Humes Masonry is a fully customer oriented business; working as a team focusing on safety, cleanliness, communication and your complete satisfaction. Although our team is roughly the size of a basketball team, we can handle any size job, small or large, with no compromise on customer satisfaction. Most projects require payment only when the job is completed and the customer is fully satisfied. Only large scale projects may require progressive payments, agreed upon formally first in writing. We accept cash, check, or debit/credit. No sub contractors allowed.

Humes Masonry did a great job on my tuck pointing project. They were very professional, courteous, and responsive throughout the project. They do high quality work at a reasonable price, and went the extra mile to attempt to clean-up some work from a previous contractor. I would highly recommend Humes Masonry and will certainly consider them for future work. Overall, a great customer experience. <br />

We contracted in April 2015. Due to frequent rains, it was impractical to perform the tasks at that time. Finally, in July a spate of 'dry' weather afforded him the opportunity to perform these tasks. He was fast, efficient, and if other knowledgeable contractors are an indication; compliments were for the excellence of his work! We had a number of others working on our house at the time, many commenting on the tuck pointing. <br />

It took a very long time for me to get the estimate - possibly the email got lost, but I didn't receive the estimate until quite some time had passed. Once I had the estimate and gave the go-ahead to do the work, it all went very smoothly. I like that he was OK using email for most communications as I find it much more convenient. <br /> <br />

There were a bit of communication gaps in the beginning, but the provider was very nice and efficient. He did the work well, found a stone piece that matched our existing piece, and stayed within the budgeted price. We recommended him to our neighbors already! <br />

Terry was very professional from the beginning to the end. He came out quickly and looked at the job and then got on it very fast. His schedule was very tight, but he fit me in after I told him my deadline. I would use Humes again and I will definitely be telling my neighbors to use Humes. While they are a bit hard to get a hold of, once you do, they are committed to your project. Once I agreed to go with them, I was able to get on their schedule weeks before similar companies. Their cost was much more reasonable, and I felt like he was one of the few people who looked at the job closely when considering the bid, rather than giving us a "guesstimate". <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Tuckpointing work looked great afterwards; blended in well. Terry came back a day or two after completing the project to clean up further as he had to leave before he completed cleaning to his satisfaction earlier in the week. I am very satisfied. Terry was responsive thru the process, even though the weather was iffy for this type of work and it was around Thanksgiving. The bid was half that of another bid I received for the same work. Looks perfect and they went above and beyond, in repairing additional areas around the front door that I hadn't even requested. <br />

Initially, there were some communication problems but they have since been resolved. The work was done in a professional manner, and done properly.

The project was delayed by some weather issues, but Terry was very good about keeping us updated about schedule changes. He was very responsive and his work was top notch! He also went "above and beyond" and fixed an issue that wasn't part of the original bid. Definitely a craftsman that we will use again! <br />

It went very well. They fit us in at the end of the season with the cold weather coming in and the job was done as requested and we were invoiced the price was what was originally quoted. Terry also took pictures of the job once complete and supplied those with the invoice. <br /> It was a good interaction working with Humes, would use them again for sure. <br />

The mortar needed replacing on my brick foundation. The gentlemen did a wonderful job, moving landscape rocks and other items around the foundation when needed. Completed the work in a very timely fashion and cleaned up very nicely. Simply put, the work was accomplished in professional manner with no issues....Thank YOU! <br />

The tuck pointing looks beautiful. I'm so glad I went with Humes Masonry. I've had tuck pointers do work in the past that left gouges in the bricks and I wasn't sure how much the job really strengthened the brick work. I have confidence this work done by Humes Masonry was worth my money and will last. <br />

Terry came out and gave us a quote. He was able to get out and get the work done within 2 days of giving us the quote. He was on time. Worked quickly and did an excellent job. His clean up was thorough, so that other that the work he did you could not tell he had been here. <br /> The job did not take as long as he had estimated so the final bill came in below the estimate. He also gave us some tips on how to maintian the chimney. <br /> We will definitely be calling him again for any other mansonry work. <br />

We have worked with Terry many times over the years and he ALWAYS provides excellent quality at a reasonable price. The last job he did for us he actually came back and knocked off $100 from the price that he quoted as he was able to get the job done in a single day. He really is an artist when it comes to all things masonry. He is also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet:) <br />
