These guys are liars. We paid $4500 for 2 days of tree removal and was told "satisfaction Guaranteed." The job was not completed. Also, first a different guy showed up with workers and not the guy who had spoken to us about what needs to be done. Second, they came for ONE day Only of the Two promised, and now we have been calling them for over a month. They have been giving us the run-around. We chose them because they are local business but DO NOT HIRE these guys because Robert Marianetti the Owner and Sarah the Manager will lie, lie and lie some more and never get back to you. Since I paid them Cash, we have no recourse. If you want a Fly-By-Night contractor, who robs you, Go ahead, give them a call. We have spoken to Sarah and Robert and left them messages at least 9 times now, but they still refuse to return to see what they left undone. All we want them to do is to check out the shoddy work that their workers did and just fix it.

There was a big language barrier between myself and the crew that came out. The owner was never on site for the services. Some members of the crew were disrespectful to my wife, making inappropriate comments. Also, many of the workers sit on their phone and do not do any work. The crew used a bulldozer, where it damaged my lawn and my fence in 2 different places. They were very careless with their work -- they damaged other trees in the process. They also removed trees that were not supposed to be removed. They did not remove bamboo or poison ivy that I hired him to do. The owner is refusing to resolve the issues and I will see them in court on 2/1/17.

They came first over for a quote and inspection of access to our back yard. I was advised that my cement walkway may be damaged by the weight of their equipment which was fine since I am planning on having it replaced. The day of, they arrived promptly around noon time with a large truck and a 6 man crew. They quickly began to work and nearly finished the job by sundown. Since it was 4 large trees, they had to come back in the morning to complete the task. They removed all debris and grinned the stumps.

This is the 3rd time in 7 years they have been here for different trees and each time aside from the missing trees, it is almost impossible to tell that big trucks were hear and removal all debris took place. They show extreme care with the property and leave almost no trace they were even here. Mike and Marvin were the guys in charge but this team of 10 guys were in and out in less that 2 hours with me smiling at how there was no damage or debris left behind. This team worked together like an efficient well oiled machine. I am grateful I found them.

Could not have gone better, starting with the quick response to my note asking for an estimate, to Rob showing up when he said he would, to do the estimate, to the large crew showing up exactly as scheduled to do the work, all workers were great and courteous and the work they did , was great! I highly recommend Rob and his company should you ever need tree service and all the services his company provides. This is the second time we have used this company and I am sure it won't be the last!!!

They did an AMAZING job. All of the guys were professional and worked like crazy. They even draped a cloth over the fence to not scuff it while they took giant branches out. What I was mot pleasantly surprise with was that before they left they went crazy leaf blowing, raking, and disposing of any leaves or debris that had fallen off throughout the front and back. You literally wouldn't have known they were even here. Great job and we will definitely be using them again!

Two of my arborvitaes (~10 feet) leaned heavily after snow. I called Rob, who did a good job cutting my trees last time. Rob came once to have a look and told me not to worry about anything; they will take care of everything (turns out not). I just told him to call me when he has a time. However, Rob's guys come without notice on Thursday, when I am not at home. That causes a lot of trouble because they do not know all the specifics. They pull up the trees but damaged A LOT OF the tree branches. One tree loses around 60% of the needles and looks like a stick after work. Ropes have bright colors, which look ugly in green background. Eye hooks stick out about 6 inches above the ground (ugly and not safe). A couple of trees got nearly half of their top cut (the two trees are now turning yellow and their branches are falling). A lousy job this time. Three weeks later two guys come and try to fix the problem. They only partly change some ropes and leave the eye hooks alone. My trees are all turning yellow slowly. No one cares about whether the trees are healthy but just getting paid. Overall, Rob's team lacks the expertise and patience to care for those arborvitae. They did a rushy job when they are busy in spring. I will definitely not use them for caring my arborvitaes any more.

They took down a large tree and trimmed the bushes. They did a great job and were very friendly.

After a severe storm on August 4, 2015 we had them come out for an estimate right away because we were going out of town.  We <strong>Pre-paid $2000</strong> for them to cut up the downed trees, cut off the dangerous hanging branches, and stack and leave the wood.  Our first annoyance was that they did not show up on the day they said, when we had arranged for a house-sitter to meet them.  We finally called the day after and they eventually came.  They only cut the downed trees and did not take care of the dangerous hanging branches, even though we have it in writing to take care of the branches.  Also, even more importantly, since we off-set our oil costs in the winter with our fire-place insert - <strong>THEY DID NOT LEAVE THE CUT WOOD!!!!</strong>  We have it in writing that they were supposed to leave the cut wood.  We estimate that they took over $1000 in cut wood!  We are VERY unhappy about this and have called 3 times, without any reply.  Extremely Un-professional! <br />

Around 10 guys show up in the morning around 8 and worked until 6:30. They took down around 17 trees in total, 12 of them are 4 floor high big trees and 5 are small trees. They did a great job cutting trees as I directed without any damage to my roof. They grind all stumps and cleaned all branches and trunks. There are trucks, bobcats, huge shredders, etc. They blow off the whole property until the sky is nealy dark. They also took care all my neighbors roads. They are awesome!

This review is long overdue. These guys were phenomenal!. When they came out for the initial estimate, they came in at $300 less than another estimate I received and that estimate included shaping of a holly tree in addition to the land clearing/hedge trimming. My property was so overgrown that this job took them a lot more than I think they expected. The workers worked non-stop for over 12 hours (they intially expected 6, I think. It was also the hottest day of the year so far). When I arrived home from work, I thought they would tell me the job couldnt be completed that day or that they would want to charge me extra for all the work they had to do. But no, they held to their end of the deal and made sure that everything was completed and cleaned up. I was impressed. There are really no words to express how much work they did. They had originally asked if I wanted the ground cleared as well. We declined, thinking we would handle that part. There is so much overgrowth and so many large roots and vines that it proved to be a little too much for us to handle. So we are definitely thinking of calling Hurricane back to help us with the final cleanup- if they are willing to come back, that is!! Polite and professional as well. The only think I wasn't happy about was that there are some cracks in the sidewalk and driveway from the truck they pulled in to grind everthing. But that's not really their fault. Definitley recommend! <br />

All I can say is EXCELLENT! Rob scheduled his crew to be on-site within a few days. He explained everything upfront, took on any questions, addressing concerns and made me feel rest assured that his crew will take care of everything. A few days later, a crew of 12 showed up at 7:30 AM, (was not expecting them till 8:00AM) with heavy duty equipment, Bobcat, cherry picker truck, & heavy duty wood chipper.  They stopped working at 7:30PM and did not leave till 8:00PM! , taking care of everything promised and more. They kept me informed constantly through the day, any changes I wanted done were handled without any problem. They had two foreman managing the other 10 workers on the site. While one was in the running the operation above ground (in the trees) the other was  running operations on the ground (land clearing and debris cleanup, wood chipping etc.  I've been in the customer service business, so I know what it takes...these guys get an  A+ (5 Stars) in my book. NOTHING SHORT OF EXCELLENT. Rob and his team have been at our house several times and they always do excellent work; it took them approximately 3 hours to complete the work including chipping and clean up. Rob's team is efficient, courteous, obvious experts at their jobs and they do fantastic work. We love working with Rob and have complete trust in him. Excellent work as usual, thanks again Rob! <br /> We won't use anyone else but Hurricane for our tree maintenance. "Like a good neighbor, Hurricane is there! :)" <br />

This is the 2nd time we have used Hurricane Tree Experts.  They are great.  I called them after our maple tree dropped some big branches on the electric and cable wires depriving us of electric and cable for several days.  The tree needed repairs because of the cracked branches and the branches that were still dangling.  The tree removals had been planned, but the maple made this a more immediate need.  They came quickly to assess, and then returned within a couple of days, removed two trees and ground down the stumps, and fixed all of the damage to the maple (up in the air, around electrical wires). We are good as new.  Left the property clean, removing all branches and trees. <br />

They were not only doing a terrible job, but they were also on my neighbor's property eating their lunch. They threw their garbage around, I had to pick up soda cans after they left. They had no respect for anything. Their crew leader had no control over them, which I told the owner when I spoke with him.  <br /> I gave a check for the work to the crew leader after the work was completed. I spoke with the owner and told him how unhappy I was with the work and the workers that he sent. He told me that he understood, apologized, and said that he would come back out in the Spring. He sent my check back to me, which he didn't have to do, but I appreciated.  <br /> Since then, he hasn't come back to do what he promised. I called today, spoke with the girl in their office to explain he said he would come back out to look at it. She said that she would speak with him and call me back. When she called me back she said I could get another tree pruner if I would like, but that it would be a long time before I could get an appointment because he was so busy.  <br /> I wouldn't use them in the future after the answer that he gave me.
