ABSOLUTELY AVOID! I cannot strongly enough not recommend this place! They installed a tankless hot water heater after our tank busted. They forgot to mention a part we needed in order to not wait several minutes for hot water every time we turned it on, installed incorrectly, forgot to order parts, ordered the wrong parts, installed plumbing incorrectly resulting in a FLOOD of my garrage and this 2 day project took MONTHS. Management refused to take or return my calls for Months after the initial call that pipes installed incorrectly busted (support staff just apologized for them) and the owner never called me back after repeated messages. Staff admitted that the "real Plummer" we were supposed to have took another "much higher paying" job and the guy we got didnt know what he was doing AT ALL. This was a headache, a total nightmare, and I never even recieved a call back, much less any offer of compensation or even an apology. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Service was horrible. Communication was horrible. They came out and Uninstaller the wrong unit. The tech lied about what the paper work said. When they installed the unit back it is not work properly and now does not blow air. They unit pipes were missing lagging and whe called to come see about the unit they give me the run around. This service was horrible. Regret going with this company. The other ac they installed is ok, but now I have water leaking all over. Trying to call them to come look into it and what dony I know, giving me the run around. Please don't use this company. They were really bad.

Hybrid did a good job installing unit, but after three follow-up visits, the recirculation feature of my hot water heater still doesn't work. It's clear from my phone calls with the service manager and plumbers, they aren't very knowledgeable of the Rinnai system installed. I've yet to get the circulation feature to work and even when I provided Hybrid the error code, they struggled to know how to respond. They've never taken the time to ensure the recirculation system feature works before departing.

Had Trane XL 16i 2.5 ton straight ac condenser with AC Split,TEM6 Air Handler Installed Tech Dave Miles & Jr. Mechanic Jake Thiles . They Did The Work Of Four People In Eight Hours On 16 July 2020. Taking Out Old Unit And Installing New Unit With New Drain Lines . Attic Was Tight Space . They Did Great Job . Hope They Both Get Raise . I Have My Universal HVAC License with Recovery and Can Appreciate How Much Work Was Involved ! Tech Jake Tuel Looked At Old System And Set Up Complete Price Which Was Good Install Complete Price. I Look Forward To Them Cleaning The Two Coils Twice A Year And Servicing Unit. Electric Bill Is Lower Now . Thanks To All The Hybrid Air Family !

I recently used Angie's List for the first time. It was not a good experience. I have a small plumbing job – replace three exterior faucets with anti-freeze faucets. I received a response from Hybrid Air and spoke to one of its schedulers. She told me a Hybrid plumber could visit my house on Saturday (the 14th), give me an estimate and do the job that day if the estimate was acceptable to me. She disclosed that there was a $90 charge for the visit, which would be applied to the cost of the job if I elected to allow Hybrid to do the work. On Saturday a man from Hybrid arrived at my house as agreed. However, he was not a plumber. I heard him speaking to his office and said that the plumbers were not working on Saturday. He spent 15 minutes looking at the plumbing and then left. He told me I would receive an e mail with an estimate in 30 minutes. It was clear that the work was not going to be completed on Saturday. I paid him $90 plus a fee for using a credit card. I received a written estimate stating that it would cost $804 to complete the job. It did not itemize the bill. I then sent a return e mail and asked for a breakdown of the cost – how much per hour and the cost of the parts. I indicated that I thought the cost was too high for the nature of the work. I searched the internet and discovered that the faucets cost about $35 per unit -- or approximately $100 for parts. As a result, the labor component of the estimate was $704. Assume $50 per hour – that means the job would take approximately 14 hours. At $100 per hour, the job would take approximately 7 hours. I cannot imagine replacing 3 faucets takes a full day for one person. In return to my e mail about an itemization of the estimate, I received an e mail from the CEO asking for a phone number to call me. I sent a response with a good time to talk and the number to call. I have not heard from him. Hybrid exchanged e mails with me. As a result, it had my e mail address and my work phone. In the earlier e mail i provided my home number. As a result, Hybrid had three means of contacting me. I am deeply disturbed with this experience. I just wasted $94. I will not use Hybrid. I trusted Angie's List and was disappointed.

In my opinion, Hybrid Air is a company that lacks integrity. I base my opinion my dealings with them over the years. I purchased an HVAC unit (heat and cooling) from Hybrid, in 2016. I chose Hybrid because they offered Trane equipment with ten (10) years parts and labor (I paid a premium for this). I pay annually and receive a pre-season equipment check. They would always recommend mastic seal and Full system surge protection. I declined, thinking that everything was new and if I needed these upgrades, they should have been included with the installation. Fall 2019, after I paid my annual renewal, a tech was dispatched to perform fall checkup, on October 28th. I had been running the heating system, prior to the checkup, to knock off the morning chill, “no problems”. Two weeks after the checkup when the weather started getting cold, I could see that the system was not working properly. I placed a service call and a tech came out on November 14th. He said he found a loose wire and charged me $90. I questioned why I was being charged when I have a parts and labor contract? He said I would have to speak to the office. I called the next day and was told that my warranty was cancelled due to a laps, in 2017. I called again, on November 15th, the next day, because the problem was not fixed. The tech arrived late in the evening and appeared anxious to go home. He said that I needed a part, but he assured me that the system would work over the weekend. No parts have been replaced and my system is working fine (It is now March).

I used this company for over two years. During the first year they failed to inspect and clean the system though I contracted them to do so. Their reason was that the person who was scheduled to perform the work had been fired and they never rescheduled, until I called them. They then informed me that I needed a cleaning that was not covered and would need to shell out another $800 for the cleaning (though the reason is needed a thorough cleaning was due to their failure to fulfil the obligations of their contract). The manager (or owner, not sure) then offered me an additional year of coverage for no cost. Thinking that they were trying to correct their poor performance and repair the poor customer support they had exhibited until that point, I agreed. During this last year I had to call repeatedly to get them to come to the property to do their semi-annual inspection and cleaning. I then decided to go with another contractor, once this year was done. They called me last week to set up an inspection and cleaning and to remind me that the annual contract renewal was coming due. I guess I made the mistake of being honest by telling them that I was going to go with another contractor once this year was over. They said they would contact the renters to set up the final inspection and cleaning for the current contract. They have not done so, and without much badgering by me, I don’t believe they ever will. I would not recommend this company for HVAC services, they do not stand behind their work or fulfil their obligations under contract.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed] has been a good Hybrid Air customer for the past 2 years. However, he is the landlord to the property in question. On more than 1 occasion he has asked that we work with his tenants to schedule the preventative maintenance cleanings. Since 2018, we have made 7 outbound and received 9 inbound calls. Two of the inbound calls one of the tenants asked that we do not call their number again. The other was to add a new tenants number to the call list. On Oct. 16, 2018, one of our techs came out to do the semi-annual cleaning. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was not satisfied. Dan Baxter, Service Manager and the PM Tech returned to Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s rental property. Dan arrived at the property, he learned that the tenants are dog owners. The system had dog hair in areas beyond a normal cleaning specs. Dan offered and completed a system deep clean at no cost to Mr. [Member Name Removed]. The deep clean is more expensive and as the name applies more detailed than the annual cleaning. Hybrid Air has made every effort to honor and even gone above and beyond to service this rental property."

Terrible. Paid the a LOT of money in 2013 and just had to replace the entire system. They connected to the old duct system whaich was collapsing on itself. Wrong zoning system. Humidifier NEVER connected to water. Should have replaced the old supply and return plenums. Reused old emergency tray which was not large enough for their new system and crushed by it.Attic unit not level causing improper draining and rusting out of coil ---Replaced last year for $$$$. Zoning bypass improperly installed.. The piping for the drain line was improperly run -- looks like they broke it and installed a condensate pump.The outside condenser was installed sideways and on a pad installed over the old pad --- unit leaned and ran loud

However, you did not call us to address any issues since the last preventative maintenance cleaning ( 4 years ago), where the tech gave your system a clean bill of health. We have not heard from you since Oct. 20, 2015 - 4 years ago. We repaired a loose wire and conducted 2 preventative maintenance cleanings. The first cleaning indicates the unit was leveled and completely cleaned. The 2nd cleaning was conducted without issue. It was during the Oct. 20, 2015 cleaning you told our tech you no longer wanted us to maintain your system. As for the issue resolution, we try our best to solve issues within the shortest time. It is unfortunate that you you are now sending us this feedback after all these years. If you’re open to discussing this further, please call us. We wish you all the best."

Installers were ontime and executed eveyr stage of the install in a very professional manner. About three days later the HVAC stopped working and Hybrid responded that afternoon and got it working by replacing a sensor that failed. Also, what saved the day for my family, unrelated to the HVAC replacement Hybrid found a gas leak in my water heater gas line and replaced that as well during the install........ Good looking out Hybrid

Job was done efficiently, quietly, and cleanly. We run an office in an old (1920') vintage farm house as an office building in tight quarters and the team from Hybrid Air allowed us to keep working and caused very little disruption. After beating other reputable local contractors by nearly 15% on each phase of the job (we had each bid break down the 3 major components), I was really pleased with the quality of the equipment and the attention to detail in the installation. I've been in the attic. It's hot, filthy, and very tightly spaced. It was a labor of love to re-run all that ductwork. The air quality and volume surprised all the staff. The electric bill should go way down based on the amount of time the unit has to run now compared to the older unit we took out. I also appreciated the time that the sales manager took with me when bidding to explain our old problems and propose a global solution. He answered all my questions and personally came and installed AC window units while we are on the 1 week waiting list to get the work done!
