Randy Hudson did a great job of repairing/replacing a rotted deck post on my dad?s deck.  He was very good at assessing the damage and work necessary to correct the problem.  He was good about explaining the process to us so everyone understood what was to be expected.  Randy was very friendly and completed the work as planned and scheduled.  He also did a great job of installing new lattice for the deck skirting as part of the project.  I thought the price charged was fair and reasonable and we have asked him to give us an estimate to pressure wash and paint the deck and other house trim. <br />

Mr. Hudson and his wife were absolute professionals, and their work was excellent. Mr. Hudson provided a written estimate that was thorough and fair.  He was completely responsive throughout the process -- always returning calls and texts promptly. We had a miscommunication about when the work was to be completed, and when I explained that I needed the work done Wednesday rather than Friday, Mr. Hudson and his wife rearranged their schedules and worked extra hours to make it happen. They also provided good advice about what paints to use, gave me painting tips, and loaned me tools while they worked!  I recommend them very highly. And my house looks beautiful (and the patch in the kitchen ceiling is invisible). <br /> <br />

Mr Hudson always returned my call promptly, he showed up on time and his fees were very reasonable.  He completed the work either early or right on time. I felt that he was very honest and trustworthy.   I will definitely use his services again <br />

Randy was very prompt in responding to our request for proposal . He was not very good at calling and leaving messages when he could continue to work on the job. He also demanded payment 1/3 to start, 1/3 half way through and 1/3 at the end of the project. He painted over electrical plugs in some places instead of removing the wall plate. There were spots that were missed or painted too lightly.  One time he called my phone and I couldn't answer at the time. He didn't leave a message so I assumed he had dialed a wrong number and he never called me back until one day he showed up and wanted to know why I hadn't called him back. Very poor communication throughout the job. And there were times he didn't show up when he said he would.

Service went very well.  He is very busy and didn't have an opening in his schedule for 4-6 weeks, but we were in no rush and didn't push him.  He came out the day after I called and gave a fair quote.  His advice on the brand, type, and amount of paint needed was very helpful.  We moved the furniture to the middle of the rooms and he took care of the rest.  <br /> One of the rooms had large areas on the walls where you could almost see through the paint after it dried, since he was here 2 days, we pointed it out the second morning and he agreed it needed one more coat than the other rooms and did so without question.  We are very satisfied with the work he did and the finished product.  <br /> We'll be keeping him in mind for future needs. <br />

Work Randy's done has been excellant. The only problem for me, is that he has a very busy schedule and has to fit work on my house in when he has the chance. Based on work done so far I'd highly recommend him. In fact, I have. <br /> Pete Johnston <br />

<strong>It went great! </strong>  <strong>Randy is a professional and is very cooperative in working with the homeowner.  He even took a day off when we needed him to give us more time to clear an area for his work.  We plan on using him for other small to medium sized projects. We are a bit disappointed in the failure to get a better match on the ceiling where the wall previously existed.  Likewise on the floor. <br /> </strong>

Randy was great! Not only did he do a wonderful job of painting, he also kept an eye out for things that would need to be fixed down the line. If we wanted them fixed then, he just did it. Easy to work with and we're very happy with the final result. <br />

I had a good experience with them. He came out the first week in January to do the work and it costed me about $615 for the job. He was reasonable and he did a good job. He was prompt in responding to us and he was punctual. He met the buyers requirements and even though I didn't see the work myself the real estate manager and the buyer said everything was great.

He was friendly, timely, and on budget. Worked to get done quickly and was able to do all the work we needed done. Painting, carpentry, plumbing, you name it.  He provided a clearly itemized bill and was easy to work with to get all the projects done to our satisfaction. <br />

Randy was very responsive.  He returned calls promptly and was flexible in scheduling a time.  He helped us to sort through options and worked hard to remove the leaves that were frozen to the gutters.  We plan to use him for other repairs that we need. <br />

Once the old door was off, Randy discovered that some of the foundation blocks were crumbling and needed to be caulked.  Also the blocks had not been filled which made the foundation walls unstable. This meant an adjustment to the scope of the job and the budget. Randy explained it all to me and we went ahead with the project.  After he stabilized the foundation walls, he leveled them for proper installation of the door and installed the concrete pad.  The door had to be ordered and when it came in Randy installed it and the result is beautiful.  I couldn't be more pleased! <br /> Randy was very professional and a pleasure to work with.  He kept me informed with his progress, answered all my questions and stayed within budget.  I will hire him for other projects I have. I highly recommend him. <br />

Randy was very fast and very efficient. Over all. He will talk with you about various options and let you know what to expect iwth each option. He's quick to let you know if something will require more money and is very fair with his pricing! <br /> We were going to be the odd balls and give our daughter a unique room with her favorite colors (bright greens and a dark blue ceiling for adding glow in the dark stars to) <br /> At the same time we were wanting to also paint our spare bedroom to brighten it up.  <br /> Randy came in and made sure to cover everything so that it wouldn't get any drips on it.  <br /> We ran into a few hassles with the original color of the walls not doing well with the yellow/lime green paint, but he worked it out and got it to look even and solid lime green.  <br /> He also helped us securely hang up a canopy over our daughters bed. He tested it and even crawled up into our tiny attic to make sure it would hold up if our daughter were to decide to pull on it.  <br /> He was always very friendly and willing to try his hardest to make sure that we were happy with his work.  <br /> I will highly recomend Hudson Home Repairs to anyone looking for paint and/or home repairs <br /> <br />

We called to set up appointment for an estimate and our call was answered promptly.  They set up a time to come by and give an estimate the next evening.  At that visit they gave us a bid which was in line with other bids we had received.  They said they could do the work on the following Saturday and we accepted their bid.  They were punctual, courteous, and did a very professional job.  Their original time estimate had been a 2-day job, but they finished in one day and reduced their original price estimate.  They left everything clean and even moved a heavy bookcase back into place.  We were very pleased and would call them again for another painting/remodeling job. <br />
