Hoosier Mover

They moved some large furniture items from a 2nd floor apartment to the 1st floor. What I thought would have took an hour was done in 25 minutes. They were fast, kind and I would definitely hire them again if need be .

The two young men were very nice and professional and were great for the items that I needed to be moved.

The men were early and worked steadily for four hours. They were very polite. They were efficient and thoughtful.

Wonderfully! Nice people! Crew of 2 very kind. Introduced themselves and checked out placement before bringing couch in. Couch was very well wrapped and protected. Called on Wed. and move scheduled for Sat. Fee included insurance. No hidden fees/costs.

It was a better experience that I had even hoped for. Very fast and friendly people.

I had a good experience with them. I thought the price was very fair. I was very satisfied. It took just a morning, like 3 or 4 hours. I was surprised. They went all the way to Dyer and back. The workers were very nice. I was just real impressed with how they handled the granite, you have to be really careful so it doesn’t crack.

Had to call + email to get response regarding confirmation of date and time. Was told I was confirmed for 1 pm on a Friday and 2 movers plus a truck would be showing up. Flash forward to that Friday and at 1:30 I am calling and emailing since I didn't hear from them. They show up at 1:45 with a pickup truck and a mowing trailer. It's 3 guys instead of 2. The guys do a decent job and are professional and courteous. However, I definitely expected a moving truck and for my items to be in an enclosed container for the move. At the very end of the loading process, one of the movers leaned over the side of my personal truck (a 2015 Nissan Frontier) while wearing his lifting harness. It scratched the truck 6-8 inches in length. I texted the owner, Jim, to tell him about this at the end of the day when the scratch was noticed. I had already wrote a check and sent the guys home. He asked if it could be buffed out. Took it to Nissan where they attempted to buff it. It did not work and now our truck has $700 worth of damage to it. Guess what? Calls and texts and emails regarding this have not been returned. I even forwarded the copy of the body shop estimate. Not expecting the full amount to be paid by Jim, but find it bad business practices to completely ignore the entire issue. Would not recommend. Would not use again.

Great. the Guys met me at the IL house, loaded up the truck, met me at the NW Indiana house and put everything in it's place. Very professional and affordable. Would recommend to anyone.

Both times they showed up when they said they would. All workers were neat in appearance, polite, and hard workers. Price was very reasonable and right at the estimate. Wonderful experience!

I was easily able to arrange for the service at a time and date convenient to me.  Jim and Nate showed up on time and move my boat quickly and carefully.  I am very happy with their service and will gladly use them again in the fall, or whenever I have a moving project that requires some heavy lifting.

The move went quickly. The three mover's worked as a team. They gave tips to make the loading faster and balanced the load to travel best. Unloading went faster,they were very efficient. No damage to the new house (this was very important, as we just had the entire house freshly painted). They moved everything in less than 4 hours, which was amazing since we had a lot of big items to move. The movers were courteous and professional. When I asked if I could do anything to help, they told me to just relax and let them take care of it. I had a very heavy sleeper sofa that needed to be moved from one room to another at the new house. They moved it for me, no problem. This was a huge help. It allowed me to situate my furniture in the rooms I wanted. I will be recommending Hoosier Mover to friends and neighbors.

Jim & his team were awesome. They arrived on time and had a great can do attitude. They never complained and even smiled most of the time. I will use them again & would tell other to do it again. To contrast, we had called other movers and they complained about various things. Not the case with Hoosier Movers. BIG thumbs up!

The boys who moved us were extremely nice....but I was surprised they were just that boy both 19 I believe. They did a good job. My fiancee did have a few issues with way things were being stacked in the trailer and they moved things around. They biggest complaint was they didn't have blankets or booties to wear when coming in and out of the house. We have hard wood floors in new home and it was a very snowy day unfortunately so alot of snow and water got dragged into the wood and the carpet in upstairs and basement. Also they did show up over an hour late

Got return message within 1/2 hour and had arrangements made immediately. Showed up on time (even a few minutes early) and worked quickly and efficiently. I needed furniture moved from main level and garage into basement and was so happy they could accommodate me right away.

They we fast, responsive, and communicated well. They also got back to me from a message I sent them within thirty minutes. This is the third time that I have used them and will use Hoosier Mover again.

Jim and Brian handled my furniture and effects with "kid gloves," were courteous, friendly, professional, efficient, and highly skilled.  I highly recommend Hoosier Movers for all these reasons, and additionally, the cost.  Their price was fair, and better than all the other quotes I collected.  Awesome experience!  They made a stressful day much more pleasant for me.
