We just had our 15 year old fence replaced by Housewright. They installed a stained cedar stockade fence. It looks beautiful, my wife and I are so pleased. I had gotten several estimates before I settled on Housewright. Jay was slightly cheaper then his competitors. The quality of this fence was superior to what the other companies were offering. Jay was very informative and answered all my questions. The crew torn down the old fence and put up the new fence in a day. His crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Jay & his crew did a beautiful job on the fence. Neighbors were also upgrading, so Jay could coordinate work for both yards over a 3 day period. Turnkey job - he pulled all permits and had utilities marked. Very professional and efficient. Also key was communication. Jay quickly responded to texts or emails, which I appreciate. I recently purchased the home and the back fence was missing. Since the home is next to a water easement the town of Fort Worth was going to assess fines if I did not have the fence up within a week after purchase (seriously). I called several fence companies but only Housewright was willing to adjust their schedule after I made my situation known to them. The estimate for the fence and gate installation was also reasonable. The workers arrived and completed the job quickly. The fence and gates look great and I am not going to get fined. I would like to commend Jay and his installation crew for spectacular work on a recent job of removing an old fence and installing a new eight- foot Western Cedar fence. This is the second time we have had Housewright Fence perform work on our property. Each time Jay has been helpful in helping to determine specifically what the options are and helping decide the appropriate fence to install. On both jobs, Jay has set a work plan and schedule to which his crew has met. The crew did an outstanding job in installing the fence and in taking great care with property and landscaping to ensure no harm was done while removing and installing the fence. On both occasions, we have been completely satisfied with the quality work performed and the professionalism of which Jay and his crew have worked with us. Jay and his crew are the absolute best. Their professionalism, workmanship, communication and material used was top notch. My wife & I loved the look of board on board and the fence stain color. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship/team work/cleanup/ and construction of the gates and hardware used. It was a complicated project combined with having to work with four separate homeowners but Jay was able to keep everybody happy throughout the entire process. The three-day project went seamlessly and the crews left the worksite clean and organized at the end of every day.

The guy immediately showed up when I wasn't home. It was really cold that day and he didn't bring the right tools to fix my fence and all he did was to jiggle the post so it would close. I wanted the post to be set again and would have been willing to even pay an additional charge if the guy would have had the materials to fix it. Obviously, his service was a driveby and he wasn't capable of fixing this. I did not feel that I got $99 worth of services or work and am highly disappointed in this. These promotions are put out there with folks that need money now and some don't even both to come buy and those that do they might as well just stayed in the car as they drove by. Buyer beware of all promos. I would not ever hire a guy like this to do any work.

It went smooth and as expected. Showed up on time and cleaned up after work was done.

I had my sad, raggedy fence replaced after years of hating to look at it. Owner Jay came out, measured the area within 15 minutes and had an estimate for me the same day. We set an installation date for a couple weeks later. Wow!! Did their team ever come in and take care of business! They showed up when estimated, were polite and friendly, and deftly put up my fence within a day, despite the challenging rocky soil. The fence is beautiful- straight, clean and solid. Their work definitely lives up to their reputation!

After checking reviews on Angie’s List, BBB and Yelp, this company stood out. I clicked “Request an estimate” on [*** Link removed ***] and I received a response almost instantly. I soon discovered that the owner Jay always responds immediately. He seems to really care that the customer is happy with his work. The retaining wall and fence are an absolute work of art.

Housewright Fence was very easy to work with. They were responsive and understood our vision. We had a few special requests that they easily accommodated. The workmanship was superior and the team was very respectful while on property. The owner personally checked on his team each day to ensure that what was promised was being delivered. Completely stress-free and enjoyable experience!

I requested an estimate on a new fence and at the time Jay was out of town. Even though he was out of town, he was still quick to respond and as soon as he returned we scheduled a date for him to come out for the estimate. Jay was very professional and honest with what he thought our best options were. We also had a patio cover that we wanted to have removed and Jay said they would be able to take care of this for us for a minimal labor charge. I decided to go with Housewright Fence the same day the estimate was given and the process started immediately. Jay informed me that he had a some big commercial projects that they were about to start on and I had some concern because we were also having the exterior of our house painted within the next two weeks and we needed the patio cover removed before the painting could begin. Jay was able to fit us in and got the fence installed and removed our patio cover before the painting began. The day the crew came out it started raining that morning. They didn't get started until around noon but the job was completed by 5 PM that day. The crew did a great job and we are now enjoying our new fence. Thanks Jay!
