Although Douglas told us he is more focused on large renovation jobs, he made himself available for this smaller job. He was conscientious about calling us to let us know his arrival time. His work was excellent, he finished the job quickly and was very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely hire him for larger jobs if the need arises, as he seems professional and well organized.

Douglas, again, did great work for me. The tile was installed on the kitchen backsplash area (see photos) and on the side wall (not shown in photos). He was professional, responsive and finished the job as promised within a few days. The tile looks great!

Douglas was great to work with. He was responsive, professional and did excellent work for several projects: 1) Repair ceiling drywall 2) Repair/fill hole in basement floor that exposed crawl space which involved accommodating several pipes and wiring 3) Repair/replace door and door frame 4) Repair and paint concrete steps

Douglas and his crew did an excellent job. Douglas was honest and usually presented reasonable options when it came to items that needed to be done and were not part of the contract. He was accommodating within reason. I would not hesitate recommending him.

Douglas was very communicative. He kept me up to date what he was working on. The project was finished on time. I would recommend him.

Douglas did a great job. He communicated with me easily to set up an appointment and he was here when he said he would be here. My apartment is chaotic - in the middle of a move, and largely unrenovated- he was truly pleasant about working in the dark, working in a mess, etc. When one of the ceiling lights would not attach to the ceiling because of an incompatible connection between old and new- late on a Friday afternoon he offered to go out of his way to go over to Lowes and get the part that would allow him to install the lamp!! And he did! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I think they are very good for small repairs because it is only one guy. This company was the only one available at the time. They did a good job.

They were good. They came in on time. They did a nice job. What I didn't like was it took longer than they said. There was a mistake so they had to tear out part of it and redo the whole thing but they were cooperative and they did do it so I did like that. They didn't object. They realized that they sort of screwed up. In the end, it turned out good.

I loved it. He did a great job. He gave me ideas on how to do it better. Great Price. Zero mess. I asked him to finish the job one day earlier than prevented and he was willing to stay there until he finished. I am going to call him again to do a job in another house that I have.

I had been wanting to renovate both my kitchen and bathroom for a long time. A colleague suggested I call House Pro after he and his wife used them and got amazing results. I called Douglas and I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. I needed a ton of work done and the assessment lasted about an hour and a half. Since I had no real style or lay out in mind for the kitchen in mind, Douglas was able to provide me with a wide range of options and designs. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The bathroom was a different story since I had a very clear idea of what I wanted. After our meeting, I received a detailed range building options, layouts, materials, etc within 24 hours. I met with a many contractors before reaching out to House Pro and only received a response from about half of them (none of which as extensive as Douglas'). House Pro was not the cheapest option (they certainly came close) but, given the level of quality and craftsmanship, I feel they were by far the best value. Douglas and his crew paid incredible attention to detail, not just to their finished product, but also the cleanliness of the work site during the project and at the end of the day before leaving. My family and I were living in the apartment while this work was taking place and we barely felt anything. The entire crew was nice, helpful, and professional. I even convinced my boss to have Douglas come by our office once a month to keep an eye on our space :). All in all I would certainly recommend House Pro for any type of construction/remodeling job, their absolute pros!!!

TERRIBLY! None of the tiles were flushed and they didn't use a spacer. The walls weren't properly prepared or sanded, so that the paint isn't smooth. They left a hole in the wall, and while they did fix it, what professional would leave that? There's a small tile in the middle of the subway design (small tiles do not go in the center). The tub edges where the grout tile should have been cut is horrible. The walls weren't finished properly and the tiles were not cut well. Grout is missing in places and they used two different colors. The pencil is sticking out in the door where it should have been rounded. A big square was drawn on tile with marker (was told it would come out, but has not, and will not). They scuffed the floor and there's a cut on the marble. The soap dish is crooked. The tiles by the shelves are cut improperly. They installed a grid and left it half-painted (half is silver & half is white). The decorations were not cut properly and there are missing tiles on the top (decorations should be flush with marble). The paint is not level along ceiling. The hinges look terrible. There is sloppy paint along the pencil. They used a paint sample that doesn't have the proper ingredients to last on the walls (I even went to the paint store to consult professionals). The glass on the side of the medicine cabinet was installed incorrectly. He destroyed my living room floor by placing tape that left marks. Nothing was done professionally and I hope the pictures I have included in this review will effectively convey that. Now, he will only do work if I agree to sign something to release him of liability, which is simply unethical.

Excellent. Douglas was responsive, fast, professional. Everything was done properly, and he was skillful when tackling unexpected issues. Can't wait to work with again.

Work was done quickly and came out great

He did a good job and when I saw another mouse two months later he returned to plug a hole that broke through. Very professional!

The job went very well and finished on time. Douglas and crew were very prompt and arrived at my home as stated. My small 4' X 4' bathroom upgrade included the following: 1. Demolition included removal of tiles from walls, toliet bowl, existing vanity, plumbing and wall paper 2 .Refinishing plaster walls 3. Installation of intricate cut marble floor tiles, with marble wall tiles and accent and marble bull nose finish. 4. Installation of new vanity, new medicine cabinet and glass shelves 5. Installation of new toilet and new faucet 6, installation of drop ceiling, painting and lighting 7, removal and disposal of all rubbish Douglas was very professional, considerate and responded to all of our concerns. Note: We had to pick up all material and some supervision was necessary. Make sure you cover floors and furniture before work begins. Overall, Great job performed by Home Pro. Looking forward to work with again

It went great. All materials were delivered in a timely and convenient fashion. Work began this morning at exactly the time promised. I am very happy with how the floor looks and feels.  <br /> It couldn't have gone better...in fact, it went so well I am considering a few more projects!

Great! Douglas was very helpful - prior to our scheduled visit I asked him several questions around the medicine cabinet as we previously had a surface mount and we wanted to open the wall for a flush mount. Douglas answered all my questions quickly and very clearly - on the day of the visit he arrived with everything that he needed for the job. Our bathroom looks amazing now.

Excellent. Neat and fast

I had a great experience with Douglas, always on time, very professional, and the most important part, did a great job. Douglas performed a great job in the ceramic floors and wood both, I would definitely recommend him and rehire him if ever needed.

Douglas was terrific. He was courteous and professional. The floor feels as solid as the original (before the plumbing work resulted in putting a hole in the floor) and it is incredibly neat.
