RL Remodeling

Unfortunately I had the most terrible experience with this company. The amount of unprofessionalism from the contractor Raul and his wife Lizbeth was appalling. To make matters worse they were scheduled to return to finish the job but they ignored me and did not return. 1.Complained that Menard cabinets/material I purchased were "too much work" to put together. 2. Some of the large material I ordered ran late so they had to return to finish the job. They DEMANDED full payment even though the contract states paid in full when work was complete and there was not a end date. 3. The contractor snapped at me when I told him about the countertop measurement process that Menards gave me. 4. I hired someone else to install the countertop because of how uncomfortable they made me feel but I was not reimbursed for it. 5. The 1st and 2nd receipt of materials they bought snacks and beverages. They did not get all the material in those 2 runs I went to buy the material they did not purchase. (changes in the contract were made so I offered to run out to buy those materials.) 6. They failed to update their contract when changes were made in the job. They did not express nor communicate a charge in price for some of the changes that were made. They did not express how they felt about it, they just did the job. (At the time of me trying to contact them, they admitted to not knowing how to do the installing of one of the jobs. They should have told me I would have hired someone else!) 7.They had to return 2 more times to finish the job and I was told in the rudest tone of voice that there wasn't a guarantee they would return right away. 8. They charged me for kitchen backsplash and sink plumbing installation but they did not return to finish the job. 9. They ignored my text and calls so I had to get my father to reach out to them to see if they really were ignoring me. They did indeed answer the phone and proved to me that I was being ignored. 10. They left ALL the garbage in the rooms of my house leaving it really messy. Everything was scattered and boxes were all over the place. As stressed and frustrated as I was I took this as a learning experience. It lead me to find a different company that truly knows how to treat their customers with respect. I can happily say this is the 1st and last time I will ever hire this company. I hope they take this as a learning experience to not treat their costumers the way I was treated and spoken to. That they learn to communicate, approach changes appropriately, be professional, and do not fail to complete a job without notice. I wish them the best but hope that no one ever has to go through what I went through.

We used Raul for multiple items in our house. He did an amazing job, very detailed oriented. We will def use again!
