I contracted with Horizon Construction & Remodeling to remodel my kitchen, which included all new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliance installation, and lighting, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. Horizon also replaced cabinets in the dining room, removed blinds, and patched and painted several rooms. David was our project manager. I highly recommend working with both Horizon and David. He provided an accurate estimate for the work, started and completed the work on time, and was always pleasant and responsive when I had questions. It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests. The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up as they went along. Horizon also operates a showroom in Fullerton, so I was able to see options in situ, not just small samples. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions. The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. When it comes time to remodel our bathrooms, I will be calling Horizon again!

A friend referred me to David at Horizon in 2017 when a bathroom renovation/upgrade was required after car accident. His team miraculously converted a 1965 bathroom into a show room design with a beautiful walk-in shower. It’s a challenge with a one-bathroom condo but David & his team made it possible for me to stay in my home the entire time. He was always available by phone/text for even the smallest concern. I reached out to David again this year for repairs due to root damage from common area trees. Most of the damage was at the front of my house but I did ask David to remove the popcorn ceiling in my living/dining rooms where there was a crack in the middle of the condo. To match my new smooth ceiling, the living/dining rooms were painted to give a complete clean look. I purchased my front door which Horizon installed, and David selected the beautiful sliding glass/screen door. I was pleasantly surprised with the new technology and how easily they glide open. The team also replaced the front entry tile which I had previously purchased. Outside, a partial replacement of a fence, demo of old cracked patio, and new cement patio installed. I was told a brush technique was used so I wouldn’t slip if the patio was wet. What great enhancement! They even patched the old stucco and painted. It felt like a new home. Thanks to David and his team for their excellent work! You weren’t just completing a job; you were making a difference in my day-to-day life.

This is our second project together with Horizon Construction and remodeling and we have been very pleased with the work done. Mark was there all the way to supervise the workers. The workers showed up on time, did excellent work and cleaned up after. Would recommend them for your remodeling jobs

Working with Horizon Construction was a very positive experience. Initial discussions with David, my Project Manager, were creative and resulted in a beautiful Mediterranean design to transform the street-facing view of my house. Materials were high quality and sub-contractors were professional, friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. David assured that the project moved at a timely pace, visited often, kept me appraised of every step in the process, and was always responsive to my questions and concerns. David Eskin and his team at Horizon Construction & Remodeling are top notch! Everyone on his team had a task and did it very well. The ladies in the office were very helpful and Gisell Velasco kept us informed all throughout the project. The electrician team, drywall team and the tile person all did fabulous jobs. Most notably is Sal, the tile guy. His workmanship is top notch and we were very impressed with his eye for detail. We also have to give credit to the rest of the people that worked on the master bathroom project. The framers, the hot mop guy and the guys that completed all the finishing details. They all did their jobs well. Our custom vanity is absolutely beautiful. The custom color, vanity and linen towers look like pieces of furniture. The detailing and design were exactly what we requested. Also, a very big shout out to David Eskin, the project manager on the job. He always kept us updated on the project and if there was any small issue he dealt with it immediately. All in all, David and his team met all of our requests and the master bathroom looks beautiful.

I hired Horizon to do a 500 sq ft home addition in 2003. While there are some hiccups, overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work and confident that the structure is sound. Just ensure you include absolutely everything in the contract as it is much easier to negotiate before you sign. I am particularly pleased with the work of Nestor (painting and molding guy) and Jason (electrician) but disappointed that we can't move the furnace. They gave you a very clear estimate and broke down the payments in many phases which I appreciated. The communication with the project manager Michael was good but you did need to utilize your negotiation skills. I got a lot of compliments from the neighbors passing by my house and it was wonderful to move back to my familiar but better home. I am now waiting for them to add attic access which I didn't realize I needed (but was included in the project). Hopefully, it will be done soon.

I had the pleasure of working with Michaelangelo from Horizon Construction & Remodeling. My project was a 11 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. What started as a kitchen and living room remodel of a 1925 hillside home, turned into a full tear down and rebuild due to framing that turned out to be beyond repair when we were in the demo phase. Horizon turned a potential high-stress home rebuild into a masterpiece of home for my family. I cannot recommend Mike and Horizon Construction & Remodeling enough! It definitely was a lot of work, and it was not built in day, but I will forever be grateful for my forever home! When it was all said and done, I believe their pricing was extremely fair and I am positive I got great value for the money I spent.

I found a great contractor, Horizon Construction and Remodeling and I didn't need to look any further. A few years back I called Horizon and asked them to remodel my upstair's bathroom and was amazed at the quality and workmanship that was performed on my remodel. A few years later my downstairs bathroom floor began to leak water from the floor. Without hesitating I called Horizon Construction and Remodeling and got a great quote. Their work was so impressive the first time I used them and even greater the second time. I would recommend Horizon to any and all. They were perfectionist.

this is my second project im doing with Horizon , i was working with David first on upgrading our older bathroom earlier this year , it was hard to find a contractor that agreed to work on this project and to even show up , i contacted horizon , David came and the process was pretty smooth gong forward , the working man were nice and new what they were doing . we are very happy with the bathroom we did ! the 2nd project we contacted horizon was to replace an old beam that held the roof line that was falling apart , David came quickly to help us although it was pricier then we thought , we had to fix it before the rainy season , and Horizon took care of that quickly for us and even painted it for us at no extra cost ! we would definitely recommend Horizon & David to our friends and family

David, our project manager, was exceptional—he kept us updated throughout the process and ensured everything went smoothly. We are working with Horizon Construction for the 3rd project on our house! We started out with a complete remodel of our Master Bathroom. We loved our bathroom and Horizon so much that a few years later we had them redo and refresh the total inside of our home! They did paint, carpet, tile, remodeled the kitchen,removed walls new lighting and some plumbing! We loved it so much that we are now finishing the exterior of our house. They did a power wash, stucco patching sanding, primer, and paint on the stucco, trim, front door and garage door! We had them install a new front door and security door and sand and paint our iron gate! Why Horizon Construction? Mark and Enna are amazing! They are kind, considerate and care about what they do! They have amazing ideas and expect excellence from their workers!

This is the second time we have hired OC Horizon to work on our home. We hired them again because we trust Mark Besnos and his team to complete the project correctly, timely and safely. The back office is super nice and they make sure to communicate scheduling, payments, and answer any questions. Due to external moisture seeping into the house, we asked OC Horizon to remove adjacent planters surrounding parts of the house. They demoed and installed new matching pavers. The front of the house needed a facelift. They removed damaged wood trim, applied various paper coats and re-stucco. They installed and painted a new front door. They painted the entire house. They installed 22 new windows, covered up existing small windows not needed, changed one slider into a single window. Our rain gutters needed to be replaced. Mark suggested replacing with aluminum, a more durable product. Mark makes site visits often throughout the project, inspecting work and making corrections if not done according to his standards. He also makes suggestions regarding structural or safety items. He worked with us in figuring out a few aesthetic items. He worked with us to make sure all work was completed to our satisfaction. We are happy with the way our house was completed. It looks new and nice. Again, we “trust” Horizon to get the job done right.

My 91-year-old father needed work done on his house. The tile and grout on his second story balcony were no longer waterproof and subsequently, water leaked through the floor and caused damage to the garage ceiling. The garage was located directly below the balcony. After years of water soaking the rafters, beams, plywood and drywall, part of the ceiling collapsed. Upon further inspection, there was severe rotting of wood and material between the garage ceiling and the balcony floor. We noticed that Horizon was doing a very nice remodeling job on a neighbor's house. I spoke with a worker who referred me to David Eskin, a member of the Horizon management team. I also spoke with the homeowner, and they were very pleased with the work Horizon was doing. David came over, met with my father and me, inspected the damage and gave us a reasonable estimate. We signed a contract, which included proof of Horizon's contractor's license, worker compensation insurance and bonding. These were very important to my father; he wanted no liability for the project. We were more than satisfied with David and his workers. Everything that David promised was done. The project was completed in a timely manner and there were no add Ons or surprises. The workers quality of work was great; they were professional, friendly and clean. David constantly communicated with us and always gave us updates on the progress. If I had a concern, he immediately addressed it, with no excuses or upselling. The garage ceiling and balcony looks perfect, all of the stucco work and paint matches exactly to what it looked like fifty years ago when it was brand new. The experience with David and Horizon could not have been smoother. I mostly dealt with David by text and kept my elderly father out of the process to eliminate any stress on my father's part. I highly recommend David and Horizon for any home project. David is very professional, personable and responds immediately to any questions or concerns. They made our home project very smooth and with the least amount of stress as possible. We are very pleased with the finished project. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We have recently completed an extensive home addition and backyard and pool remodel. After several estimates from different contractors we chose Horizon and contractor Mark Besnos. This is our 2nd remodel with Horizon. We contracted them 1st time in 2017 for an interior remodel. Mark was very attentive and on top of the project from the beginning to end. The scope of the project was vast and there were a few challenges along the way but Mark was always available and on our side. The end result is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations.

I recently remodeled my house and was sorely disappointed. I was a bit gun shy to try again, but changed my mind after being stuck ay home during the covid lockdown. I decided to find a new contractor, and was lucky enough to find Mark Besnos, the owner of Horizon Construction and Remodeling. Mark was able to make my vision a reality, which was no small task. He worked with my designer, Misti Riedel and I and had the patience of a saint. This time around, it was an enjoyable experience. I wake up every morning and walk out into the main living area with a big smile on my face. Before Mark remodeled, my place was so drab. I truly love my house and thank everyone for helping me.

We selected Horizon Construction & remodeling in Fullerton because of their high rated reviews and we felt very comfortable with David Eskin the project manager. we thought he will be a good match since we will need to communicate with him on daily basis for the entire length of our remodel. He helped us design our new kitchen and bathroom and select materials while keeping up to code. we wanted to achieve clean and simple look, more space on our counters along with timeless design. The results exceeded our expectations. We love it!

This my experience with Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and why I recommend them. This is the second time that I have hired a contractor. The first time was a bathroom remodel, and it was a disaster, so I was very apprehensive about hiring another contractor. We needed to remodel our kitchen, so I had no choice. I did my due diligence and research and called three companies to interview. All three I had no prior knowledge of or experience with. Out of the three bids, there was a high, a medium, and a low. After talking to them one more time I went with the medium bid company. That company is called Horizon Construction and Remodeling. It turns out I made the right choice. My experience with this company is the complete opposite from my first experience with a contractor. My Project Manager was Mark, who did an outstanding job of keeping the project moving quickly efficiently. His crews showed up on time, were professional and did quality work, from plumbing to electrical to framing to painting to cabinets all were done to my satisfaction. If something was not done to my satisfaction (which was rare), I just let Mark know about it and he would send someone to either redo or touch-up the work. Mark would visit the job site frequently. I feel Mark is honest and has his customer’s best interest at heart. There were a couple of times when he could have charged me extra money for items that came up during the project, but he did not. Like any project we had to make some changes along the way, and Mark is very willing to work with you to make sure that you get what you want. Mark will listen to your ideas plus he has many ideas himself. He helped us a lot with our kitchen design. They started my project Oct. 11, 2001. My wife and I were hoping to have the project done by Christmas. They had it done in 7 weeks in time for Thanksgiving! The inside staff is led be Enna. They make sure everything is ordered on time. They even arrange for inspections. They are very polite and efficient and responsive. We are doing our doors and windows next and we going to have Horizon Construction and Design do the work. Our Kitchen & bathroom remodel turned better than we thought. Mark helped with the design and selecting all the materials and that was very helpful. We would recommend them to anyone.

I completely renovation my 1 bedroom condo in the City of Fullerton. Everything was removed from flooring walls kitchen bathroom walk in closet. The outcome was outstanding. I couldn't believe how great everyting. Turnedd out.. Every time I come home it's like walking into a model home.. I enjoy Everything and my favorite place is kitchen and patio BBQing and watching sports on my new patio TV.
