Mike, Ryan, and team were great. They were complete professionals who arrived on time and completed the installation as stated. Mike worked us on our budget while putting together a lighting presentation of our backyard that resembles and reminds us of our trips to Hawaii and their resorts. We are very pleased with the results and would not only use Mike and his team in the future but would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a magnificent lighting experience. BTW, Mike comes back at night to fine tune the lights and to make sure his customers are fully satisfied.

Micheal Akerman and his team did a great job of updating the exterior lighting. The lighting is now more focused.

We called Houston Lightscapes for a quote. They offer this service whereby rather than come out and discuss what you are after during office hours, they come out at night, listen to you and then set up what you are looking for, so you can see what it will look like before you buy. AWESOME. Makes the decision to proceed much easier. Houston Lightscapes were the ultimate professionals, service, quality and communication all first class coupled with very reasonable and transparent pricing. Having had the lighting installed, during the day you don't even know they are there, but at night both the house and yard come alive. You will not be disappointed with Houston Lightscape .... highly recommended

Mike is such a sweet guy. He came out and explained the process and recommended products to me based on what I wanted. He stuck with the time he told me it would take for completion and I love the way it looks now at night. I will definitely be contacting him in the further for more work in my back yard. I am wanting lights on my wood fence now for entertaining. Highly recommend him and his team.

Very responsive, competent, and considerate. The old light was unable to be repaired. The technician explained the options and how an LED would be comparable to the mercury vapor lighting.

From the night time demonstration to the installation everything went extremely well. Everyone from the office customer service to installation was very efficient. The areas were cleaned up before they left. We are very pleased. The lighting is beautiful. We will definitely use them again for our backyard when ready to do so.

The initial meeting went well. The guy I spoke to seemed to know what he was talking about, found out what I wanted, and thought it would be no problem and we would be super happy. I was skeptical because I had just installed an LED light on the garage that I thought was really bright and inquired about the lumen output of the lights he was proposing. Each light they wanted to use was a third of the lighting output of the garage light. I questioned him again about the voltage and light output and he was extremely confident the lights they were going to put up would be more than enough. This is perhaps where I messed up, but I called him on it and agreed to do the installation. The original plan was to put pairs of lights at each corner of my very rectangular house to illuminate the dark spots all around. Somewhere along the way at installation, they only installed three pairs of lights, stating a couple reasons why the corners wouldn't work that I can't remember anymore. What stuck out to me was that the installation would be "easier." The installation overall was very clean and the installers were professional. The new sub-panel was installed underneath my main panel and wires were run neat. The first time coming home at night and looking at the lights can only be described as disappointment. The lights were dim and didn't light up as much as I was led to believe. The lights were also the wrong color (warm). Neither myself or the estimator discussed the light temperature and it didn't cross my mind either until seeing them on. This was easily fixed with a phone call. They came and replaced the bulbs with cool color the next week and it looked better but the light output was still poor. I called a few times after that and with my schedule in the mornings it was hard to get a chance to meet with someone so I've left it alone for the past year. Every day I come home at night the first thing I notice is the lights and how disappointing they are. The garage light drowns out the light from the installation. See the pictures for an example. A week ago our neighborhood had a rash of car break-ins on multiple streets. The light seemed to be enough to deter the 4 criminals from walking up the driveway to check out the cars. My cameras caught them walking by. The next door neighbors dark driveway was not left alone, however. I had originally wanted the lights because of a break-in to one of the cars in my driveway one night so the brighter the better.

I had multiple estimates and Mike with Houston Lightscapes was by far the most knowledgeable. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. Our backyard looks like an oasis. Would highly recommend them.

Very well ... they listen to what we said and did exactly what we asked. They were quick, cleaned up the area after they finished. We had one issue were the new lights stopped working about 1 month later and they came out and fixed it for no charge.

The lighting team was very professional.  They surveyed the yard, installed electrical box, installed lights.  Excellent job.

Houston lights capes came in the evening & set up lights so i could see what it will look like, They gave me an estimate & scheduled the install. They showed up on time and very professional, installed the system. They took no money up front and collected when the job was complete. Very pleasant to work with. Will be using them again to do my backyard.

They proposed a very nice lighting design and installation was well do,e. I am very happy with the results.

The company arrived on time (others I called did not!) and Mike and I walked around my front yard. After I poined out key areas that needed lighting, he made some additional suggestions and even brought lights to set up. The vision he presented to me made my home look like a castle!

Michael was willing to work around our busy schedules for our business which speaks to his dedication to his business and care for his customers. They quality of their work is excellent. They also are very fair when it comes to pricing, underbidding several other lighting companies we looked at.
