Prompt response to my request for service, great communication...very easy and pleasant to deal with...showed me what needed to be repaired and inspected other things to make sure that they were seemingly all ok. I personally am not a big fan of service fees that are not then absorbed or offset with work that is done, but to be fair as well, it is not uncommon either. I did appreciate the communication and quality of work done, and his knowledge of my hot tub (and just with respect to hot tubs in general) was evident.

Excellent, Joe is very knowledgeable and professional. He is very responsive via text message which is great for me! He was on time, coached me on new chemicals and how to best utilize them to maintain the life of the hot tub. I would highly recommend him although he seems to be very busy with a long list of current clients. He is 2+ weeks out so I would advise reaching out to him in advance and not waiting until the last minute or you may be out of luck.

It went great. He had a client reschedule so he fit us in. My wife was there with him and he was explaining everything we needed to know about the hot tub. Joe was very responsive and helpful. I'd hire him again for sure.

I had a leak in the hot tub. He repaired the leak and replaced the broken pump. Later, when I tried to heat the hot tub, I found out the heat wasn't working right. He came back and took the control board for repairs. When I tried to use the hot tub, I found out it was overheating. The people who had repaired the board had done it incorrectly. He fixed the control board and the hot tub started working correctly. Joe was very professional and friendly through the whole process. He was very knowledgeable and gave me advice on correct hot tub maintenance. I would definitely use him again.

Bought a new home that has a Hot Springs tub. I've never owned an outdoor hot tub, so needed Joe to help clean and service the tub and teach me how to maintain the tub on my own. He was very responsive as we coordinated a day and time, and he was more than happy to share details about the tub and how to care for it. He gave me tips on what I should and should not be concerned with and then the step by step on chemicals and maintaining proper PH, etc. I never questioned his knowledge. He was thorough and very helpful and had a nice laid back approach.Apparently he spent many years working for Hot Springs and has been caring for customers for many many years as a service person. I'll continue to use and recommend Joe. <br />

I purchased a hot tub from someone over a year ago, but didn't get it set in place or wire until recently. After getting it wired, the tub wouldn't fire up. My dad installed a new motor, but we still couldn't get the jets going. I gave Joe a call on Monday he said he would be out Wednesday or Thursday. I received a call Tuesday morning saying he could come out today. He was very thorough with checking all the components of the tub and explaining evertything as he was doing his thing. Unfortunately my dad crossed the wires and forgot to hook up a few others. About an hour and a half later, I had a fully functioning hot tub. He even took the time to explain to me how to clean and properly care for my spa since it is my first one. I will definitely give Joe a call for any future hot tub needs. <br />

He failed to open valve switch that runs the jets on his last visit in which he changed out the motherboard on my tub. That repair alone was just under a thousand dollars. He didn't take responsibility for failing to turn the switch on to the jets and since I didn't catch it for two months he tried to bill me $117 for a trip charge, he accused me of getting in the control panel which I assured him he was the last one in there but basically blamed it on me for why the trip charge should stay and I disagree #1 because I didn't use it right when it was fixed because it was so hot outside already and #2 I HAVE MEDICAL PROBLEMS making it hard for me to climb in/out of the tub often. I have an indoor tub and massage chair I use for back pain relief too. He ended up acting immature at the end and ripped up the bill and said I was never to call him again and I said this is a poor way to treat a customer he made a lot of money from a couple of months ago. He also got out his camera phone and started videoing me saying "Are you refusing to step away from my truck mam?" as if he was getting ready to accuse me of something...I've never seen such an unreasonable service man. As a minor side note, he didn't come last Thursday as promised. Then he tells me it would be Friday afternoon. No phone call. Monday nothing. I called him Tuesday no answer. Then the next thing I know he tells me he'll be there in 10 min at 9:45am without proper notice to my schedule. This is just a very unprofessional one man operation!

"[member name removed] i completed your repair on 5-17-15 which is over four months ago.You were standing there when i finished the repair I showed you every thing worked and closed the equipment door. Your total bill was $699.44 not the thousand as you stated.When you called me last week you were told that i was a week to week and a half out you haved called or texted me daily that does not change the time frame i gave you.I had time between two jobs yesterday to come look at your tub. I found the gate valve closed on your tub the system will not run that way.How or who closed it i dont know.I was at your house over thirty minutes but only billed you for fifteen and a service call. As for the invoice goes i did not tear it up you will be getting a copy to make payment. As for me videoing you i asked you several times to please move away so i could leave you would not move away from my truck you speach was slurred and behavior was of some one under the influnce of medication (probaly should not of been driving ) you even told me you take a lot of medication the video was for my pertection i can post a copy of it if any one needs to see it . I wish you the best . Please do not contact me any further as i will not service your tub again."

After looking for someone for a very long time I came across Joe on Angie's List. He said he was about a week out and the next week he called as promised. The jets had not worked in a couple of years but when we powered it up, everything worked! Joe took the time to inspect the threads on a nozzle that popped out on start up. One was broken and he said he'd try to find another nozzle. He reinstalled the nozzle and it has stayed put so far. Joe provided a lot of information and said he didn't see the need to open up the panel at this point since all was working. I agreed. If the problem reappears there is no doubt I will call Joe. A trust worthy good guy. <br />

Joe seems to really know about hot tubs but is very very expensive. I misunderstood him but the $99 service call included nothing but his drive (no analysis, etc). I was also charged an hour of labor in addition for trying to find the leak and issues with the tub. At the end of the day I was advised to get a new hot tub or spend $2K+ to fix the one I have. It cost me $173 to get that information. It was my fault because I thought the service call included a quick assessment then it was $73/hr after that like I have experienced from most contractors in the past who have a service call. <br />

"[member name removed] i refilled your tub also had to figure out what had been done by the last person who had worked on it as to why the jets only ran on one speed and tub would not heat after rewireing motor corectly and found the preasure switch to be bad I was able to get it to run and the heat to come on . Tub has a masive leak in the plumbing which can not be fixed in the deck also the equipment is not easy to get to. I was at your property longer then a hour but only charged you four a hour of labor. To repair your tub it has to come out of the deck which is elevated four to five foot off ground with six foot fence around it.If you can have it brought to me i can fix it at a cheaper price."

i called and reported problem and joe said it would be about two weeks. almost to the day joe called and left message that he would like to work on it that day. we met. i described the symptoms. he did a quick trouble shoot and said we needed to fill the tub and perform more extensive troubleshooting - he did not think it was the pump. he did a few tests. opened the connection immediately before the suck pump and pulled out a rag that had lodged at that critical point.. he re-assembled the tub and everything worked well. <br />

hot tubI called Joe and described the problem. He called before he came to our house. He quickly diagnosed the problem and complete the repair within 30 minutes. I highly recommend him and will call him again if I have any issues with my hot tub. <br />

Joe was great! He answered all of my questions (and I ha a lots of questions). The hot tub looks great now and I have a much better understanding now of how to take care of it. Joe also found the GFI for the power to my fish pond pump. I am very grateful. The fish pond will look a lot better too now that I have the pump running again. Both Joe and his assistant were very pleasant and did a great job. I highly recommend them. <br />
