I was scammed by this company. They required me to pay 1/2 upfront which I did by personal check, then never came back to do the work. I would like to know what we are supposed to do when a company you promote rips us off. Back on 9/8/21 I paid $403 and have received absolutely nothing for my money. If Home Advisors knows of any way I could attempt to get my money back, I would be most appreciative of any tips you could give me. I will never use anyone you recommend again. I will be reporting this to my bank and to my attorney.

Do not contact him, whatever he says he is going to do he can not do it, he will just give you excuses.

I paid 50% for the service but they did not showed up or call me.

First of all, Nathan not only showed up for the estimate on time, but actually returned my call and scheduled the work. I've had several companies show up to evaluate the job, promise an estimate then fall off the face of the earth. Then, on the morning the job was to start, Nathan called me BEFORE his appointed time to let me know that the weather had set them behind and he would be arriving at my house a few hours later than expected. What a concept a phone call to let me know he was running late. But he did, in fact show up to do the work (another amazing concept) and this was the Friday before the 4th of July weekend.. As Nathan started removing the siding to be repaired he showed me what was happening behind it, told me what needed to be done done to correct the prior improper install, and gave me a "best case" and "worst case" cost scenario and advised me that he would not be able to get the materials he needed that day.. Nathan then coordinated with his team to insure they could get back on my job first thing Tuesday morning, July 6th. But before he left on Friday he made sure the opening in my home where the siding had been, was secure and protected from any adverse weather we were expecting. Sure enough, Nathan and his crew showed up first thing Tuesday morning as promised, repaired the previous installation errors, and repaired the siding reusing the existing siding which was undamaged. They did a fantastic job. With the extensive work that needed to be done I was fully expecting the cost to be the "worst case" scenario, but to my pleasant surprise, the cost ended up being between the "best" and "worst case" scenarios. I highly recommend Nathan and his company Thin Line Exteriors. Trust that he will be open, honest, and fair and that you can take him at his word.
