot around the vents on the roof as we had contracted.  He partially sprayed some product on my deck.  He also repaired an area of my roof with masking tape and painted over it, which came off the first time it rained.  He partially applied some off brand water sealant to my deck.  He never finished the projects and when I called him about it he said that he was not coming back.  I made several calls to him and he told me that he could not afford the sealant to apply to the deck. 

I called on a Thursday night after trying to remove the wallpaper myself (and failed).  I received a phone call Friday morning and had a man at my house Friday afternoon to look at what I needed.  I decided to have them remove all of the wallpaper from the master bath, guest bath and kitchen.  I also had them paint.  They had to sand most of the wallpaper off in the master bath due to the chemicals that I had tried to use to bring it down.  <br /> <br /> They scheduled an appointment to come back the following Monday to begin work.  It took them 3 days to remove wallpaper from 3 rooms (2 of which were large) and paint all 3 rooms.  Some of the places they painted, the paint is thin enough to see through but they left us the remaining paint so we took care of it.  They did leave droplets of paint in one bathroom so they had to come back out and to remove the splatter.  They did come back out the very next morning. <br /> <br /> When it came time to pay, I was told that they did not accept credit cards anymore so I did have to scramble a little to get $1800 in cash as my bank has a daily limit on the amount I can withdraw in a day.  That was very frustrating and stressful but it all worked out. <br /> <br /> Overall, I am very happy with this company.  Without their willingness to help me out as soon as possible, I think my husband would have had a heart attack when he walked in the door.

Eric responded to our request for a quote promptly, and started and ended work as scheduled.  Work was very well done.  A lot of heavy furniture had to be moved and that was accomplished without damage.  Both he and his crew were very friendly and went out of their way to please.  Excellent service!

Great from first call for appointment for estimate until finished project. VERY pleased with estimate, work ethic, knowing how to do a professional job first class and helpful with all our questions. Will do other work for us later.

Answered my initial call promptly, arrived on time for the estimate. He and his help were very professional, they came when they said they would and caused almost no inconvenience for me or my family. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Price was exactely as agreed.

Calls were always answered. Options were discussed and a quote provided for each. Work was completed ahead of estimated time. Will definitely recommend to others.

Everything was good except for his time. it took too much time. He went past the time of the contract. His paint work was excellent.

Hooks gave an estimate the next business day after I called and scheduled the work for one week later. He and an assistant came on time and did the job in a morning. The results look pretty good, although there some gaps and exposed upainted surfaces on the adjacent cabinets because of the difference in the designs of the ranges. But Hooks was up front about the cosmetic aspect of it and didn't quote me for a complete finish. He gave advice on finding inexpensive products to finish it myself.

I love my kitchen now, it has a more modern and clean look as opposed to the look beforehand. Mr. Hook's and his crew where there early mornings and were trusted with my home for nearly two weeks till the job was completed. Not only do I have the company for the rest of my remodeling jobs (which I am in the process of getting) but I feel I've gained a good friend.

We are moving and needed to have repairs completed quickly so we could put the house on the market. We called Mr. Hooks for an estimate, he came the same day and provided the estimate in less than 24 hours. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and immediately started the repairs. The repairs are so professionally done and match the house so closely that you can not tell the area has been repaired. After making the repairs, he cleaned up so well that you could not tell he had been working in the area. If we were not moving out of the area, he would be the only handyman we would call.

I expected it to take a couple of weeks and twice as much according to the other quotes I had gotten. Because Mr. Hooks could perform all of the task that I had requested I believe this why it took less time and money. Also by him personally doing the work instead of hiring other less knowledgable subs there was a proud since of accomplishment in the finished product. for this reason I will have him back and refer him to all my friends and family.
