Communication went well. They called right after I requested a quote from Angie. I was scheduled for next day- it was not a rush job, but had it been they said they would be able to do a same day repair. Came out replaced the broken window pane and I paid by Zelle. Super easy, fast, and convenient.

They were fast to respond to my request and were quick to the job. They fixed up my fixed single pane glass in not only less than 10 minutes but for just $165 ?? I definitely recommend these guys and will call again if I accidentally break my window again ?

It went very well. After trying other companies, multiple no-shows and more hassle than I could reasonably expect, I called Hurricane Glass. First visit, they arrived on time, were prepared, measured everything and in about 20 minutes total time, had the quote for me. I hired them on the spot and gave them a 50% down payment. They said it would take 7 - 10 days and they would call me when the window was ready to schedule the install. 7 days later, I got their call as promised and scheduled the install. Day of the install, they called me 30 minutes before arrival. They completed the work, everything fits and matches. Yay! Mine was a 15.5" x 60.25" Low E, bay window.

I used their online request form for an estimate (3/4). I received an automated response, saying they'd get in touch with me to schedule. On 3/7, I finally got a call, and scheduled a technician to come measure the area. Technician arrived on 3/10 (Monday), measured area, and said they'd be back the next day to install the mirror. On Tuesday, I gave the receptionist my credit card for a deposit for the work. Nobody showed up on Tuesday, Wednesday (they had an "emergency"), or Thursday (they had another "emergency"), in spite of having appointment windows. I was not available on Friday, and made it clear that the mirror needed to be installed on Monday or refund my deposit. I was told (rudely) to call them on Monday morning after 9:30 to find out when the work was scheduled, which I did. The woman I spoke with was very rude, and told me to call back in an hour when their scheduling would be ready. I did (at 10:30), and was told I was first on the list and the technicians would arrive in about an hour to do the work. By noon no one had called or shown up. I called back and asked what happened, only to be told that there was a scheduling glitch and the technicians weren't anywhere near my home. When I asked when they would be, the person had to check and would call me back. Twenty minutes later I received a call telling me they would be here between 3 and 5 p.m. today. I requested that the owner call me, which he never did. I decided that I no longer had any confidence in the company, and cancelled the job, requesting a refund of my deposit by the end of the business day today. I wish I had read YELP reviews before hiring Hurricane Glass, because they are all terrible and truthful, based on my experience. They are unprofessional, make excuses, and don't tell the truth. I would never recommend them to anyone.

So far they are doing a good job, I spoke with them yesterday. Brought my truck in for an alarm this morning. Very courteous, polite, shop is clean. I will update when I get my truck after the alarm is installed.

They came out to replace a sliding glass door. When they arrived, the technician said we needed "special glass" and he could order it and replace it in a week. He also asked for $250 down as 1/2 payment for specialty glass. After we paid the down payment, the company never called. We called several times and they finally scheduled an appointment. After waiting a few hours on the day of the appointment, we called and they said someone was on the way. They never showed. A few days later, they scheduled another appointment and again never showed.
I have disputed the charges on my credit card. This is not a legitimate company, this is just a scam.
Appointment was scheduled and the installer arrived during the promised time window. Upon looking at the job, the installer informed me that the storm window would have to be removed the replace the cracked window. He told me the storm window was poorly installed and the only way he could get it out was to destructively remove it, which I agreed. In the process of doing so, he removed the screen from the window opening and did not replace it.
I placed three calls to Hurricane Glass over two days to find out the reason the screen was not replaced. Each time Becky said she would check on it and "call you right back." At no time did she call back. On the fourth attempt, I was told the screen had to be removed with the storm window and could not be replaced. This is not at all true. The installer should have removed the screen, then the storm window. He could then replace the cracked pane and put the screen back in place. When he told me about the storm window, he never mentioned that the screen was part of it. I believe he destroyed the screen in the process of removing it and then made up the story of not being able to replace it.
BIG F
They measured the windows. They made a mess of broken glass and they did not pick it up. They did a good job with the actual instillation. We had to reschedule the actual day that they were to do the work, because they had over booked themselves, but they called to inform me that they had.

When it did come in, there were some scheduling delays - once for rain, once because they ran out of time, and then once because the workers showed up without a ladder tall enough to reach the third floor. Since I work from home, none of these delays bothered me, but it would have been a different story if I had arranged to take off from work those three days. When the window was finally replaced, the workers called 30 minutes before arrival, which was nice. They were professional and respectful, and completed the job in about 2 hours. They cleaned up the big window mess, but not the mess they made from taking first one out, and putting the next one in (dust, dirt from outside, shoe marks on the floor). I don't know why all service companies don't consider this type of clean up part of their job. Overall, a good experience.

VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE WORK ALTHOUGH, IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN A MORE TIMELY MANNER.
