Ellis Concrete

This is Casey from Ellis Concrete LLC. That guy Donald S is lying about there job I did.. he wanted it poured in the winter and that's what you get.. I did me job to keep the concrete warm from the cold weather.. he never talked to the concrete drivers.. this is all made up stuff from a unhappy person. This is so funny that people can lie about the work you do. I did what was right to keep the concrete safe from freezing. That's why the blankets made it look two different color greys . The moisture gets trapped under the blankets and there's nothing anyone can do to prevent that.. he should of poured it earlier in the year not so late.. it's obviously still a good driveway cause it's still there..

Ellis did a excellent! job on the concrete for our pole barn and approach, they were here early and worked all day, we are very impressed and very very pleased with the job. We definitely recommend Ellis concrete, and we will be using them again

KC Ellis the brother in charge poured my driveway despite being questioned by West Branch Concrete about the weather forecast freezing temps and rain along with my brother and myself. Stated we have blankets etc; I've been doing this all my life. Flash forward the crew forgot the broom and pole so they tied a broom to a string so brush finish needed for a driveway with a slope is virtually no existent, could have been affected by the rain which came as or shortly after they sealed the concrete which only partially cured, Sealant required temp over 45 or 50 degrees F according to West Branch concrete. BL: driveway looks like an abstract painting. Areas without sealer are white areas where Sealer cured are gray which is expected when chloride or whatever chemicals are added due to low temperatures. Even the cement truck drivers questioned KC's poor judgement to pour that day. Once done he said if it doesn't cure correctly and all turn white when the Sun hits the following spring I'll replace it or fix it I'm a Man of my Word. Spring came and he seemed to forget all the lies he told me. But now that at its been inspected by several concrete contractors they all agree the sealer washed off in certain areas. Ellis brothers showed up to POUR the concrete without the brush and pole to finish it and without the blankets required due to the temperature. One mistake after the other the biggest is KC's POOR JUDGEMENT. Most concrete contractors were pouring inside, or off that day, or prepping a job. Easy to verify with WB Concrete how many loads went out that day and where. More disturbing is the lying one after the other like most cowards due. If he was a man like he said he was a "man of my word" he would have called his insurance company and made a claim and replaced my driveway. His friends and former work associates can't understand why he would leave me hanging. I have plenty of pictures they tell a 1000 words. Everyone ask what happened my goal is to protect other home owners from Ellis brothers incompetence, trustworthiness, lack of customer focus, willingness to lie and make up explanations. The facts and evidence weather report for the area, wind which was lifting up the blankets, the day time and night time temps, precipitation recorded and most of all the concrete itself tells the story.
